Consistency is the goal. It requires focus, adjustment, and PRACTICE. Golftec technologies (video playback, simulator) and Jason's experience together offer a golfer of any level valuable insights and skills building. For all those golfers I've met who love the game even if they admit they're not that good at it, invest in having even more fun by learning to improve your game.

Long gone are the times when you pay a PGA teaching pro 120.00 per hour to keep telling you to "keep your head down and watch the ball". Golftec utilizes launch monitors, golf simulators, high speed cameras, and all the latest teaching aids (that actually work) to hone in your consistent reproducible swing. Then lesson videos are placed on the player performance website that can then be downloaded to google drive or Dropbox etc to watch anytime on your iPhone/iPad or android device. In 6 lessons (after changing my grip, setup, and swing plane) and many practice sessions I feel like Ive finally found a consistent swing that's hitting the sweet spot of my irons and starting to become pretty reproducible distance control. Do yourself a favor and invest in your golf future by making a tour style swing a habit in your game today.

On the bright side, the service was warm and welcoming--both our server and the restaurant manager were attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the patio seating, which offered a stunning view of the golf course and made for a peaceful dining setting. For our meals, my wife had The Bossman sandwich ($12.95), a hearty stack of sliced smoked turkey, grilled herb tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and Dijonaise on toasted wheatberry bread, served with fries. I ordered the Golf Club Sandwich ($14.95), a towering creation of smoked ham, turkey, bacon, American and Swiss cheeses, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on the same toasted bread--though I received tater tots instead of the fries I requested. Both sandwiches were generously portioned and well-prepared; I couldn't finish mine and brought half back to the room. Unfortunately, the sides were a disappointment. Both the fries and tots were so heavily salted they were nearly inedible. We were also let down by the lack of drink options. The staff member we asked was unable to mix cocktails and told us they don't carry wine due to low demand--something unexpected at a resort restaurant. In summary, Speidel Grill has potential, especially with its lovely views and kind staff, but falls short in key areas like drink service and kitchen consistency. Worth a visit if you're staying on the property, but temper your expectations.
