The front desk staff was nice and the MAs friendly. They apologized and thanked me when I mentioned that I found a 6 day old urine sample in the restroom. Dr. Glaser was not friendly towards me. My visit was to be a new patient physical. He did not engage or try to get to know me at all. My face to face time with him was less than 10 minutes, and the only thing memorable that he said was that my insurance might not pay for my updated tetanus shot (they did). I went downstairs to do lab work and was there for about 30 minutes when they finally realized that Dr. Glaser did not order lab work because I had done lab work 7 months prior. Fairly certain that lab work is part of a physical...but whatever. I had already made up my mind that this man would not be my new PCP. A PCP should be warm and engaging, and someone who will listen to their patients when they are concerned about something - Dr. Glaser checked none of these boxes. Fast forward a few weeks later to the billing nightmare that followed, my insurance covers an annual physical (including the lab work he wouldn't order) 100%...but the first bill was coded as a new patient appointment, but they left the physical off. So I had to call the office about this...they made my patient responsibility $0 in their system, but then rebilled my insurance company with duplicate charges and overbilled by almost triple. I decided to call BCBS directly since I had yet to find a competent individual to help me at the practice. The insurance rep told me that one of the codes used on the new bill was for a psychiatric evaluation...OMG! I explained the whole situation again, and BCBS filed a grievance and the billing did eventually get situated. I have talked to others who have noticed similar billing issues on their statements from this practice...so definitely watch your EOBs here. Unreported overbilling is sadly something that happens too often in the medical world. I have given up on ever seeing my 7+ years of medical records from my prior PCP. I am fairly certain they went into an abyss of some sort in this Bridlewood office of confusion.

But if you use the Healow app, the docs are pretty quick to respond plus your care needs are documented. I started using Bridlewood, Dr. Glaser and his staff because the last office I was at didn't listen to me. I'm diabetic and trying to find the right medication has been much trial and error but my last office brushed off my errors. So when I first started with Bridlewood, Michelle Hampton heard me and started me on my way to finding what worked. I was sad to lose Victoria Thomas but it was an easy transition back to Michelle and they really do care. I have trouble with getting medication but that's due to my insurance not the office. Michelle and her team have been in constant communication with me and are eager to help where they can. I've had nothing but a pleasant and stress free experience working with the Bridlewood staff. My one complaint would be that I never got an Amazon gift card!

When I read Dr. Haque's reviews , I was impressed but a little concerned about the feedback regarding his staff. I decided to find out for myself and I didn't find a decent doctor ... I found an AMAZING doctor who saved my life AND his office staff are awesome. That little lump was something to worry about because it was cancer. Dr. Haque listened to me , believed me and followed up on my concern . That wasn't the best part.... Once he knew it was cancer, he took complete charge of the situation , presented my options and told me what his preference was. THAT is what I want to hear from my doctor. He was assertive and in control of the situation . I loved that because I went to an expert and I didn't have an opinion ( otherwise I'd be an endocrinologist ) and he had my opinion for me. Through the whole process of surgery and RAI, this doctor called me regularly to check on my progress even though another surgeon he recommended, did my surgery. The surgeon, Dr. Garner also told me that Dr. Haque remains engaged with his patients so if he told me to do something different to what she told me ---- to go ahead and do what he says ... lol. He remained involved and engaged and at all times I knew, I was in good hands . I don't know what I don't know but he took charge and for that , my family and I are truly grateful. If you are looking for a touchy feely guy who will wipe away your tears - this is not your kind of doctor . His caring and comfort comes from providing outstanding medical care - making sure he does the best he can to make you well again. I suggest a therapist for the hand holding stuff. This medical professional scores high points with me and I would have NO hesitation recommending him to anyone. He has a great PA and his nurse Jessica is the absolute best. She is a little quirky and has a highly developed sense of humor. If you are the kind of person that doesn't enjoy that , just ask her to tone it down. I love it so I encourage it. This office has always returned my calls and been responsive to my questions . They have been kind and supportive through my recent challenges and I'm not the easiest patient . I'm rebellious and I have attitude and Dr. Haque and his team have gently worked to make me whole again. Lastly, this is not a doctor who will ask for your opinion - why should he ? He gets paid to have my opinion for me when it comes to my health. I have no problem recommending you entrust your health to him. As for all the blah about his office staff - not true - they are great. Hope you visit Dr. Haque and hope he helps make you healthy. The only problem I have with him is that he expects me to keep a record of my blood sugar. Hmmmm he hadn't quite figured out I only take it when I'm being good . They take care of you from the moment you arrive at check-in until you leave. They are pretty timely with on-time appointments. My most recent visit was great. Susan at the front desk was very friendly and professional. Shante took my vitals and checked my blood sugar and updated my medication list. I've been in a research program with an insulin pump device and have been trained by Sadia and kept on regularly scheduled check-ins and phone calls. She's so friendly and patient. Dr. Haque and Aimee listen to me and offers recommendations to help me succeed as a person loving with diabetes. As I was leaving, Rachel and Edith helped me to schedule my next appointment and print out my lab orders for my next visit. I love this office and this team of professionals! I had called and no one would pick up, so I had no choice but to drive up there after just getting out of the hospital and in severe pain. I then went in circles with the admin team, which was a little bit more helpful.But the insurance company told them exactly what they needed to do.In order to fix my referral, but they seemed to be lost and confused even admitting other patients have had the same problem but yet they wouldn't fix it. Weeks later still going in circles with the doctor's office, not only calling multiple times a day, but leaving messages with no respond back, i receive a letter that they're no longer providing care for me and that I need to look for a new pcp. i came to talk to Dr. Chandi waiting over hour for her to meet me in the waiting room, i asked if she would like to sit and if she had a minute what she said she did but then all of a sudden she needed to run out she had somebody waiting on her and stood there. I just wanted to address that there might be people with serious problems that need help and need answers and that somebody should answer the phone, because when I call multiple times and no one responds is a problem and Im sure orher patients are experiencing the same thing. She responds well you shouldn't be calling that many times because i'm holding up the phone for other patients.I said, well, at least somebody should be answer one of those thirty some odd calls. However they tend to distract causes that patients have prepared and it results in revisit or call back where it is hard to reach doctor quickly. Mrs. Dr. Kim looks over confident with her treatment style. She and her partner Mr. Kim seem to forget basics as clinical functions. Moreover staffs have serious problems. No communication each other and billing / charging team are very unprofessional with big mistakes they have made. And they allegedly no longer accept medicaid and medicare. Note. They grew to this BIG level of business with many help of Korean patients who needed supports from language barrier but it's hard to expect quality of medical service now.

However the office staff were DREADFUL. They attacked me when I got in for not filling out paperwork ahead of time - that I had repeatedly called to let them know I hadn't gotten. They didn't give me the right instructions for how I needed to prepare for the visit. I came in for a physical and the doctor set up an appointment to go over my test results. There was an issue with my insurance and instead of calling my insurance or finding a solution I was yelled at by a billing person who couldn't give me information. I was told I couldn't get my test results without paying $180 for the first appointment and $89 for the phone appointment. She refused to resubmit my claim to insurance even when I had the EOB that said that's exactly what to do - and other providers have been able to do. The hassle of the incompetent office staff is not worth the sweet doctor - go elsewhere literally anywhere else is better.

So we thought we'd try Baylor Scott and White because our chiropractor specifically highly recommended Dr Beau Ellenbecker to us. We could not be more pleased with Dr Ellenbecker!!! He is down to earth and very knowledgeable! His breadth of expertise in all areas of medicine are incredible and his bedside manner is calm and reassuring! Their website is so easy to check on results, make appointments and even chat with Dr Ellenbecker. And Dr Ellenbecker, or one of his staff are very quick to reply to any questions or concerns. Most of all, Dr Ellenbecker is so nice and down to earth. He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain all my questions and concerns. His polite and calming bedside manner is such a relief compared to other doctors who are more concerned with the bottom line, rather than their own patients care and concern. If you want a compassionate, caring and knowledgeable doctor...Dr Ellenbecker is the best!

I have NEVER had a place deny me because I was late. The rude guy continued to say I could be seen at 4pm by their nurse but I said no thanks. He AlSO said "Maybe if I came in at 2pm they could squeeze me in." what do you mean 'squeeze me in' my appointment was at 2!!! I called back to complain and he said "we are not a walk in clinc we are appointment only and you have to be on time." I said so you're telling me everyone is always exactally on time to an appointment? That is a lie. Don't go here, awful just awful.Rude and mean. I reported it to Baylor Corporate. Should be hearing back soon. Will avoid Baylor until then.
