The counter is now to the left as you walk in, selling the usual cigs, sweets and gas and electric. There is a freezer section to get any last minute bits and are not as expensive as the usual conveinence stores tend to be. The staff are ok, sometimes missing a polite smile, but you cant have it all ay.

As you walk through the entrance, you walk around the shop in a U shape where there are two tills and the exit! So the cool thing about this place is they have a pay point terminal and pay zone terminal which is very rare to have both available in a store, which is great for me as saves making a trip out to another shop and the staff are pretty helpful and friendly!

There is nothing that makes this store worth travelling miles just to see (it is, after all, just a grocer-type place) but when your are here you'll see that it is worthy of it's four stars. It does indeed sell everything you would expect of a convenience store - with a healthy alcohol section (substantial, not necessarily good for you) - but that should only really equate to 3 stars in my eyes. The fourth star is awarded for the level of cleanliness and the sense of order here at G Express. ALL of the aisles are well stocked with a large variety of goods, neat, tidy well arranged. But the best part of it is that G Express became the first place where it was so clean I could see my own reflection in the floor! THE FLOOR! Alright, it's not like looking straight into a mirror but the are definite outlines and facial features visible, I could clearly see me - in the floor! Awesome floor. That aside, the staff are all quite chilled and friendly and an impressive modern computer system is running there which includes a large flat-screen TV which doubles up as their CCTV when their not watching football or their favourite show.
