Our first time at Forsythe was awesome! The string lights throughout the course made for a very nice setting! For $8 per adult for a game you get a nice amount of holes with some tricky obstacles. It's definitely one of the best courses I've been to in the Pittsburgh area. It does get fairly busy so be prepared to wait a little bit- but that's when you get to chat with your friends! I love the snacks and concessions they provide as well! They have many different cookie ice cream sandwiches to choose from which is so fun. Some cookies were a bit over baked for my liking- but still yummy. Forsythe is the perfect summer night spot!

Stopped by quick tonight just to grab some ice cream sandwiches! The mini golf was packed, but hope to make it back soon to golf. These ice cream sandwiches are to die for. The cookies are perfectly balanced with the ice cream and I love all of the fun flavor combos!

10 out of 10. Loved this so much. My first time of golfing in general. My friends brought me here on a Friday evening and it was buzzing with people. I liked that each station had the numbers on it so you can easily tell which one to go to next. Loved the nice family easy going atmosphere. As you progressed it started to get a bit challenging but I loved it. Service was great , got all that we needed as soon as we got there. Would definitely recommend.

I'm not gonna lie, I came here for an icecream sandwich and it did not disappoint! I got black cherry icecream in 2 chocolate cookies with Andes around it. Omg...I couldn't believe I ate the whole thing! It was so good (and huge). Do you know what also didn't disappoint? The mini golf! It was pretty crowded when we went and it looks like your basic mini golf, but it was actually a lot of fun and I honestly didn't feel too rushed. There definiely was always someone directly in front of us and directly behind us the whole time, but everyone was just having a good time and enjoying playing. A few of the holes were pretty unique, to include the "chip shot" hole. I've never seen a mini golf hole like it. The price was also super reasonable. It's a bit out of the way for me, but I'd come back again!

This place is adorable. For only $7 for adults and $5 for kids, this course is affordable and fun. The golf is challenging enough for adults. Everyone there of all ages seemed to have a great time. I also loved that it was shaded, making it comfortable to play on a hot day. Afterwards we grabbed some delicious ice cream sandwiches with homemade cookies. They were delicious. We'll definitely be back.

This place is so great! It's $7 per adult to play, and there are 18 holes of mini-golf. The game was fun, and was just challenging enough to have fun yet be competitive. I will say that this is NOT elderly, or handicap friendly. There are steep drops, rocks, roots, and a lot of maneuvering to do. The best part is the homemade ice cream sandwich afterward! We had a PB blast, which was very good!

    Beautiful night for mini golf!

I just visited Forsythe for the first time since I was little. It was so nostalgic! We used to go when we were younger and always joked about how hard the mini golf course was. Going as an adult I can confirm....it's still hard! What a great place for a fun and cheap night out. It's only $7 to play and free parking on site. People of all ages love it here. If you get it in the last hole (#19), you win a free game! My family and I will definitely be back.

The service here was quick and friendly! This is a really great mini golf course that uses the landscape to its advantage. The course is fun and challenging for kids and adults, alike. It's definitely a unique course! It may be a little difficult for someone with mobility issues to play golf here, unfortunately. The course is in a quiet area and had really pretty lighting when it got dark. A round of golf was not super expensive (around $7 or $8 a person). The ice cream was also delicious and only $5.50 each sandwich! Overall, a very cute and fun place to visit!

There is Carnegie park next to mini golf. The golfing area is covered in trees and you feel like you're out in the woods camping.

My friend and I took my three daughters here to play mini golf and have some ice cream. This was our first time here with the girls. My friend is a seasoned patron. There were five of us total, so first off again we were first timers. Second, being first timers, we slowed everyone up behind us due to group size and learning the game. We were courteous and would move over and allow other groups to go ahead of us. We had such a great time here. We got out on a warm day and forgot about anything else other than having a good time. We had ice cream afterwards, which the kids loved. We sat off the opposite side of the ice cream stand from where you play golf. It's a nice little seating area with picnic tables, covered in trees. I highly recommend this little establishment if you're looking for some wholesome fun. We will definitely be coming here again and again.

Forsythe Mini Golf adds little extra bonuses to your mini golf experience! The courses are very unique, some with extra bonuses if you complete the given task. I thought that some of the courses were more difficult than others, but that's what the fun is all about! There is a bonus 19th hole where you can try for your chance at a free game. We had a fun time and it looked like families around us were also enjoying their evening.

This mini-golf course is both fun, and challenging. The unique terrain & topography adds a unique twist to playing, and unlike most mini-golf courses, this one is not built on a flat surface, but in a wooded valley. Also, there are signs on certain holes that give you additional challenges for that particular hole. I highly recommend this course, and look forward to coming back and playing again some time soon. Now we get to the second part of the review ....... ICE CREAM SANDWICHES!!!! You gotta try Forsythe's home-made ice cream sandwiches, as they are wonderfully divine. I will certainly have one again next time I come back to play mini-golf .... Big Cheers!!!!! P.S. The staff here is wonderful, friendly, and enthusiastic. Very good people here!

I took my neighbor here for a round of mini golf after recently attending a YELP event at this same place. While the course is challenging the walkways are not let alone climbing over the barrier to the tee off area where you are starting to play that hole. My neighbor had knee replacement surgery some time ago and I had to hold her hand often to keep her from falling on some of the holes. You can of course play "outside" the green of the hole you are facing but with a challenging course it's best to play inside. I myself, was the one to fall on a loose rock near the putting area somewhere around hole #5 but can't exactly recall which one since it was in the first valley. The course uses the natural terrain to make it more challenging and if you are just playing for fun and laughs then keeping score is a mute point. Hole #19 is one of the most tricky because you have to swing the ball into a pipe in order to win a free game. Since it is highly sloped you need to aim and swing properly. Neither of us won but had fun regardless. After the game we both stopped for their famous ice cream sandwiches. The cookies are made from scratch by the owner Christie. They use Hershey's ice cream as a filling. You can purchase either a premade one or build one from scratch for the same price. The two of us sat down at one of the tablecovered picnic tables in the back to enjoy our treats. As always they were very good. They have a nice deck in the back overlooking the property and using the natural terrain to create things such as a weathervane on a tree stump adds a personal touch. I spoke to Christie's husband about my injury after the game and he told me that they do take steps to improve the safety of the grounds and will check out the area where I stumbled and fell. My injuries were minor but yet I feel they need to improve the walkways throughout the course to make it more family friendly and safer. They have a very small parking lot which I would imagine gets crowded at night. Game prices are very reasonable for the challenging course you get to play. Located on Forsythe Street in Carnegie, it sits next to Carnegie Park and is an easy drive to the parkway west.
