We explained our concerns and issues with past chiropractic and they instantly put us at ease by letting us know we would be the navigator in our treatment. Some chiropractors in Austin are overly preachy and judgmental about Western medicine, and even encouraging me not to vaccinate my children. You won't encounter this attitude at Williams. Jason and Garrett are reasonable, friendly, skilled, but most importantly - extremely intelligent and gentle. They find great ways to work within your current medical routines to help you heal and feel your best without the guilt or painful adjustments that leave you feeling worse than you did. This practice is the cream of the crop as far as my family is concerned. We are patients for life. It's definitely a place where it is safe to ask questions and work together with the practitioners to achieve better health. They treat us with respect and sensitive, personalized care. I'm 26 years old. I travel a lot for work and my travel schedule this fall was extremely busy. I strained my lower back carrying all that luggage around and was desperate for a chiropractor. I can assure that it will be one of the best decisions you've made. I'll tell you why... I'm a chronic pain client with a history of trauma so male doctors and I do not mesh well. I read some reviews and decided that Dr. Williams was worth taking a chance on. Fast forward almost a year later and I still see him. I have never felt so safe, well cared for and prioritized in my life. He greets each client with a smile and makes your health & wellness his priority. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Williams and his staff. I have had terrible sciatic and pelvic pain during my pregnancy. Dr. Williams has helped me tremendously. I have been going to his office at least once (sometimes even twice) a week since my second trimester and it has made a world of difference. Doc Williams is the best chiropractor I've been to. He is very knowledgable. I took a picture of a list of problems, see photo. I have 9 out of 12 symptoms. The only things I don't have is migraines, scoliosis and chronic ear infections, but I had everything else, ie. neck pain, sciatic pain, numbness & tingling, shoulder, elbow & wrist pain, hip, knee, ankle pain, low back pain, pinched nerves, muscle spasms, sleeping difficulties. The first time I went to his office, I had fallen out of the bathtub and landed on the side of my head. My neck was bent so far, I thought I broke my neck. I had already had pinched nerves on every vertebrae except C1 and I thought for sure, I would have at least 6 months of on going therapy. Doc Williams's office gave me a Groupon and I got acupuncture, x-rays, spinal manipulation, and a some spinal and neck therapy on a really cool table that moves every vertebrae from my neck to my tailbone. I am not a really good patient because I don't do everything the Doc recommended. I was suppose to come twice a week for a while; once a week for a few months; and then once a month for some time. I only went twice a week once, once a week for about 4 weeks, and a very spotty once a month. This was not his recommendation, but his treatment was so profound that I felt good after the first time I saw him. Although it appeared that I ignored his recommendations, he was always very positive, accepting and willing to help in whatever way that fit my schedule. I never felt chastised or uncomfortable after leaving his office. He's just a really nice man. I highly recommend Williams Wellness Center, Doc Williams, in particular. The office staff is fantastic! Very understanding and agreeable. I have been seeing chiropractors since 1998. Doc Williams is the one to try first. It will save you a LOT of time and money! read more

I bought a Groupon and came in for some ongoing tingling in two fingers. Two adjustments and acupuncture later and I had relief, and after a third treatment it was gone completely and hasn't returned. I've been seeing chiros for 30+ years, and am an AVID fan of acupuncture, but I was extremely hesitant about someone who could do both. Usually chiropractors suck at doing acupuncture. Boy was I wrong. From the very first acupuncture treatment I could tell he was good because he immediately found those spots where the "chi" was strongest, meaning he knew how deep to insert it to release the energy in that channel and he picked the spots where it would do the most good. When you've been doing it as long as I have and as much, you can tell when somebody knows their stuff right away. Like I said, I was shocked to discover how good he was. Before my Groupon of four treatments had expired, I had already booked a series of 18 treatments just because I knew he would be really good for me for some longer-term stuff. In the time that I've been going (I'm about halfway through) he's eliminated several headaches while still in his office that have never returned, he's eliminated the occasional lower back spasms I've had, he help me clear up some sinus congestion, he reduced some heavy stress I was carrying due to deaths in my family, and he removed the bricks I was carrying in my neck from working 10 hour days on my laptop. He's an absolute genius. I can honestly say at this point - despite all my previous years of chiropractic care and acupuncture - whatever he recommends I'm going to do because he has been so spot-on and everything he's accomplished with me. I've visited Dr. Williams twice now and have begun to feel relief from my TMJ. I've suffered for decades, not knowing I could get my jaw adjusted & recieve acupuncture for this issue. OMG, game changer! For those of you who suffer from TMJ you may know about the dreaded "Z" that your jaw does when you open it and the tension headaches. I've had two adjustments and I can almost open and close it normally. The stifness is half way gone and the muscles around my face the same. It will be a process, and I'm ok with that. It's worth it. I started seeing Dr Williams in May. I've been to chiropractors for many years now for chronic pain in my hip, but no one has been able to help me as much as Dr Williams has. I also had a pinched nerve in my shoulder, unable to sleep or do much of anything with my left arm. Dr Williams listened to me and took great care in treating me and had me back to as good as new in no time! Because of the great care I have had with Dr Williams, I referred my husband to him for a pinched nerve in his ulna. General Practitioners told my husband that it would require surgery to repair. It's so second nature for him and he's pleasant and really caring. He always makes me smile before I leave and that's doing something when I go in sometimes in really bad shape. When I first saw him I was in too much pain to handle an adjustment. That's when I found out all the other things he can do to alleviate pain. Wow. We're well into adjustments now (another area that continues to surprise me after years of seeing other chiropractors off and on) and I can move again. Dr. Williams is so calm, kind and very good at what he does. We have been taking the whole family (6 of us) to see him every week or two for a few years now. The kids notice if we are overdue for adjustments and ask when we are going. It's especially helpful for the older kids in high school band with all the stress they are under. I love that it's so easy to text in for same day appointments if an acute injury happens and I need to get in quickly. I have wished they had a few business hours on Fridays, but otherwise I only have lavish praise for the practice. I highly recommend asking him about a regular plan for the whole family! I stumbled on Dr. Williams through a groupon a few months back -- I'd never tried chiropractic or acupuncture before, but after four or five years of living with carpal tunnel, things were starting to get pretty rough, so I figured I'd give Dr. Williams a shot. At my first visit, Dr. Williams was telling me carpal tunnel was something that would more than likely require some regular treatment, at least to start off, so I was already feeling a little iffy on how much of a commitment I wanted to make, on top of the iffiness I was already feeling about acupuncture and needles in general, but then he gave me an adjustment and let me try both the needle and needle-less acupuncture treatments -- not only was it really not painful and not all that bad, but the pain in my wrists, arms, and hands had gone down almost immediately after that treatment. So I went ahead and booked another appointment. I'm now about two months down the road from my first visit, and my symptoms are incredibly minimal now. Before I went, I was using those store-bought wrist braces with the metal splints on both arms for a couple hours a day and all through the night on a daily basis. I honestly haven't used those braces once since I've been going for chiropractic. I do get spots every now and then where my wrists or my elbows will hurt and feel really tense, but it's not at all gotten to the point where it had been. Plus, it's been very rare that that pain comes along, and when it does, it only lasts a couple minutes as opposed to a couple hours. On top of treating my carpal tunnel, Dr. Williams has adjusted my back, my neck (I just have really bad posture all around, not gonna lie), and given me occasional acupuncture treatments for allergies and general stress/anxiety at no. extra. cost. I have literally been telling everyone I know about him for weeks, and while apparently all of them are as still as leery and uncomfortable about chiropractic and/or acupuncture as I was, you probably shouldn't wait. Those brace thingies are not a long term solution, and Dr. Williams is nice, knowledgeable, funny, and beyond reasonably-priced. read more
