It only took them about 3 hours to remove all three trees, and all of my neighbors were impressed with how fast they worked. Those trees were a nightmare, and thanks to Dank, Inc, I finally have a backyard I can actually enjoy. They also left the backyard very clean, which I really appreciated. After I left the store, I checked Lowe's website and discovered the same mower was listed for much less. I went back to speak with the employee who sold it to me. First, he offered to lower the price to $425. Then, after I showed him the website price of $409 for the same model, he still tried to pressure me into accepting the open-box item at that price, which I refused. It was obvious he was unhappy after I discovered he had tried to sell me an open-box item at a much higher price than a brand-new one. He did not even want to handle the return himself and instead told me to wait in the return line. I waited, and when it was finally my turn, the customer service lady refused to process the refund and said a store manager had to approve it. The manager turned out to be the same employee who sold me the item. He conveniently disappeared and could not be found, leaving me standing there waiting and feeling embarrassed. The customer service lady's attitude was also aggressive and disrespectful. I stayed calm and patient the entire time and tried to explain the situation, but she did not want to hear anything I said. After being mistreated for so long, I said "jeez" out of frustration. She immediately mocked me by sarcastically repeating, "Yeah, jeez." When I responded that customers should not be treated with that level of disrespect, another female employee jumped in and yelled at me, saying, "Justin approved the refund," as if that excused everything that happened. I did not even know who Justin was, although I believe he was the same employee who had attempted to sell me the overpriced open-box mower. This was a very unprofessional and disrespectful experience. I do not expect to be misled into buying an overpriced open-box item, then treated rudely and made to wait unnecessarily just to get my money back. I had London renovate my front yard after it fell victim to hurricane sandy. Before that I had a very vanilla landscaping job with grass a few shrubs and some stone. When I came to London for some ideas they were there with amazing insight and progressive designs. I described the look i was into in general terms and they drew out my vision through sketch design. And it came it out so much nicer than I could've ever thought up. Brian, the owner works hand in hand with you on concept and he is very easy to deal with and really takes pride in getting the job right. Frank, his foreman, and his crew are very professional and meticulous in playing out the design. I feel for what I got done, that the price was very fair and you truly get what you pay for here. So they might not be the cheapest, but i think most people would not take short cuts with their curb appeal- as there is nothing better for me than pulling up to my home and being greeted with a impressive front yard. I didn't realize what I was missing all these years. So thank you London Landscape. Btw, when I visited their attached nursery they had a great selection of trees, shrubs, and garden decoration. The gift store inside is full of really unique gift ideas for the home. My favorites were the California candles which have beautiful art work and colors sketched into the candle, and the flameless Luminera candle run on remote control. I had such a great experience at London Landscape recently. I originally walked in to feel them out for a landscaping job involving pavers and new sod. After dealing with Brian (the owner), and his daughter Nicole, I walked out of there so happy I decided to use them. Brian is such a professional gentleman and took his time explaining the process for this job. His daughter showed me around the 2 acre nurrsery and showed me so many new ideas for my landscaping from different types of stone to a beautiful arrangement of trees/shrubs, to cool outdoor pots and other rawd iron pieces. I was thrilled..... A week later Brian drew up an amazing blueprint so I could visualize the layout. It was so much more sophisticated than the pavers and plain sod I originally planned. And def. worth the extra money. When it came to the day of the job, Frank (the head foreman), and his crew, worked hard and were very professional. They did a great job on the pavers and the landscaping looked identical to the beautiful blueprint..... I've been back there since to buy items from their gift shop. I've seen advertisement for 5-6 ft or 6-7 ft and the quality/fullness of the trees seem to varies on the landscapers. This season was also apparently tough on inventory and some of the landscapers I spoke with had trouble getting the trees at the right height we wanted. (I know construction supplies are low too, we've been looking into other home reno projects) Jack was very responsive from the beginning when I first reached out and when I asked, sent me photos, video and even face timed me to show me examples of the trees I would be getting. His brother also paid an in person visit and chatted with my neighbor and I about what they can do and the location for planting. I spoke with a few other landscapers but ultimately went with J&R because they were responsive, straightforward and the price was competitive! The trees ended up looking great, fat and tall and gave me instant privacy!!
