I went there with the sole intention of just asking how she does her knit stitches and purls and after helping out the customer she was with, sat down with me, showed me in detail and slowly walked me through it for free, AND on top of doing all that out of the kindness of her own heart she gave me a bunch of sewing needles,circular needles, yarn, and crochet hooks that were donated to her store. I told her I had brought about 20 of these bags to the previous owners of the store and never had any sloppy issues like this. It's a smallish space, but well-curated. Some items were not priced; I asked one staff member the price; then another wanted to charge me nearly twice the amount at the register... This kind of dissimulation, intentional or not, is distasteful. Each item should be priced so this doesn't happen. It also saves staff being asked questions.
