They have freezer sections, fresh cuts, vacuum sealed items, I'd even go as far as saying that if you needed something off-menu, they might be able to hook you up. The folks behind the counter were very patient, and super efficient. We ended up leaving with two maple blueberry breakfast sausages, two decent sized New York Strip steaks, 2 girthy Who Dat Balls, 2 giant stuffed chicken breasts (one Italian, one 4 cheese), a dozen boudin stuffed tamales, and two thiccc vac-sealed brisket burgers. Even so, there so much more to go back for. Luckily this joint sits right along the route to family, and we will be back for more. They have an array of your usual meats, plus a plethora of exotic and wild meats, and accompaniments. Some of their items can come pre-seasoned or pre-rubbed. Parking is easy on a weekend, but could be tight during rush. They also have a customer service reward program, so get your stamp on. When I got out of the car, there was smoke as soon as I hit the side of the building. They had two big black grills char-grilling pollo. It smelled amazing. It's only available on the weekend. I'm so glad I went. I went in to look at the meats. Everything looked fresh and good. I was specifically looking for oxtails and ribs. Someone named Sandro helped me, I think he may have been the manager or the owner, but he was very helpful. He also told me that the grilled chicken outside is only available on the weekend, and you can get rice, beans, tortillas, and salsa for a total of $12.99 for a whole chicken. That's right, and this chicken is so delicious. The rice and beans are really good, charro beans to be exact. They also have a little buffet where they will serve you different entrées. I'm not really sure what was there. Once I got my meats and the chicken, I didn't look. Can't wait to see how the fresh meat turns out. For the look and service they get 5 stars. I'll be back. I lived in Ecuador down in South America for some time years ago doing some volunteer work over there. I also travel to Mex every chance I get..... before the covid times. So I do very much have a fondness for establishments that remind me of places I've visited in other countries. I don't have some kind of specific product or anything like that to highlight. I just overall liked the experience of being at Mi Tienda. Has a great vibe to it in my opinion. I'll be back at some point to hang around here and see what interesting food finds I can pick up.
