Kim has been doing my lashes for about 3 months now and she does not disappoint. Kim is very precise, she is a perfectionist and very qualified. The energy in the salon is very upbeat. The salon is in a clean and in a great location. VIcki is always so nice, she always greets me with such good energy, always happy. It's a bit of a drive for me, but don't mind the hour drive to Mill Creek. It's always worth it. Those of you that book a classic, I highly recommend you don't. Go big or go home! You need VOLUME. Very unfortunate to leave a review so low. One of my eyes was super uncomfortable the entire time, the tape was pressing up against my eye ball the entirety of my appointment. $300 for a full volume... that's if I would have had full volume. Kim missed a lot of lashes to make my lashes look more like classic. The appointment was most likely rushed because there was a client right after me. I went to a different lash place to get the volume look I wanted. Only to find out that there was multiple stickies in my lashes and a ton of healthy lashes that have been missed. Super unfortunate that this place is more of a money grab to do a crappy job with a quick turnover to make money off their clients and think the clients won't notice. London Brows didn't not disappoint- the salon was clean and gave a relaxing vibe. The first app was a consultation where the brow specialist recommended powdering over microblading and explained why. During the actual app, it was a bit painful, but it is a tattoo, so I expected that. London brows is a bit pricier than other places, but you get what you pay for. Dealing with London Brows & Lashes was a comedy of errors that started with me mistakenly booking an appointment for the following day--a time and date that I was out of town. When I looked at my text messages the following morning and saw the auto-text confirmation, I realized what I had done and called them right away to avoid a no-show and pay them if needed. "Hi! This is Laura and I accidentally booked an appointment last night for 11:45 am today. I apologize, and need to cancel!" "We have a 24 hour cancellation policy or you will be charged." "I understand." "I have to call and see what [the aesthetician] says. I'll call you back." "Great. Thanks." "It also looks like you are booked for next Tuesday. Can you make that?" "Yes, that was me rescheduling for a day that I will be back." I didn't get a call back, but I received an auto-text that the salon had cancelled my 11:15 appointment. I wasn't sure if they intended to charge me or not. Later that afternoon, I received a text from someone there asking me to call and give them some information prior to my appointment. I called and got Kim. "Hi! This is Laura and I received a text that you need some things from me." "Yes. We need to put your credit card on file." Right out of the gate. No welcome to our services, no prelude of any kind. I gave her the number. "Thank you. Now are you going to show up this time?" I was taken aback. "Sure." I said, "I will be back by then." "Well I'm just asking because [your aesthetician] drives an hour and a half to work and she's 6 months pregnant." Ok, I thought, but ouch! I just got shamed for my earlier booking error. "I'll be there!" And I was. When I got to the building with the big London Brow sign on the side, I looked around to figure out how to get in. The lobby directory indicated that London Brow had its own suite entrance accessible from the outside. Hmmm, I thought. Most businesses, when they get your information and there is something potentially complicated about finding them, will say something along the lines of, "I see it will be your first time here. We have a separate entrance on the west side of the building." After the shaming on Friday, and no communication regarding the entrance location, I'm beginning to wonder about the business acumen of the place. I walked around the building reading business signage on exterior suite doors and found what I was looking for, clearly marked with the business name and number. No other signage of any kind. I tried the door and it was locked with a key safe mounted next to it. Well, she's pregnant, I thought. And a lot can happen in an hour and a half commute. And it's covid. The key safe looked like something employees used to let themselves in. If she's already late, she's probably a bit frazzled. I waited a couple of minutes, then called the number painted on the door. A woman answered. "Hi! This is Laura. I have a 1:15 appointment today and I just wanted you to know that I am outside." "OK." "Are you my aesthetician?" "No, I'm the receptionist." Receptionist? Uh oh. I started to get a sinking feeling that I was at the wrong London Brow. "Uh, where are you located?" I asked. "Highway 9." "Oh! I'm in front of a London Brow in Mill Creek. Are there two London Brows?" "No. We moved a year ago." "Oh! What is your cross street?" "Highway 9," she repeated. "Ya. I got that. What is the cross street on Highway 9?" I am trying to gage how long it will take me to get there and how late I will be. "Do you want our address?" "Sure." She gave it to me. "Well, you know what? I am going to be pretty late if I try to make it there. Why don't you just charge me for the missed appointment and we'll call it good?" "Ok. That's fine. But we don't have your card number." I wanted to offer her a job. And say something like, "Gee, do you ever feel like you are not meeting your boss's expectations due to poor communication? There might be some better opportunities out there for you." Instead, I thought, interesting. There was a phone call that took place Friday that's sole purpose was to get that very same card number and guilt/shame me into making sure I didn't miss this appointment. "[Here's the #]", I said. "And will you put an additional 20% on there for a tip? It's not the aesthetician's fault that I missed the appointment." And then I added, "And maybe you could tell the owner that she could have mentioned that you guys had moved" (along with over-sharing about the pregnant employee with the horrific commute). "Well, we sent you an email." "Ah. I didn't know to look for it. It must have gone into my junk. " So clearly, from photos and several reviews, these gals do solid work. But there were a lot of missed opportunities here for good communication-everything from tone and messaging, on down to posting a simple "We've moved" sign on the door. And, as we say, where there's smoke, there's fire. There's something going on with this place that I don't need to be a part of. read more

Been here once and would never come back..the girl who did my lashes (Raissa) I think was her name was nice and did a good job..but when I had make an appt for a fill with WHITNEY, she went ahead and told me that I can't have my child with me, (my child was with me the 1st time I was there) I told them i didn't have family here but I guess that didn't really matter, I'm just disappointed that they didn't inform their clients that kids are not allowed, maybe indicate that next time so people will know it in the future! After receiving a response (of sorts) to make me feel better about my experience, I've updated my original review: Thank you for making the distinction. I was under the impression you were running a daycare/salon, my apologies. I can respect that you would be biased and take your daughters version of events over mine. And yes, you have earned another point by making it clear I wasn't disappointed with your beauty services, rather, I was complaining about your lack of customer service. Is a lash connoisseur a thing? If its a thing, i'm it. I'm the thing. I've had my lashes done in salons everywhere between North Everett to Seattle, Renton, and Bellevue for the last 10ish years and I cant even begin to express how excited i am that I finally found someone so talented in my own backyard! The salon itself is cute and clean - idk what it is but something in there smells really good. Candles maybe? Skincare stuff? Idk but i likey. And Kim? She's so skilled at what she does! I've had some good lash artists in the past but Kim is so much better than "good". The retention is phenomenal and her "staggered" style is so on point. I'm updating my review since I've been a loyal client to London Brows and Lashes for 3 years now. I used to see whitney and while she is very talented I changed Lash Specialists because my schedule changed and I love how talented Namir is. Punctuality: I appreciate Namir because she is punctual and is considerate towards everyday issues like traffic. So in return I am grateful and understanding if she is finishing up another client when I arrive. I've seen her sacrifice her own time or break to finish another client. She always finishes what she starts which I admire and respect. Great work ethic! Design: I'm extremely picky and probably annoying but every time I go she listens to new looks I'd like to try. I always thought I preferred the classic cat eye but she always has a trick up her sleeve to make my lashes perfect. This adaptability is one of my favourite things about her work. Cleanliness: She always cleans between clients and I always see her either wash her hands and or use the sanitizer. Because I'm taking medicine that weakens my immune system, I appreciate her attention to this detail. She even gives me a mask when I need one. She never makes me feel uncomfortable. Professionalism: She remains aware of her surroundings and knows when to make jokes and when to be serious. This is very smart! Knowledge: Any question she can answer and in a timely manner. Availability: -Namir has bent over backwards to be flexible around my insane work schedule. She even has come in hours early to help me get a fill. -As far as cancellations I think its important to remember this is a career for these wonderful artists and not showing up or being excessively late should result in a no show fee. I haven't experienced this personally. I've only had to cancel once because I was in hospital and she was understanding which I appreciated and I never made a habit of canceling last second. I never had to take a break for my lashes to grow back. Never feel any pain when the lashes grow out neither. Waste of time and money very disappointing, penny or whatever your name is you need to learn how to talk to your customers.

It's been five months since I had my semi-permanently tattooed. I couldn't be anymore pleased with the results. I initially requested that they be microbladed; however, due to my skin type, Whitney and Kim urged me to to have them ombré tinted instead. They explained that, though the tiny hair-like strokes would look ah-mazing for the weeks that followed application, that within months the tiny hair-like strokes would begin to bleed. Fortunately, there was someone in their studio that had them microbladed (at another studio, not London Brow), and, yep, they were "bleeding" and looked blurry. It didn't look natural at all. The first session was intense, I'm not even going to lie. I've never had a tattoo before, so I had no idea what level of pain to expect. It wasn't torturous, but it definitely was noticeable. After an hour-long session, she applied some sealant and provided a verbal and written post-op procedure. I adhered to all of the guidelines. It was tough, bc you can't expose your eyebrows to water. So, no gym and no deep facial cleansing (well, around the brows) for a month or so. After 6 weeks, I had my brows touched up again. I was nervous bc I wasn't super jazzed with the results at that time. I felt like a clown bc the brows were so incredible bold! Also, I wasn't used to them. But, I trusted in the process, and all of my research. I knew that the skin had to undergo months of natural exfoliation, the ink would fade, and my perfect brows would happen! The touch-up wasn't as intense as the initial procedure, and Kim reassured me that the "clown look" would go away, and the color would clarify to something natural and gorgeous. She was so right! She matched my hair color perfectly with my brow color. I've attached a few pics. The first pic is after eyebrow powder has been applied, the second pic is before eyebrow powder (bare brow), and the third pic is before I had them done. I am so in love with my brows! I came to Kim last night and my eyelashes were in terrible shape! Normally I have great eyelashes naturally but had tried extensions so I could skip the time with mascara. After my second time of having them applied, I had an allergic reaction. Over the next couple of months I pretty much ruined my lashes and couldn't get any answers from that technician on what to do. Needless to say, what Kim had to work with last night was not the best scenario. What I can tell you now is that I have a beautiful set of eyelashes. I had read her blog about what to do to combat the reaction and I followed it to a "t ". I have slight redness today but no itching or swelling. Beyond that, Kim was a magician in placing extensions on my short stubby baby lashes! I won't be going anywhere else! read more

Just as many others have said, the customer service here is horrible and it's not just once in a while, it's the norm. It doesn't matter how nice you are, what a loyal customer you've been or how long you've been going there, at some point you will be on the receiving end. They will also do whatever they can to take your deposit or charge extra fees. Whitney and her mother Kim, the owner, do not know the meaning of the words customer service. From the very first lash extension set (ever!) I received from London Brows, I was truly addicted! I love the transformation lash extensions allows my natural face to have. I look more awake and put together "naturally" and it saves me so much time getting ready on a busy daily routine! I can't even imagine living without them now! I had the most amazing experience at London Brows & Lashes. I had been looking into getting my eyebrows laminated for some time but couldn't find a place near where I live. I stumbled upon a post on Instagram and fell in love with their work, I was shocked to see it was close to my home, alas a chance to give it a shot! the proof is in the documented photos and videos they put on all social media for their customers. I've been going to London Brows for over a year now and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Kim and Andrea both do a phenomenal job on my short, sparse lashes. I started going to London Brows when I was working in Bothell. Now, I work out of Seattle, but still make the drive up because it's worth it. For this reason, I especially appreciate that they have appointments available later in the evening. Scheduling online is so easy, too! Another thing that is important to me is the health of my natural lashes. I had gotten lash extensions once before (years ago) and the lashes that salon used on me were way too long, thick, and plasticky. Half of them fell off on the first night... all from the same eye. I could tell many of my natural lashes fell out with them, so after that experience, I was weary about having my lashes done again. I'm happy to say that my lashes are doing better with lash extensions from London Brow than they were before! I have been getting my eyelashes done by Penny. To this day, I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than her (and I have been to a few eyelash artists throughout Seattle, Bellevue, and Marysville). She has given me nothing but flawless, gorgeous eyelashes in which I receive compliments daily from strangers complimenting her work. In the past, I have decided to take a break from lash extensions and was mortified to realize that after the removal process that I would also lose my natural lashes... not with Penny at London Brows. Out of all the other lash artists I have seen, she is the only artist that was able to keep my real lashes healthy and just as good as they were before, if not better. No patches missing or anything =) Also, the lashes they use, are sooooo light and fluffy! Which give you such a pretty and wispy look whether you go for the classic or volume sets, she can customize to the look you want. In the past with other salons, for the first few days my lashes would look amazing but always felt super heavy for my eyes and would sometimes poke my eyes. Not with London Brow lashes, you can barely feel anything on your eyelashes, they literally feel like your own! :) Also, I just want to add...as a germ freak, I am very picky when it comes to sanitation. The salon is always really clean and relaxing. I have never got an infection from my eyelash extensions or felt unwelcome. Kim & Whitney are also amazing too. I came in to see Kim after moving back to Washington and going to another salon in Mill Creek for a few fills. My lashes looked terrible and Kim had to start from scratch. She warned me it would not be an immediate fix but may take a few sessions. It did take a few fills before my lashes were restored back to being healthy and full but they have never looked better. Do not waste your time or money going to another salon for sub par work. I get compliments all the time on my lashes. Kim also did microblading/ombré Brows on me and I am in love with them. She asked me what I was looking for but offered her suggestions on what she felt would look best. She spent extra time making them perfect. Whitney is Kim's daughter and now works at London Brow too. Like Kim, Whitney also does an absolutely amazing job on all her services. This place is the real deal. They take pride in their work and stand behind it. Heres an update of my review in light of kims reply: Nobody told me my strokes were beautiful you said they were fine but they had bleed a bit. And i did not come in to your studio to have you tell me i have purple eyebrows i was there for a full set of eyelashes and that it is. Whitney did in fact tell me that "we can fix those with a different color ombre powder" so yes she did state something about fixing them and regardless its tasteless and tacky to bash your clients and other salons they have been to. would like to start my review by stating that my lash artist was Penny and she did a good job. This was my first time getting my lashes done at london brows and i had no particular problem with my lash artist. I will also add that i have many months experience of getting my eyelashes done, i previously went to vanity lash lounge in mill creek which i love but just had gotten an infection (to mo fault of theirs) so i thought i would try something new. However after this i will be going back to vanity lash lounge because the professionalism and service i have received there is top notch and my experience at London Brows was anything but. It is unfortunate for Penny that i had this experience because i would go back to her if not for the unprofessional environment. When i laid down Penny had asked me where i got my microblading done because the color was off from my natural. I proceeded to tell her that meghan at vanity had done them. She then called whitney over who proceeded to tell me i had horrible eyebrows and they were purple and i should get them redone by her. Not only is this completely unprofessional but i was not in your studio to get my eyebrows done so you should keep your comments to yourself. If you were to make a comment on my eyelashes since that was the service i was receiving i would not have been so put off. Then awhile later i hear Kim and Whitney talking very loudly to another client about how microblading is awful and you should never get it done and you should instead get a different service done by them. Which once again is completely unprofessional and disrespectful knowing i am right there and have had this service done and you have already told me they are hideous. Whitney also was telling one if her clients about how while another artist would be cheaper she should go to her for her eyebrows because "its your face you want it to look good" implying that her coworkers would do a worse job than her. Awhile later Kim comes to take a look at my brows and proceeded to tell me how awful they are and that Meghan should know what she is doing because she has had a talk with her about "color theory" but "clearly it didn't stick" not only are you belittling and putting down a paying customer you are being extremely elitist and putting down a business many many times that is practically next door to you. Bashing a business frequently is a sign of insecurity in your own but i understand why you would be insecure about the volume of clientele vanity sees and you dont. Ive walked into vanity and other studios many times and have never had an experience like this i have never heard any other studios bash yours or any others for that matter. Kim also asked me who my previous lash artist was and i told her it was Jordan and a few other girls but i loved Jordan and she told me the only reason i loved her was because she trained her. The general conversation going on in the room was inappropriate to have while a client is there and it was loud and made my experience uncomfortable. The attitude of Whitney and her mother Kim was so elitist and off putting that i will never come back even though my lash artist Penny did a good job. I know they will read this review and doing nothing about it i only hope my review can advise some others away from this studio. read more
