Always clean, in good condition, and normally people have been great at sharing during busier times! Hot tub is great with plenty of space! I also like the warmer pool which is wonderful on my joints and not as hot as the hot tub. Perfect balance and lots of space for all ages. The lifeguards have always been great and make sure kids are safe and have the right wristbands based on their swimming abilities. Lots of workout equipment, all in good condition! Definitely not substandard equipment. I've never seen all the treadmills in use, and half of them aren't closed all the time like other places. The only machines I wish they would add are SkiErg machines! I appreciate the weights and how nice the other people at the gym have been. Very supportive and patient! I have not used a trainer yet but am considering it! The utilities have always been clean. Sure. The showers need a little extra clean, but nothing super gross or black moldy. I do wish they had dressing rooms separate from the showers, but I'll survive! My favorite thing is the staff. SUPER FRIENDLY, each and every one, and that's very special. Always greeted when I come in and always a farewell on my way out. Fabulous staff! We also can't wait to go out to the outdoor poor soon!

I notice the pool water is checked hourly and there are plenty of lifeguards. Some fixtures in the locker room are a little old style, but so what. They work and some better than newer ones Ive seen in other places. I love the sauna and equipment rooms. They have a lot of treadmills stair steppers and rowing machines. Teachers are available if I have questions. There is a plethora of classes! Even Qi gong- theres exercise dance, yoga, senior fit, strengthening, weight lifting yoga etc A lot of seniors are here and Im loving making new friends with active people my age. Ive been a member for only two months and my body definately stronger and Im sleeping better. I now have days when I feel fantastic and not just okay. I make it a point to go work out 3-4 times a week. Also theres a basketball court and other games. Im so glad I joined! Thank you YMCA staff- keep up the good work!

She coaches with kindness and encouragement, and she puts in extra time to find new drills for me that target my weaknesses. I signed my kids up with the expectation that they would get introduced to being in the water and safe while doing so! My kids are 11.5 and 4.5 years old ,for age references. The first day, we checked in at the front desk and were verified for both kids. Next, we were briefed on how the facility worked. When I say brief I mean, 5 minutes. I was told if I had questions to ask. I ended up asking about the flippers for my daughter because when I thought about everything was explained based on only my son. My daughter is tall for her age but it is quite clear that she's a child. The reason I'm mentioning this is because once they both got into the pool with the instructor, I was asked how old was she. She heard me explaining and became embarrassed. As for my son, he's your typical 4.5 year old, full of energy and he also doesn't have pool experience. Now the instructor was nice and doing her best with 4 kids to teach, but I feel when you have newbies and you have to physically walk through each part one by one, what do you do when the other kids are on the sideline? In theory the kids should wait their turn but, what if one decided just to jump in before or anything unexpected like that and your back is turned? What can happen in a short amount of time to a non swimmer. The whole ordeal made me very nervous and uneasy! I decided to address my concerns, after speaking with my partner with management. Please know that you won't get an answer over the phone. It's so very frustrating! I did leave a voicemail and received a call 24 hours later, so I went to speak to someone in person prior to the next lesson. Management gave me a good solution I thought to my issues. I was able to separate my kids and have my youngest that I was more concerned with in the water take a private lesson. Additional funds was not mentioned to me. We get there for the lesson for my oldest and management approaches me again during the lesson to tell me that if I want to continue the private lesson it would be an additional $89 per day. Well, no I don't want to do that. The other option was to bring my youngest back to the original scheduled lesson and a water watcher would be standing there to ensure nothing went on with the kids on the sideline during the 30 minute session. Didn't happen! Today, my kids asked me to not make them go back and to try somewhere else. I feel so badly about this for my kids. I was hoping for a very positive outcome for us with swimming lessons. I didn't expect them to come out being great swimmers but at least enjoying the water more. I don't recommend this place to teach your kids how to swim, maybe help with techniques based off what I witnessed with other participants. I mean unless your kids have some swimming experience or you just want something for them to do.

My 2 year old for the first couple weeks wanted nothing to do with lessons. Miss Nathalia and Miss Hannah came up with a plan to help him become more comfortable getting in the water. He now, along with his older brother, look forward to swim class! I am feeling much more confident for their safety at home in our own pool, and love the fact they are actually learning to swim. The team here is incredible! Their encouragement, attention to each participant, and overall ability to make learning fun is so great to watch. I can't recommend this swim school enough!

For private lessons, we expected a more thoughtful instructor match--especially given our son's high energy level. A stricter, more experienced teacher would have been far more appropriate, but that never happened. There were no clear goals, milestones, or timeline communicated for when progress should be expected or when he might advance to the next level. It felt less like skill-building and more like unstructured "play time." If the intention is simply fun and entertainment, that's something we could achieve by visiting a resort or renting a private pool elsewhere. This program may work for families with an unlimited budget who aren't concerned about measurable progress, but for us, the lack of accountability and clear expectations made it hard to justify continuing.

Ashli made it fun and boosted their confidence in the water. now my 5 year old is diving off the side of the pool and can swim from side to side. our 3 year old can jump, go under water and swim to the side of the pool without assistance and no floaties. In just 4 weeks they have made so much progress and it's all thanks to Ashli. I highly recommend her
