I'm definitely saving Long Beach City Locksmiths to my contacts for future use and emergencies. They came to my rescue this morning (7/20/18) after I locked myself out of my apartment. Initially, I had contacted another local locksmith claiming to have 24 hr emergency service around 6:30 AM and was told they would be over within 30 minutes. I waited nearly two hours for them after several attempts to inquire on whereabouts, I jumped on Yelp and decided to go with Long Beach City locksmiths because of all the positive reviews and they didn't disappoint at all. After calling for pricing, and giving my information, Alfredo was sent and was at my apartment within 10 minutes of me placing my call for help. They are definitely fast and reliable and I would recommend this company to anyone. The only issue we had was processing of payment by credit card, which I was advised upfront that processing/app may be down (which was no problem, I just walked to atm to pay for services rendered). So I had a situation today with my fire proof file cabinet. The kind you see in banks. Very heavy duty. Anyway, I'm a business owner here in Long Beach and was unable to get into my files. The key would turn but would not operate the locking mechanism. I tried to drill out the cylinder myself only to break the drill bit off. After having enough of this, I called Long Beach Locksmith and talked to Rene. This was about 12 noon. He said he'd be here in about 30 minutes. This gave me time to read his reviews on Yelp. Looked pretty good. So at about 12:25 he came and started working on what I'm sure he thought would be a quick job. It wasn't!! I was thinking I may have to cut into the cabinet to retrieve my files and forever destroy it. Long story short, after about a hour, maybe a bit longer he was able to get it open. He never gave up and worked very hard on it. I'm glad I called him over other lock smiths that would have just given up and walked away. read more

This locksmith is amazing! I locked myself out of my garage which is separate from my apartment (and of course I had no spare key!) Called them up, they immediately answered, told me it would be $65 and they would be here within 20 min. Sure enough, a super professional locksmith came on time (maybe even sooner!), opened the lock in under 10 min, charged me what we agreed upon (even accepted credit card), and I was back into my garage! Rene was great, I called around to a few places and his price was $20 lower than the others. I set an appointment for when I got home from work and he came right on time. The lock I was getting rekeyed had some extra problems with it that I was expecting, but Rene was still able to get everything fixed promptly and rekey the lock.
