Even though we are a new customer and they don't know us, they had the foresight to let us know they would be out of town for a couple days so recommended coming over soon to set up the unit. After getting to the place we had thought we rented at in Lompoc we found that our order at been unexpectedly moved to the U-Haul center in Vandenberg Village. I was a little off put by this. The gentlemen in Vandenberg were awesome. They were very friendly and provided excellent service. This of course calmed me and I then felt better about the confusion. If I ever need another truck in that area, there will be no need to go anywhere else but to Javier at U-Haul in Vandenberg Village. Thanks for being friendly and professional.

While hooking up the car carrier trailer to my truck, he found that one of the turn signals wasn't working. He dug into my truck and found I had a blown fuse that he replaced with no charge. I just believe that any business needs to understand that respect for the people who are paying your bills be served with the utmost respect and gratitude. We just don't have money to waste and most wealthy individuals don't understand that $20 is a lot of money when you're retired and only have a limited income on Social Security. I earned that money & worked hard to earn every dime. Probably more than most. Unfortunately I have had an autoimmune disorder for 16 years that I can't control with the current meds. It's extremely difficult & painful to lift heavy 0, move large things etc. ME, myself and I have done more work than anyone on this planet when it comes to effort. I struggled so much moving from my home and was getting rid of everything I own. Most never even contemplate the idea!!! So I have my shuttle bus and completely gutted it! Me, myself and I built the entire thing by My Little old fingers that I am surprised haven't fallen off. I have never asked or wanted anything from anyone or any entity. In 20 years, I would call, Greg would answer. Hey Greg this is Patti and he would say "I know who you are! " it used to make me feel good about being acknowledged. No one does that anymore. Well the dip that sold me my bus gave me a fraudulent smog certificate and I was never informed that the Bus did not have a catalytic converter because it had been stolen and the school district fleet manager decided to pop a pipe over the converter area instead of doing their job to drive the vehicle legally. California government vehicles are exempt from smog and registration requirements so Mr Fleet Man really broke the law thinking it would never be a commercial vehicle for smog and registration. The tow truck driver had a relative with a mechanic shop for smog checks. The seller presented me with a fraudulent smog certificate. It's running rampant if anyone cares to know. Theft is on the rise and converters are stolen daily, mainly from Toyota Prius. $6000 bill for my insurance, although I am actually paying for it in increased policy prices. I was desperately doing my best every day to move from a 5x5 inside storage that was incredibly hard for the to navigate with RA! I was forced to walk many steps in pain and it was about 140 yards from my car. Each day I spent in pain walking and I really should not have been doing so much work. I'm not 20 anymore, but I guarantee I can put in more effort and work than anyone younger. 30 years in real estate and the balance in customer service arenas. I have been struggling to understand why Bob decided that he no longer wanted my business. I had to relocate to Utah because the bus cannot be registered with out a smog. I didn't have a handy $6000 laying around and actually don't believe that many do right now. Imagine learning about a devastating fact that you will have a real problem when you can't drive your mobile home . It can really mess you up when you don't have a roof over your head. It's very scary boys and girls! I accomplished my goals and reached out to Greg to let him know that I have some boxes from my storage unit in my 30 foot storage parking space that I have paid dearly for, for many years. I always kept him informed because it is extremely difficult for even truckers to drive 1400 miles total in a short period of time. I can't control time, unfortunately. Wish I could. So I called him 1 day crying my eyes out because he MAILED ME an eviction notice stating I needed to perform & remove any boxes from the space I was paying for or leave almost immediately. Wowzer. I was blown away. He GRANTED ME A FEW MORE DAYS TO COMPLETE MY TASK AND SAYS, we don't want this rv storage lot to look like a junk yard. Okay I get. ( in my mind I'm asking then why does the owner have shit everywhere too but just behind a garbage can and metal gates that are see through. Do you really think anyone is going to walk behind my storage and drop in disgust and vacate the lot? No! I know a majority of the residents because I was BORN HERE AND KINDA KNOW THE PEOPLE cause I also sold a lot of our community real estate. The bummer for me is that I thought Greg and the owner were cool dudes. Unfortunately I no longer feel that way. Whe Greg called me completely furious at 9 am, I was getting coffee at You almost made it with over 20 years and over $15, 000 worth of my hard earned money. Too bad you children are going to need to start over. You know me Greg I have always in 20 years been respectful. I explained I was out of state taking care of personal family health issues and you reassured me that someone would be in contact with me and that has not happened. I was niece to you not having a online paying system and I am at my wits end trying to speak to someone regarding my unit I have someone who is willing to help me but whenever I call it's not answered nor my voicemails and sometimes I can't leave a voicemail due to the storage being full. I'm extremely worried about my belongings and you all personally I hope everyone is okay. A colleague of mine says she has gone down there multiple times during business hours and nobody is there.
