His personable demeanor helped to initiate a conversation that revealed to me that he was a private investigator. At the urging of my friend, I related to David the story of my estranged nephew that I had not seen in more than 30 years and had no luck finding him. I had pretty much given up. Speaking with David reignited my desire to search for him again. As expected, David offered his services. What was unexpected was what followed.
