I don't complain about this, it is unlimited. I can come as many times a month as I choose. They are never on time. For a 35-minute service, I allow 2 hours. I blow my own hair. I have accepted this because of the price. At my last appointment, on 5/28 they were short-staffed. The location was dirty. There was hair all over the floor. The counter tops were dirty. The bathroom was overflowing with dirty paper towels. They were out of cotton discs and color remover for your skin. The schedule was 40 minutes behind. No one complained. They offered an option to reschedule to people. But today.... I was 15 minutes late. Yes, I was. AND I was told my appointment was cancelled. I drove 45 minutes from home as I had done 30 times and was turned away. I asked for the color to do it at home and was told NO. I have an unlimited membership for a year and 3 months. But NO. So, I don't recommend Madison Reed. The color fades fast, the location is filthy, and they are always late. Their customer service... well, not too good either.

I was so happy to see that they were opening a location here in town. I've been to the Lacey location and liked it a lot. They have a HUGE selection and great pricing. Some items were competitive with other supply stores while others were much cheaper. I was there primarily for makeup items, and it's important to note they carry inexpensive, "drug store" type brands. So if you're looking for MAC or Nars, this is not the place. But products like NYX and Jordana, things you can get at a drug store, this is it. You'll find a MUCH larger selection than most drug stores and a more varied array of product types. In their hair products, they do have more high-end, salon products, so that is a big money saver. And they also have a ton of sample sized hair products so you don't have to invest big if you're trying something out. As for the staff, they were polite and helpful. The manager greeted me when I walked in and offered help when I needed it. I also observed other staff helping other customers politely. I plan on going here frequently.

Inside, it can be best described as "homie" (lol "home-y no pun intended ). The lady was so down-to-earth and accommodating. The prices were outrageously affordable. A half corn row style was $40 and I added hair color which was an additional fee. I'm used to paying double back in Cali so this was a treat! And if you want to know, I ended up capturing SILVER medal at the tournament.

But when I came back to go a bit lighter and have my root touched up. I originally only had Lara doing my hair but then another stylist named Devon came to help her with it. I explained what I wanted again and they started my hair. they foiled my entire head which was already alarming since I had only asked to brighten it up a bit and touch up my root. But instead of lightening up she made me brown with blonde highlights and a money piece. I was already blonde and I did not ask for brown, I am distraught and it has ruined the way i view hair salons. I also asked for a small trim, Devon took 3 inches off my hair including layers I did not ask for. We paid $400 for this service just for It to turn out being the exact opposite of what I asked for. If you value being heard and listened to when it comes to what is going on when it comes to your hair, I would not go here, or at least let Devon and Lara touch your hair.

I have to say I have been to this salon a few times. Blowouts had been basically good. Essentially in line with the price charged. First color was fine. BUT.... B U T - YOU CAN VIEW THE OUTCOME OF MY 2nd COLOR JOB IN PIC BELOW! (sorry if turned the wrong way). This was supposed to be a "touch-up" - a root touch up to cover some stray grays. My hair color has & always has been from birth - dark brown. So I was told they used a mix of color 4 & 5 to achieve. You can see how yellow-ish the outcome was! Tbh, I didn't notice this so much the first night, but when I went to another salon, the owner there IMMEDIATELY NOTICED (she could see the top & back of hair where I couldn't see well, as well as near forehead) -- the way my hair dried naturally and the the way it was blown out, hid it near the forehead, but you can clearly see color was botched when you lift up. She was CONVINCED I had done it at home myself. She was shocked to learn a professional did this, let alone the owner of a salon. Look, mistakes happen. I am not a color expert, but was told all sorts of possible reasons why this could occur (none of which were of my doing). Bottom line, I like to give local businesses every opportunity to correct errors. I emailed this salon. No response. And I called. Got machine. I asked if I could come back to them to try & correct the color (hopefully at no charge, which seemed fair - as I am NOT & did NOT ask to merely be refunded & go elsewhere, which should've been a definite option). Although I did offer to pay in full for a follow-up blow-out. Btw, the owner was also the stylist who did my color. To be respectful, I'm deliberately leaving out names. Appointments are easy to make, plenty of time given, no rushing, salon is clean and comfortable and Jess does an awesome job!!! Going to the salon is my treat to me, and I hate when my appointment time is rushed, we are hovered over or I am made to feel that I am just $$, at Pasch that doesn't happen and that is a huge plus for me. I am very happy as my kids got me gift certificates for Pasch as Christmas stocking stuffers, so I am triple pleased.

The staff is not currently wearing masks but my hair stylist (Shellie) is always willing to put on a mask for me. She has gone out of her way to reassure me she is fine with the request. I am an old, type 2 diabetic and despite being vaccinated and boostered for covid I still prefer to err on the side of caution about masking. I like that Shellie always checks how I want my hair done. I always like the results of my hair appointments. Shellie also did an amazing job on my daughter's hair for prom.
