This review for Matt is long overdue. I use Yelp quite a bit, especially when I'm planning a trip…read moreto find some yummy food places, but I just don't sit down to write reviews for businesses that I've used/been to very often. I've had personal training with Matt about once a week/once every 2 weeks for a few years when he used to live in Orange County. The only reason why I stopped was due to scheduling when I was planning my wedding, and then I just never picked up traditional working out again after that. Let me just say, Matt is the real deal, especially if you're looking into getting into shape when you don't have much knowledge about fitness at all. He is such a good trainer and will break down everything and make sure you're doing all of the exercises well to target the muscles that each exercise is targeting. Matt was one of the trainers that my ROLFer, Jennifer Soon, referred me to. After looking into each one, for some reason, I gravitated towards reaching out to Matt. I am SOO glad I did. He started me off with exercises to get my core strength, which is actually the basis of everything. Every time I talk about the correct way of doing a certain exercise, or a certain exercise that would target a certain area that my husband would bring up, I always start the sentence with "Matt had me do...", because he was just that good that his exercises are still engrained in me after all of these years! At the time I was training with Matt, he was working in conjunction with my ROLFer so that he can target certain areas that she felt that I needed to work on to fix my posture. That dual-teamwork helped me out with my posture, as well as my strength and overall physique. I'm so thankful to have had the chance to train with Matt. One day I will get back into working out again using his routines that he wrote down for me, The one thing I regret not doing while he was still here in Orange County was to take swimming lessons with him, since I don't know how to swim, and that would be a beneficial skill to learn. Overall, I'd highly recommend Matt for training. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to talk to!

It's a commitment for sure but worth it for peace of mind should your kid find themselves in a dangerous water situation. Michelle is gentle with the children and puts them at ease immediately. Michelle gains their trust and helps them work on believing in themselves and their abilities. She works with each unique kid and I feel lucky to have caught the end of lessons with other kids ranging from baby age (amazing watching them orientate themselves and float solo) as well as older kids. Worth every dime when I see my 6 and 3 year olds able to jump in the water, swim and float by themselves, get themselves to the side of the pool when necessary and out for safety.

Our little guy learned so much in such a short amount of time and is now able to flip and float on his own! He has always enjoyed playing in water, which made us happy...and a bit nervous. We have an in-ground pool at our home and while we take as many precautions as possible, we know it's possible that he could get in the water (here or somewhere else) without someone noticing. We are so thankful and forever grateful for the this opportunity for him build skills that could help him survive in that worst case scenario. Highly recommend A+++
