We needed a locksmith quickly due to a breach to one of our properties. I needed someone quick but did not know who to call, so I started looking on Yelp for well reviewed locksmiths. Tim had great reviews and I can see why. We did not have a really big job (one deadbolt install), but you need someone responsive, reliable, and, to be honest, someone who is not a complete tool. Tim was personable over the phone and after receiving some of the images of the door needing the work, he gave an upfront estimate and was able to supply me with the right hardware, which saved me some time and stress. Tim just came from a job that unexpectedly took him longer, but he was communicative to his new arrival time instead of just letting me hang, and showed up exactly to his estimated time. He was quick but thorough, and did great work. It was an old but very solid door, so it definitely was a workout for him. Be sure to use Tim's services. Why look anywhere else. I called Nick and he was able to be at my house in about 1/2 an hour. He re-keyed 9 locks including a few that were corroded, cleaned and lubricated everything. I have an expensive front door handle which someone had cross threaded the cylinder and he fixed that too. Nick the owner came over promptly and was courteous but told me he was not able to fix my lock. He was here a maximum of 10 minutes and said even though he could not fix it I still had to pay a $70 service fee. I later contacted two other locksmiths and one said their service fee was $15 and the other had no fee if they were unable to fix the lock. I feel like I was was taken advantage of. I contacted the owner to tell him I thought this fee was unfair but he did not care. Would not recommend. read more

I outlined what I needed and asked for an estimated cost. Two of the three sent me a quote, no reply from the third. Nick had the best price so I set up an appointment. Nick was on time and a professional at all times. I needed an old front door lock re-keyed. Due to the age of my lock there was a problem. Nick didn't give up.
