Oh, how I wish she had left that alone and spent more time on a good brow job. On the way home, in better light, I see a large hank of eyebrow hair that has escaped removal. Playing phone tag with an admirably responsive Diane, I go back in and she graciously removes remaining hair. Still, no stencil, no arch measuring, nothing like previous visits to Anastasia counter. Why am I such a wuss about demanding adequate service? Why don't I call people on their shit? Both the top and bottom line of my brows are uneven where they have not been before, which I have to attribute to the wax job I received. If you've ever had a fine eyebrow wax done, you know it is very, very easy to fill in your brows and wind up with awesome eyebrows. I've had to work at it to figure out how to get my brows to look great, and that they look nice reflects much more on my experience and diligence than the wax job I got. I would have had just as good service, if not better, at a little strip mall Asian nail and waxing shop, at less than half the price ($30) so it feels like I threw away money on this service. I then texted Jessica asking if she accidentally cancelled that one too, assuming it was an error. I still needed a sugaring at this point. I asked her if she could stay late or come in a little early as this cancellation was not told to me. I was willing to be flexible, but needed her to be also. I asked her multiple times to give me a day that worked best for her. She never did. Said I needed to go book time on her website and that it wasn't her fault that they had been cancelled. I assumed she would be a smart enough business woman, to understand if she made a mistake to own it and be willing to fit for a long time customer. She wasn't. Her responses were rude and unprofessional. Saying "What can't you believe? That I'm not being over backwards to rip out your crotch hair out when there is a million other places you can go because my schedule doesn't work with yours?...you are being such a princess. I don't need this stupidity in my life." Mind you, she picked a profession that "rips out crotch hair" and I guess I was "being a princess" because she wouldn't help figure out a time that worked for both of us, after cancelling TWO appointments in the last week. Needless to say, I will never be going back and you shouldn't either. If you would like to actually have your appointments kept and someone professional, do not go here. Update: After posting this review Jessica again decided to text me about how I am "a piece shit" and that she "called the police and contacted her lawyer". Have you ever cut your own hair and it turned out to be not as bad as you thought, but then when you actually go to a salon you're like, "What was I thinking?!" Doing my own lashes...same concept. So it's 2025 and my daughter and I decide that we wanna do something for ourselves again that involves a professional. This is where Divaforeva Lashes takes our needs and wants to another level. I called to inquire about services and it was the owner, Gennifer, who answered the phone. Not only did I get all of my questions answered, I made appointments for both my daughter and I and immediately felt the personal service & quality we were going to receive...and this is just over one phone call. Not to mention there were three additional phone calls due to my daughter's work schedule which they were more than happy to accommodate as it was within their policy. The day had finally come. I was so excited! There was plenty of parking and when you walk into the establishment the atmosphere was elegant, inviting and more importantly pristine. The seating area where Gennifer sat with me as a new client is very comfortable and inviting. And talking with Gennifer is like talking with a friend. You can tell she's very proud of what she's created and very humble for the clients she has. As you walk upstairs to the private rooms you're asked if you'd like to use the restroom first as a full set is a two hour long process. The bathroom is just as clean as the rest of the salon and very nicely decorated. Once in the room there's a very comfortable seat where they continue the interview which is very personalized and informational. You're then welcomed to lay on a heated and extremely comfortable bed where the magic takes place. Full disclosure, I actually fell asleep during my session. When I woke up I was ecstatic to see the beautiful art that Gennifer had done with my face. Yes, she only did my lashes, but you know how when you mount an exquisite piece of art on a wall and now that entire wall just looks amazing? That's exactly what she did to my face. I would say the experience was beyond words, but if you've made it this far then I guess you could call me a liar. Oh!!! And I cannot forget to mention that on this day Divaforeva Lashes received the Best of Glam/Lashes in all of Snohomish County and is also the Best Overall Business in all of Mill Creek. The best in the business!…read more I started visiting owner and lash magician Gen when she was in her home. Never would I have imagined that I would find someone so skilled yet so patient and kind. I suffer from anxiety that flares up when getting lashes done (having to keep eyes closed for long period of time). During my sessions, Gen played a calming playlist and talked me through the entire process to make sure I was at peace. After my appointment, she went over how to care for my lashes and even gave me a cleaning kit. I've gotten my lashes done for years and no one has ever thoroughly explained how to care for lashes.
