Dr. Higbee is in it for the right reasons. To help people heal. We've gone to him for years but moved to CA a few years ago. We just happened to be in town and I woke up this morning with a pinched nerve and was in pain. We took a chance and called his office to see if he would be able to see me. They got us right in within a half an hour. He adjusted my neck which was super tight and cracked it into place. I'm already noticing a difference in my range of motion and things are calming down. He's a good guy and an honest one too. We can't say enough good about Dr. Higbee! read more

Dr. Higbee and his team are wonderful. I am a recently retired NCAA D1 golfer and my back and hips have suffered from all the years of repetitive motion. He always does high-quality work with his adjustments on me and uses the laser device to help me with inflammation. Additionally, his massage therapist Vivian is incredible. I have been going to her for years as a BYU athlete, but I appreciate her even more now. She gives deliberate pressure on all the right spots, and is very experienced at treating athletes. Her amount of pressure is not for the faint of heart, which is exactly what I need to get results on my back and hips. (I am not a fan of soft, mushy massages.) The clinic itself is cozy and clean, and parking is relatively easy to find. I would definitely recommend this place for chiropractic treatment. read more

I've been treated at this location for years and have already left a good review on google. I happened upon a review on yelp for this business from a person claiming to "not be a Karen" (translated is most likely a Karen) with a horrible 1 star review. Interestingly enough she has multiple bad reviews claiming she's "not a Karen" in those also. I have referred a lot of people to Lonestar chiropractic center. Each one of the many referrals have thanked me profusely for the referral so I thought I would attempt to leave a review to stick up for them. The facility is always clean, staff is always attentive, polite and professional. They always do everything in their power to squeeze me into the schedule when I've waited too long and I'm in pain and "need to be seen right now". They also have a fantastic option for therapeutic messages which is a great option. Having said all of this, look it's in an older building but they keep it very clean ( I've been in there literally hundreds of times) Dr Higbee is awesome and he has never made any of the females I've referred (over 15 of them) feel "uncomfortable" as stated by the "not a Karen" (ok Karen) you can absolutely trust this Dr and his staff. Don't let this Karen steer you away from great quality care. read more

I don't normally leave bad reviews for places or people because I'm not a Karen, but this needs to be said and I don't want anyone to ever go through what I went through. Absolutely do not go here. The worst experience of my life. First off, when I asked the receptionist if he was Webster certified (certified to work on pregnant women) she told me that he did work on pregnant women, so I assumed that meant he was certified. (He clearly was not). After trying to fill out my paperwork, he abruptly stopped me and told me I was fine and then grabbed me by the waist and rushed me into his office. I was extremely uncomfortable. He never introduced himself, didn't even look at any of my paperwork, and never did a consultation with me. He just asked where my pain was and how far along I was. He then had me lay down on a regular table that wasn't made for a pregnant woman. when I laid down the table was disgusting and the face holder had long hair strands and dead skin flakes in it. He took my glasses off my face for me without asking me. He didn't tell me anything he was doing, just started cracking away. He didn't seem to have any professional regard for me as an individual. He then told me pain is just "part of being pregnant" and not much he could do. Had me take a few steps and then said I was good. As I was walking out, he stroked my back and I felt completely violated at that point. He was very careless and unprofessional. If you're thinking about going here, DONT. In fact I would RUN. Never ever coming near this guy or this place again. read more

I've been seeing Ben for a few years now. I began about a year after my disc-herniation. I had been in treatment but with marginal results. Ben began muscle therapy (like athletes receive) and I began to turn around very quickly. I could start walking straight again. The numbness below my knee went away. I could function for the fist time in a while. I continued treatment with fewer visits and a lot less pain over time. I just got done with my "consultation". I literally spent more time filling out paper work then getting worked on. I let the doctors know my history of accidents to my lower back and nothing was said. I got adjusted and the doctor told me to walk 7 steps and asked me what percentage of relief I had. I am pretty sure I can't tell that after getting adjusted and walking 7 steps. Now I feel about the same if not worse on my drive home. A complete waste of $40! read more

Absolutely fantastic! I am super impressed by this practice, Dr. Higbee really knows his stuff. He is super knowledgeable, and when I came to him with an illness specific to my back he knew a lot of information and how to help me. My husband has also used him and after straining his neck very badly, was able to regain movement within minutes of seeing him. It's a friendly office with great customer service. This was my first visit to a chiropractor, I was nervous about what to expect. Dr. Higbee took time to explain everything to me, and was very thorough!!! I felt so much better after the visit. My daughter had Bell's Palsy in the Spring of 2010. We were doing all kinds of stuff to help her get better. We tok her to Dr. Higby, who administered more than just chiropractic, and she was over her spell of paralysis in 2 weeks time. His gifts were her missing link to a safe and fast recovery. We were using essential oils, herbs, extra supplements and omegas, as well as flower essences, etc. We are not from the area, and are traveling back to Orem this weekend. Wonderful Staff! Very kind and caring. Great Chiropractic experience and great massage therapists. I love how the massage therapists use different techniques so you can find one that works for you.
