The office is spotless, warm, and incredibly welcoming, and every member of the staff was genuinely kind, friendly, and professional. Dr. Anthony Mark Saad is absolutely amazing. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything, answered all of my questions honestly, and never made me feel rushed. His calm, compassionate demeanor immediately put me at ease. I normally have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dental appointments, but for the first time in a long time, I actually felt relaxed sitting in the dental chair. That says everything about the level of care and comfort Dr. Saad provides. I'm so grateful I found him and can confidently say I've found my new dentist. PARKING (3/5): They have their own lot, the building was under construction when I came. So everything looked really old and rundown. There were only a few spots on a weekday. AMBIANCE (1/5): As a first time patient, it's really hard to leave a normal review while this place was under construction. I'm sure it'll look amazing once it's done, but I'm purely reviewing it based on how it was when I went, which was in the middle of all the construction. Please keep that in mind. SERVICE (4/5): I was able to make an IMMEDIATE appointment as a NEW PATIENT at 10pm at night to squeeze in the next day for a quick LASER TREATMENT for a cold sore. I am thankful for that and that's the highlight of this place. I didn't even know that was an option for treating cold sores so I drove kind of far since it was one of the first places I could find near me offering it. I'm sure there are more, but with late notice and it being an immediate need, I acted quickly on the first place I found. Once I arrived in the office there was no front of staff for the entire time I was in the office (before treatment, during treatment, after treatment). They seemed short staffed, I even heard one of the girls saying she needed another person and she was doing her absolute best given the situation, but they definitely needed another person. It's odd as a patient to have an empty front of office, ever. RESULTS (4/5): I honestly can't tell if it made the treatment time go by faster. It still took a total of 2 weeks for my cold sore to go away. But it didn't look too bad the entire time. I caught it early and went within the first 3 days. I'm sure it did help! Or make it less noticeable. Definitely helped with the pain IMMEDIATELY! I would definitely go back just for the pain lessening. OVERALL (3/5): It's only getting a low rating because of the construction state it was in when I visited. It was very sketchy. I was a first time patient and never saw the place before it started construction nor after it was finished. I was purely judging it based on what I saw when I went. When I go back after construction is finished I'll update my review. The service was great! It accomplished what I needed and they saw me SUPER QUICK! No complaints there. read more

After researching all day at work about laser therapy for cold sores, I decided to call on my commute back to Long Beach. They took me on very short notice. I think I was there after they closed and Dr. Saad didn't rush my treatment. I do have a lot of dentistry anxiety but Dr. Saad was attentive and listened when I needed a break. First visit. Came in for teeth whitening by Lisa. Received this offer and appointment during the Race On The Base 5K in the vendor tent. The building looks worn and old, HOWEVER the interior is a completely different story: clean, immaculate, fresh, and state-of-the-art. This is how my experience started, I was pleasantly surprised (went from 5-2-4 Stars) once I got inside. Appt for 12 noon, got there at 11:45am, filled out paperwork. Called in by 11:55am. WOW that was quick! Thanks Lisa! Lisa was the one who performed the whitening process and explained everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I'm writing this review after my second visit. My first visit I went in for a cleaning and everyone was super nice. The staff was friendly, the hygienist was so nice, and finally Dr. Saad was extremely professional and personable. It was such a great experience I came back for another cleaning and to get a filling for a cavity I had put off for some time. I've had pretty bad experiences with other dentists and so going to the dentist is usually stressful for me. The moment I walked in the receptionist greeted me with a big smile. Five minutes later I was taken in for the cleaning. Once again the hygienist was so nice and charming. She really made me feel so comfortable. Then I met with Dr. Saad for my filling. I expressed that I have a sensitive mouth and Dr. Saad and his staff took all precautions to ensure that the numbing agent was effective. While waiting for the agent to take effect, Dr. Saad and his assistant chatted with me. They were extremely pleasant. They were so kind and easygoing that it brought me a lot of comfort and eased my anxiety. Then we started the filling. I didn't feel a thing and the procedure was quick and efficient! Dr. Saad's care and concern for the comfort of his patients is clear by how he interacted with myself and others. Review from an anxious person: Amazing Experience! The staff members are so sweet and their high priority is to make you feel comfortable and educate you on your dental health. When I went in for my first visit, I felt nervous because I hate going to any dentist. I was greeted by the inviting secretaries. Nancy is the Registered Dental Assistant who is so sweet! I told her that Dentist Offices make me so nervous. She gave me a warm blanket and a warm-neck pillow. This surprised me because I have never had a dentist group cater like this. Dr. Anthony Saad is the Dentist and he is the sweetest Dentist EVER! He noticed that I needed fillings and checked my root canal which showed signs of infection. He referred me to a root canal specialist. On my second appointment, I had fillings and my metal fillings removed per my request. I hate getting fillings because the drilling sound makes me so anxious to the point of tears! Dr. Anthony and Nancy were so sweet and kept checking on me every time I got anxious. Of course, knowing myself I cried ( I always do ) and they were so kind to give me a break and comforted me. For the first time, I felt comforted at a dentist. Nancy held my hand during the fillings and gave me words of encouragement. I was able to calm down and felt better. Dr. Anthony Saad was so kind and noticed he needed to explain what he was doing to make me feel comfortable. The procedure was so smooth and I began getting sleepy on how relaxed I was getting. I can't believe I made myself nervous for no reason because I was expecting the worst. I am so grateful ..beyond grateful! to have found this Dental Group! I have never been treated so well by a dentist team and they honestly didn't even need to do all of that to comfort me. I usually don't write bad reviews and almost feel bad writing this one. But I'm over it. Dr Pakiz and his staff are personable. Erica is great. They go the extra mile to make you feel relaxed in a stressful environment with warm neck pillows and a welcome package for new patients, sometimes. I received these but my husband visited many times before ever being offered one. Sometimes they forget to offer, no biggie. Obviously that's not what we are there for. Dr Pakiz put in 2 crowns for me over a few years and I never thought they fit just right but they worked. I had an appt. with the doctor and the hygienist for a cleaning but was ill and totally forgot to cancel...guess what, 90$ is the no call cancelation fee. I get it. You were waiting, could have seen someone else, got it. But really, it was a mistake. I've been paying an arm and a leg for a neck pillow for the past 8 years but I missed an appt and it's $90?! I let them know I didn't agree with that amount and would be moving my family elsewhere. They agreed and I haven't heard from them since. Now, a crown has fallen out. Come to find out it wasn't done well to begin with. That feeling wasn't just me, it really didn't fit! Kinda sad to me. I thought I liked them and I thought they were doing a good job. So, if you're looking for a spa like dental atmosphere this is your place. I LOVE going to the dentist now that I'm a patient at Dr. Pakiz's office! Coming from me, that says a lot because prior to Dr. Pakiz, I hardly ever went to the dentist because I dreaded the experience. I joined Dr. Pakiz's office in 2011 at the recommendation of coworkers, and I'm certainly glad that I did. The outside building looks sketchy but don't let that fool you. Once you enter the office, you enter a spa-like environment that tricks your brain into thinking you are there for a massage, not dental work. The staff are the best part... From the time that you enter and are greeted by Darlene and Mercedes, to having work done by Erika or Lisa, you will be treated very well, and likely have a few laughs too. :-) Dr. Pakiz is professional, warm, and welcoming.
