The bus showed up to our address on-time and he (Allan, great driver!) also was able to accommodate a schedule change during the night out. The bus was laughably large for our 10 person group but that was actually more fun. It was clean, spacious and the sound system was excellent. One star only because because you can't give zero stars. very very disturbing incident with one of the bus drivers of my daughters Texas State U. sorority trip on Saturday the 24th, 2024 on their outing to Texas Ski Ranch in New Braunfels. I have reported it to the authorities and hope they take action and do not hire any drivers that do the ugly things this guy does. unbelievable that this driver of the bus thought he could get away with doing these things in this day and age. I had an excellent experience with these guys. We were celebrating my wife's 30th birthday and did a Hunger Games Theme, but we dressed like people from the Capitol. Our driver, Daniel, was amazing. We made A LOT of stops on east 6th, west 6th, and 4th street. He arrived early and loved our group, and our group is CRAZY. It was an easy book. Once you get the contract, you tell them where you want your stops to be made, and then they just show up. I recommend to anyone who knows what they want and are ready to go. I hope to hire them again for another event in the near future. Don't forget to tip your driver!!! We got a bus for a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip from New Braunsfels to Austin. We had a great experience with everything. Corey in the office was friendly, responsive, and the pricing was great. Lonestar was about half the price of the real fancy limo busses offered by other companies. The bus wasn't as nice, but had everything that you could ask for on a party bus: comfortable seats, party lights, a good sound system, and a counter/bar for beer/ice chest. It almost took the edge off the group and we could have a good time without having to worry about being super classy. The driver was fun, safe, and helped round the group up at the end of the night. Still blown away by the above and beyond customer service provided by Corey and his team. The bus was awesome, driver on time and patient with a rowdy group headed out to Lake Travis, but what really blew me away was the next morning. After leaving the phone on the bus night before, Corey went and checked himself after I called. On a Sunday, too! So grateful my friends chose his company and plan to use him moving forward. My trip was over, returned safely back home, yet he still went out of his way to reassure a tired, worried patron. You just don't find this type of character and kindness much anymore. The bus experience was fine but whoever the manager is and the bus driver are assholes. I left my leather jacket on the bus, my fault I know, but when I called them to see how to retrieve it, the bus driver told me he wasn't the one who drove the bus... he was, the second phone call I had with him he said there's a lost and found box I could go to. I called the manager to ask him how I could get my jacket back and he proceeded to tell me there's no office, and no lost and found and basically I'm SOL. If you're looking for a bus ride with shitty costumer service this is your go to. read more

Showed up on time and did the job. Very poor communication and logistics are sketchy. I had to request anything other than a verbal confirmation 2 times - Not ideal with 50 people counting on you. I tried calling to confirm and change the pick up location multiple times the days before and never heard back, praying they showed up on the day of. My debit card information was text to someone to be processed and still hasn't been 4 days later. 4 more days and 3 phone calls the charge was made, on the wrong card. No apology for the inconvenience. Nada. I do not recommend using this company. read more

I hired Lonestar for a large event and I had to hire another bus company too. The other bus company proved to be very incompetent which resulted in a huge mess up of itinerary, but Lonestar graciously changed their schedule and saved the night. Had a great experience with LSB for my daughter's (and 36 friends) high school prom. Corey, a veteran with a solid work ethic, communicated and delivered every step of the way. The itinerary was followed to the 'T' - pick up and drop offs were right on time. Barry, the driver was professional and courteous and the bus oh my the bus was so tricked out! Clean, face to face seating, party strobe lights, easy Iphone hookup and speakers throughout. They have a no nonsense policy about underage drinking - you do it and the contract is terminated wherever you are. Their policy was fully explained in advance and there were no problems. As a parent I appreciate that. Everyone was safe and had a great time. Thanks LSB! read more

I used two of these buses over Labor Day weekend in Austin, TX. I had roughly 80 people to transport on two different days. The people that I had in Austin were from all over the country some of which had never even been to Texas. The first day that the buses picked us up they were on time and picked us up exactly where they were supposed to. On our return trip back to the hotel the first day the brakes went out on the bus before we could ever leave and there was no air conditioning. This episode caused our group to become very anxious as well as late to dinner. While the drivers were scrambling to fix the bus on site I asked to speak to Correy but the drivers said he would not answer my call because he was instructing them on how to repair the brakes. I took matters into my own hands and called Correy only for him to tell me that he didn't want to talk to me that day but that we could talk another day. Once the bus was finally repaired the bus broke down on an overpass as we were entering I-35. The bus finally started again and we made it back to the hotel but the air conditioning was also broken so it was a very hot ride as you can imagine in September. I would not recommend this company as the buses seem to not be reliable. read more

Had a surprise birthday party for my son who turned 30. We had a blast! The driver, who took us all over San Antonio, was punctual, gracious and extremely accommodating.
