From the moment we walked in without an appointment , I felt welcomed and at ease. Dr. Mabry was incredibly patient and gentle with my senior dog. Bo hadn't been feeling well, Dr. Mabry listened to my concerns. He took the time to thoroughly examine Bo. Then he explained all of my options and answer all of my questions. Bo was in serious but stable condition. Bo needed immediate attention, the staff was incredibly compassionate and caring during a difficult time. They went above and beyond to ensure my Bo was comfortable and well taken care of. My first visit was due to having to put my dog down. Then the girl, (maybe the vet tech) obviously didn't believe us when we told her our large dog couldn't walk because she kept trying to pull him up. My husband and I both told her twice that he had lost his ability to walk. We get in the room and she's just pushing him around not being gentle at all. He's already scared, we are already emotional and our experience at this place 10 min in is horrible. To top it off the room was absolutely disgusting. We did opt for the cremation service and whoever provided that did a wonderful job. However when I went to pick him up the girl at the front told me she would be with me in a few (no one was in the waiting room or at the front desk) so I patiently waited for her to finish up. All the while she carrying on a conversation with 2 other workers. It took another worker walking out from the back to ask if I had been helped for the girl at the front to help me. Bottom line this place is disgusting and the staff is rude and not caring or compassionate. If you are able to avoid giving them your business most definitely do so. I will say the vet was very nice and compassionate and that's about all the good I have to say.

I think everyone should be upset with them holding medication ransom to treat a $2.00 sick chicken, demanding a $85 dollar fee even before the cost of the medication. It's claimed I berated their receptionist wit profanity when actually I was berating the situation. The receptionist took it upon herself to to become offended at me being upset. After I canceled an upcoming appointment telling them I would take my business elsewhere. I received a return call where I was told I was no longer welcome there with my other Animals (that they have received THOUSANDS of dollars for treating in the past two years) as if they are on some type of higher moral grounds with their demonstration of fake compassion and empathy for MONEY. So the takeaway from all this is to understand there is no loyalty points or frequent user awards given here if you show you're a real person and get upset or see their act for what it is - they will simply let your animals die rather than care for them. In addition if they can survive and be fine without the thousands and thousands of dollars I spend there annually, they obviously don't need your money either. Apparently they have pulled the wool over enough people eyes and hold enough medication for ransom from sick animals to keep them in the $$$ for quite some time. Unfortunately, the needless death of Bloomers the chicken is inevitable. Ironically, I doubt the needless death of Bloomers will have near the emotional effect on their receptionist as one of their customers getting upset. They may need to relearn to fake their understanding and compassion to include the fact that people get angry and upset at times. Beware! you are being recorded and they will threaten to use those recording to attempt undermining any negative review. Perhaps be aware of any other undisclosed recording devices being used at this establishment, you just never know.

They cut all the hair on his ears and the cut the puff ball on this head . They said his ears were Tangled I was so shocked to see his ears like that that a didn't even realize they had cut the puff ball on his head . (( poor baby looks like Dobby on Harry Potter ))) any way Then when I got there they said I should maybe have him clip every month because of his age .So I asked that they would charge for upkeep to do it every month and she said the it would be the same price. $48 cash only . .no I'll be looking for another place .

My guy heff went to another groomer who said he was "nipping" they immediately had to stop his…read moregrooming after less then 2 seconds. When I contacted candy pet palace and told her what the other groomer said, she said she was more then willing to work with heff. The treatment that we received from candy pet palace was more then amazing. Heff never once nipped at them, and this is because they know what they are doing and gave heff time to warm up to them and paid extra attention to him. They took time to make sure he calmed down and was comfortable with everything. I'm so extremely happy with how heffs hair cut, bath, nail trim, just over all everything went. We will be using them everytime for heff and our other dog until my husband gets orders for somewhere else.
