Captain Jay recommended a morning cruise as temperatures would start in the 70's rather than the 90's this time of year. We had a fantastic experience! The boat slip is so close to the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock casinos it's only a couple of minutes drive. We saw dolphins on the way out and back in, and were allowed to handle to ship's wheel a good portion of our voyage. Captain Jay was a joy to be with, extremely knowledgeable, and has an absolutely gorgeous yacht! Highly recommend adding a trip to your Biloxi visits!

You should note that it is in the Mississippi Sound, and there was barrier islands blocking the large classic waves. The waves here are gentle. The water is shallow, and you can walk out a crazy far distance before the water gets to your waist. The water is brackish (fresh water from the Mississippi River missing with the salt water of the Atlantic Ocean). Brackish is a brown color, but the water is not dirty. This area is teeming with life. We saw a baby stingray, dolphins, hermit crabs, ghost crabs, fish jumping, pelicans hunting, and a sea turtle release! Though the beach is public, there are so few people visiting that it feels private. This is a beautiful little slice of Heaven just south of I10!

The Waterpark doesn't open until Memorial day since it's still off season and a bit cold. Check in and making reservations was easy and hassle free. The spot was level, had hookups for water, electricity, and a dump drain. Each spot also had its own firepit, which was really nice. It was nice that each spot also had an adjoining parking spot for a vehicle. We didn't use any showers or bathroom, so I can't comment on that. The beachside spots were a little costly at $100 a night ,but worth the splurge. Quiet hours were posted and everyone complied. Rating from F to A +++ it gets an A ++. Minus one + for being a bit costly.
