Dr. Jones and his staff is amazing. My husband called me in a panic that he thinks he either has a broken rib or a dislocated rib. Being that he doesn't have health insurance I jumped on yelp and started finding a chiropractor that offers x-rays. Dr. Jones' office offered a Groupon that included x-rays and called them and they were able to squeeze him in that day and understood the urgency. The tech was so great in chatting with us and keeping us laughing (despite the pain he was in). The front desk was so kind and Dr. Jones was awesome. He helped my husband lie down and popped his rib back into place and also helped with his headaches too. I'm also a big fan of Dr. Jones because he doesn't want to prescribe pain but is an advocate for CBD oil which I feel is very important in he medical industry. Dr. Jones and his staff is wonderful. I tried to demonstrate that chiropractic work was BS. I had a disk fusion in 2001 from a herniated disk between C6 & C7. I read that many patients had other disk failures within 10 years, so in 2005 I visited Dr. Jones at Lone Star Chiropractic for an initial examination. I was extremely skeptical about chiropractic care, but I did not want to go under the knife again either. Long story GREATLY abbreviated I had discs above and below my fusion nearly failing (one was 2MM and the other beveled from 1.5MM down to .5MM, normal thickness is 4-5MM). By my first re-exam those problems had largely been corrected. For as long as I can remember I have had chronic headaches (to the tune of 3+ per week) and lower back problems. Since beginning treatments with Dr. Jones I get fewer than 3 headaches per year and have not "thrown out" my back for years. I have now been going to Lone Star Chiropractic for 12+ consecutive years. Dr. Jones has always been friendly, knowledgeable and very skilled. I have made significant improvements in my health and have had several chronic problems remedied that I had experienced for my entire life. I absolutely believe that without Dr. Jones' intervention I would have had another disc failure, but with his continued care I have a better back at 38 than I did when I was 20. I would strongly recommend to any reader you go in for at least an initial evaluation. Don't wait until a fusion is your only option. I found Dr. Jones through Groupon. The groupon deal was honored fully with the first consultation free. It was a thorough exam with xrays. His manipulation techniques are more gentle than other chiros I've been too and I appreciated that actually. I really enjoyed my two visits to this office. The office is beautiful and organized and Dr. Jones is very friendly and provides a lot of very good information even in the first two visits. However, I am a little off-put and upset and will probably not be back. After my initial consultation, I was really excited to start treatment and start feeling better. I've been having issues for several years and was really looking forward to it. I was presented with a treatment plan that I could not afford. That was not what upset me though. I left embarrassed and upset (and even cried a little) because when I told the receptionist that none of the options worked with my wallet and asked if there was any other way, I could read the look on her face and it said "well thats too bad, bye." Well, that was pretty much the end of my appointment, I just kind of got up and left, speechless, absolutely mortified and in tears. I understand that finances get tricky in medical offices, but there has got to be a way to work with patients in a way that is not intimidating or makes them feel bad upon leaving. read more

I bought a groupon to get an evaluation here about a year ago, because I was in a lot of pain all the time. I've been in a monthly program since and can really feel the difference and I always look forward to my appointments. I work retail so my hours are all over the place, but they have fantastically worked around it every single time. The facility is clean and welcoming and everyone who works here is friendly and caring. I feel welcomed and very well cared for - and would recommend this place to anyone. Dr Jones is a talented and caring doctor. I have never had a more comprehensive exam than the one I received in his office, and his adjustments are the most gentle (while still feeling effective) that I have received as well! Recently I was in a high velocity automobile collision and never felt so stiff in my life. Dr Jones and staff are top notch in every way! From explaining why I'm feeling the way I'm feeling, to being incredibly accommodating to my schedule. I have on numerous occasions needed to add a last minute appointment due to not wanting to ache until my next appointment, and was able to come in in within an hour. As for adjustments I can't rate Dr Jones high enough. He is able to feel my pain with his fingers(literally) and provide instant relief. WOW! After struggling with shoulder pain for several years, Dr. Jones expertise has helped me to finally feel better. He did a comprehensive exam including full body X-rays, a thermal scan, and a neurological scan to pinpoint exactly what was wrong with my shoulder/back, explaining everything very clearly to me. Further, I have been amazed at his knowledge- he has effectively answered every question I've asked whether about anatomy, injury, physical therapy exercises at home, and so on. He and his staff are also very friendly, he takes time with each client but gets through appointments quickly, and provides free informational brochures and movies to watch about chiropractic, your specific issues, and general health. I used my AmazonLocal deal here but was adamant that I wouldn't let them pressure me into service, which is what I'd heard lots of chiropractors did. I went into lone star chiropractic this morning hopeful an optimistic. I am a retail store manager so I am on my feet constantly and also skateboard so I have some occasional back pain, but nothing critical or ongoing. Had some time off while taking family leave for the birth of my daughter so I thought I might just get a good pop in to get me through til January when it slows down and I've got more time to get corrected. So they told me with my blue cross blue shield insurance the co-pay for the day would be $25, they said I would just be getting x-rays done today and next visit they would go over x-rays with me. So my mood dropped, I've Been to chiropractors before that charge me $15, pop my back and tell me to come back when I am able (great) I've also had one that lurked, called me repeatedly to come back in his office repeatedly and told me I would be plagued with chronic back pain unless I continued his "revolutionary" methods. Also charged $25 each visit for doing squat. I told the receptionist I was no longer interested, she told me they could see me later in the day to go over X-rays and perhaps pop my back... Ok, fine well I guess that's worth $25. So I forfeited the co-pay, got X-rays in the small rundown offices and left. I came back at three sat in a small room and watched a poorly made movie from the 90's with kids eating ice cream sandwiches and rowers to explain what creates severe back pain since they obviously couldn't spend the time with me to skip it and just tell me what applies to me. So finally the doctor came in to show me what he thought was wrong with me from the xrays and forgot to mention my legs being different lengths. He went on to say I'd need to come back 2-3 times a week for the first month or two, then 1-2 times a week, then less and less as time goes on. I told him with my job I don't have time for that, so he started tweaking his plan, saying I wouldn't have to pay the full co-pay each time and that I won't get better otherwise. So I got frustrated. He popped my back, got 4/6 correct, missing two attempts, and kept saying yes, just $25 today for the adjustment, so I'm thinking yeah, I already paid $25 so I'm covered... Anyways at leaving they stopped me and said I still owed $25, I told them "no, I already paid" and they corrected me saying that just covered my x-rays, and the adjustment was $25. Which figures why they didn't charge me until the end, because I wouldnt have returned. If I could rate these kooks at 0 I would have. read more

I have been going to Dr. Jones for coming up on almost a year now and I have seen such amazing results I can't even believe it. I was having neck, back, and shoulder pains that just got to be so bad that even monthly or bi-monthly massages stopped making a difference. I'm baffled over the bad review I read because he must have been confused. Dr. Jones' offices are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and professional. The reality about chiropractic care is that maintenance is necessary to keep your back in proper alignment. I went regularly for my first year. Now I do monthly maintenance. When I have had to miss because of travel or illness, my back starts bothering me, and he always pinpoints exactly where the problem exists. He is interested, concerned and always willing to give me explanations about every aspect of the care he is providing. I was a huge skeptic in the beginning about chiropractic care in general, but now am a firm believer in Dr. Jones' skill and abilities. I had a coupon for a first visit but got a lot of pressure from the young woman at the front desk to give her my insurance information.... not ok. It was supposed to be free. I needed a chiropractor because I had lower back pain. I got a very thorough exam and had a thermal scan that gave me an impressive printout....however I was there because I was in pain and had to beg for an adjustment that day. Initially I was told "Oh we don't do those on the first visit"?? "You need to make another apt and we are booked out a week". Seriously? The doctor took pity on me and did a a partial adjustment. I got just a little relief. But I was told that I would need to go for a ton of regular visits in order to feel better. Sorry nope. read more

Firstly, I didn't even get to the see the chiropractor because I wasn't able to get that far. I purchased a Groupon deal for this business and I was excited because of the good ratings and promise. I called for two days straight, there was no answer. When I finally did get an answer a rude receptionist told me she was unable to schedule me because she was just a receptionist. I would get a call back in about an hour from their appointment scheduler. 4 hours later and no call back I decided to give them yet another ring. This time they scheduled me. The day of my appointment several hours before i had a family emergency and called the business to reschedule the appointment. They suddenly didn't have availability for a month in a half. I explained I would be at a police academy for the next six months but the person I spoke to on the phone told me it wasn't their problem. A Groupon refund later and I'm writing this review. When I first limped in to Dr. Jones' office eleven months ago, I had a debilitating case of sciatica. Some days I had so much pain that I could barely walk. I came in because I saw a coupon that included X-rays, an exam and other diagnostic tests. I'd been to see another chiropractor, and had a few adjustments, but couldn't get relief that lasted more than a day or two. I knew that a full diagnostic exam was what I needed, as an adjustment here and there just wasn't doing the trick. The thing that really worked for me was that Dr. Jones got me to see the big picture. I had one hip that was much higher than the other, and a bit of scoliosis as well; that plus a whole lot of stress was what caused all that pain. He got me to understand that this would be a long-term healing process. He didn't just adjust me; he got me on a *program* even set up a payment plan that made it easier for me to come in as much as I needed to when I was first recovering from the sciatica. It didn't take long for the sciatica to be gone- maybe a month or two at most! But the fact that I was on a plan to make the pain *stay* gone, kept me coming back. At first I had to get adjustments 3x a week. After seven months I only need to be adjusted once every 2-3 weeks. Now I'm down to once a month. I'm not finished healing yet, but I haven't limped in several months and I'm developing muscles that didn't get used properly when my hips were out of alignment. I walk with ease now, and I can even run for very short distances, yea! I'm grateful that I found Dr. Jones office, it has literally gotten me on my feet again :-) read more

Not professional.. old school desperately needs upgrade. Not impressed at all besides the location was close to where I eat for lunch. What a waste of money and time.
