A great place for a girl's day to relax and add some self-care to your day. The staff were so welcoming and kind and the facilities are clean. I went on a Sunday afternoon with a friend but would definitely be back after a long work day to unwind and absorb the salt benefits. Parking out front was abundant and easy. I would wear something comfy and don't forget your socks! They do have some that you can borrow (they wash them of course!) should you forget your own. I had an amazing day at London's Salt Spa! Debbie, the owner, is so friendly and knowledgeable about the healing wonders of salt. I bought several scented salt scrubs and a salt stick for my son's acne and the prices were more than reasonable. I added a salt scrub with Verena, the massage therapist, and oh man I'm so glad I did. She has a delightful touch (I should know! I'm a massage therapist) and her personality is so sweet. My skin feels so soft today. Since I traveled over an hour to get there, Debbie booked me for a cave session where I had the cave all to myself. So thoughtful! I spend 45 minutes of bliss listening to the waterfall and gazing at the glowing salt. I didn't want to leave! I'm going to be back for sure! I'm getting the day spa package next time I go which is a salt scrub, one hour massage, and a 45-minute cave session. Cannot wait! I had my first appointment on Saturday and it was nothing short of amazing! I will say I think my body scrub was cut a little short, but I can only blame myself because I was late. Not sure how the experience would have been with someone who gave a hoot about customers, maybe better?? The person who helped us was clearly not the owner. Went with a group of girls from work. The girl working was extremely rude and made us feel like it was inconvenient for us to be there. She cut our time short and didn't give us 2 of the 3 elements that were part of our package. Actually being in the room was fun because of the girls I was with. Maybe a little odd since we never got the intro to what the salt cave is supposed to do for us. Anyway... Save your $24. My family visited this amazing spa over the last couple of months & will continue to do so. I will start with my son who has had years of Allergie shots & does not take them since he has been going to the salt spa. The spa has been life changing for our family. It is a feeling like a day at the beach gives you. The employees are so knowledgeable and kind and caring and they make you feel like family. Didn't have a chance to actually visit the Salt Spa. After realizing my gift card(from my mother-in-law) expired, I called to speak with a manager to see if they could make an exception. The gift card expired 1/1/15. I called 1/26/15 & Virgina couldn't help me & referred me to the owner, Debbie. Not hearing from her, I called back again on 1/27/15 and Virginia said she would have her call me. I could tell right away Debbie was not willing to help me; I told her it was an honest mistake, and that I was bringing a paying customer with me and planning on buying some lotions, scrubs, etc. She was not willing to compromise and only pointed out the obvious to me and wasn't friendly at all. She wanted to explain what her CPA told her & frankly, I didn't care to hear about it and told her so; I just wanted an opportunity to use my gift card and thought she could work something out with me. Zero points for Customer Service. She also stated this has happened a lot. I know better now. I told my mother-in-law I would pay her back. I'll go somewhere else with better karma. read more
