Was told at first appt what the plan would be, they did full mouth x-rays. The dentist told me it would cost $3,500 to do the work but would do it for $2,500.2 teeth had been infected. I was put on antibiotics by another dr and I called on a Thursday, it was agreed getting in on Monday would give time for antibiotics to work. I went in to have the 2 pulled and he was kinda rude. He didn't just pull my teeth but yanked and ripped them out. A month later and the side of my tongue still has discomfort and the inside of my bottom jaw in the back is still "raw" feeling and it's NOT where the tooth came out and my ear has been really bothersome. I will NEVER EVER go back. A few days later allergies hit hard. 2 weeks go by still sick. Go to urgent care and I'm told I have nerve damage in my ear from him and his yanking my teeth out. Mr. Salam you are the most INCOMPETENT and messy dentist I have ever had in my life ! When you placed implant in my mouth instead of providing sedation in the office, you gave so many injections in my mouth that my face got swollen so much. Now, the cap in my implant is loose and the implant itself will be out soon according to oral surgeon I saw recently. You got $3000 for the lousy implant you placed in my mouth. You are not qualified to do implants or any major work in the mouth but you don't mind trying and getting peoples money. As you know, my wife paid you $15,000 to do the work in in her mouth, but you made a MESS! To clean your mess she paid $45,000 to the oral surgeon that did wonderful job. Seven years ago, I had all of my teeth extricated (I fell asleep while Dr Salam did his work) it took almost 2 hours to get them all, and my dentures were put in after the procedure. The bottom plate was inserts. Fast forward to July of 2024, my bottom dentures were not lining up with the pins. I called the office and was taken right in. I recently lost 50 pounds so my face was a lot smaller as well as my jaw. I had to go back twice because they no longer fit right. The third time I called, new magnet "snaps" were put in. I have had no problem since. The staff were friendly, the exam room was clean, and I received top notch care. I received quality service seven years ago and received the same, if not better service to present day. Dr Salam is very professional, explains what he's doing throughout any procedure I've had. And by the way, the chairs massage you to calm your anxiety's down to a lower level. read more

The dentist was extremely unprofessional.. I was in for an emergency tooth extraction and in a lot of pain and drove almost and hour and a half in a lot of pain they were able to get me in right away I've never been to this office and I was happy with that ... until the dr came in .. he was very rude to me and very unprofessional he didn't even tell me he was going to give me the shot to numb my mouth then left the room came back and started yanking on my tooth I was in a lot of pain still and normally it takes 3-4 shots of novacane to numb my mouth I've had other teeth pulled .. the tooth was not infected the nerve was exsposed so I couldn't even drink water .. long story short he started being rude to me saying sister sister I know what I'm doing then asked me if I wasted to switch places and I could pull his tooth .. so he shoots me again only this time in the side of my cheak nowhere near the tooth .. so obviously I could still feel the tooth and he started yanking on the tooth and I was trying to remain calm but it hurt so bad I was shaking he then flips out and sends me out for antibiotics and I was now in even more pain then when I got there and my face is swollen as ever and in pain worse than I've ever been .. do not go here save yourself from this awful traumatizing experience read more

I am the daughter of the actual patient and leaving this review in reference to my mother whom had a severe tooth ache and was referred to by my cousin. To start, everything is far up in the Adirondeck area as we know. Calling to get my mother in for an emergency dentist visit was already difficult however this place was thankfully open on July 3rd. The receptionist was very sweet and was able to schedule my mother immediately. My mother has a fear of dentists and has a history of fainting during a dental visit. The doctor who treated her was condescending and laughed when she explained that she usually faints. His bedside manner was incredibly unprofessional as he laughed as he stated "looks like you'll be going to an oral surgeon". Those words could have been stated differently. He should have REASSURED her that she is in good hands and he'll do the best he can do for her. For the record, i am a licensed Acupuncturist, licensed Massage Therapist and Licensed Esthetician. I have my own practice with clients who are afraid of needles, uncomfortable with touch and afraid of laser treatments that i perform on them. Never have i EVER LAUGHED at someone in their most vulnerable moment. My mother is actually engaged to someone with over 5 million in his bank account which is more than this local dentist will ever see in his lifetime. How dare he treat my mother in such a way. If your looking to be treated poorly and laughed at - this is the doctor for you. Shame on him for his condescending demeanor. This review will also be posted on google and all social media platforms. And i will be calling the federal business burea to file a complaint. My family has gone here the last couple years and I think they've always been pretty quick and gentle. We feel comfortable when we go and they always gently help guide us to better dental care. When I had teeth pulled for braces, the dentist made me feel comfortable and calmed my anxiety making it feel easy to get thru. Great dental office in all of our opinions, no complaints. read more

So glad I found this dentist! . I started the process of getting crowns/a bridge today & it was so comfortable and pain free!! I have pretty high anxiety when it comes to dental work due to a terrible childhood dentist. The office staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The dentist listens to exactly what your concerns are and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. I even overheard him working on a young child who started crying/getting impatient - he was able to calm her down almost instantly and I was very impressed with how he handled it!
