I have been here several times, lunches, dinners, and holiday party. It never disappoints. The food…read moreis amazing. The portions are generous. I'm not a beer person but my husband always seems to find a new favorite. Personal favorites include schnitzel, spatzle, brisket poutine, brussel sprout Caesar salad, and shrimp and grits. Their menu has such variety, I can't think I one thing I wouldn't get again! If you haven't tried it, GO NOW! if you haven't been in a while GO NOW! The only drawback (which proves their success) is a possible wait in the evenings. The staff is so efficient and seem to try their best to accommodate every person/party that walks in the door. Oh I didn't mention the deserts! Hand made! Dare I say, better than moms? You know how you're usually to full for desert? Take one bite and bring the rest home

They were so good. The krauts had this crunchiness and you could tell they made them fresh there. For entrees, I got myself schweinshaxe and my partner got pork schnitzel. The schweinshaxe was a huge pork shank with krauts. The pork shank was so slow cooked so it was super tender and flavorful. It was so good. I wished they added a bit more krauts to it. I couldn't finish it at all cause it was just so much. There was bread pudding to the dish. I guessed because of the savory and sourness of the krauts and pork shank. They needed to add some sweetness by introducing bread pudding. The bread pudding was very yummy. My partner enjoyed his pork schnitzel. He said Das Schnitzel Haus made it better but this came in a very close second. Overall, we love their menu since they offer something different. The menu would be perfect if they have potato pancakes.

Oh my gosh! Who-da-thunk it in Old Brooklyn? Knew nothing of this place until recently. Had a…read moreburger. Awesome. One of the best around. Great char flavor with great pickles. As a sour dill pickle lover, I really loved the cucumber-flavor pickles. They are great for the burger -- adds even more flavor without overwhelming like some pickles can. The pickles taste how I imagine they would when only half through pickling process -- a combo of discernible cucumber with a mild dill flavor. Very nice. I was disappointed with the octopus. It was delicious and uber tender, but only one small tentacle -- not enough to share with anyone. My husband and I can share a meatball at most places but this tentacle was too small. The gnocchi that accompanied it could be a dish all its own. The gnocchi with the potato alone would make a great app. or entree. We were really impressed with the food and are looking forward to round 2.

Never Say Dive was on my list of places to try, so I decided to check them out during wing week…read more The wing flavor they were offering sounded tasty and they were offering a Baja blast margarita. I love a good dive bar, however Never Say Dive is a bit more elevated when it comes to the food choices. I really wanted to try the deviled eggs, but they were out. There definitely some other things that caught my eye, but decided on just the wings. It was later in the evening. I believe the server said they were gochujang, though the flavor was a bit different than the gochujang I'm used to. They definitely packed a kick of heat. Overall I enjoyed them. The margarita was just ok. Long story short, I would try it out again
