The staff is very caring. Customer service is excellent. The best shots I have ever received from a dental office.

I…read morehad four crowns done back last year in August, the temporaries didn't fit right, constantly told them that they weren't fitting right that didn't feel right and I had pain in one of the teeth. Originally I was only supposed to get crowns not get root canals, I agreed to the root canals but never knew that I was getting these stupid posts jammed into my teeth. One of the tooth structures I could understand because it had chipped so far down that it needed the extra build up. However when the time came to put the permanent ones on, these two didn't fit right and one of my teeth I kept complaining before the permanent crowns were put on that I had pain, and then I had pain in another tooth. They kept telling me " it'll settle, don't worry about it don't worry about it. I'm the dentist I know." I have two previous crowns from a dental dental institute that I've had since 2016, perfectly flush against the gums, no gaps no nothing. No pain no sensitivity perfectly fine. These four crowns that I have now? Monstrosities, there's a gap between the gum and the crown, one of the crowns is extremely loose and painful, and another one just any type of pressure on the crown it's excruciating. When I told them that? Their idea was the shape the crown a little bit so when I close my mouth my teeth don't touch. Okay, so how about when I'm eating? I can't even eat on that side. I absolutely refuse to go back to this dentistry and have them anywhere near my mouth again. I'm already needing to pay out of pocket to get this fixed which is ridiculous. I highly advise anyone looking into going to this place to avoid it at all costs. I'm already thinking about filing a malpractice suit if not already filing a complaint with the board of New York dentistry. This is unacceptable, in every way shape and form. Like others, I really should have did a simple Google search to check reviews. Just because this dentistry accepts Medicaid or Medicare. Our options are limited, but do not risk your teeth destruction going to this place.

If you need to call and reschedule an appointment, she's going to question everything about your life & speak to you like a toddler. Fortunately I made the decision to just cancel the appointment (which she also gave me an attitude about). I just had to cancel before I had to cuss her out for speaking to me in such a way when I was nothing but respectful the whole time. The lady that handles payments, very rude also, doesn't look happy, always with a mad mug on her face. And another thing, the dentist here didn't allow me to make the decision for myself if I wanted numbing or not for a filling, he just decided to not tell me until I'm laying in the chair that I wouldn't be numbed for my fillings and it HURT. Do NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. They also give racist vibes. I dreaded making an appointment here again, it was the only place with no waiting list. And I can see why. Seriously zero stars!

Dr. Schonfield is funny and kind and puts you at ease right away. The staff are incredibly thorough, taking time to explain what they're doing and never making you feel rushed. Every single person we encountered was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. Truly outstanding across the board.... From reception, to the nurses, to the doctor, to billing. Every interaction was positive. Dr. Curtis was especially wonderful with both me and my kids. He took the time to make sure they understood their treatment, what was happening, and why. He was so kind, patient, and easy to talk to. Leading up to surgery, the day of, and even afterward, I called at least 10 times with questions. Not once did anyone seem annoyed. Every time, they were helpful, responsive, and happy to answer anything I needed. On the day of surgery, the staff continued to go above and beyond. When my daughter had an issue with gauze getting stuck in her braces, they stepped in immediately to help without hesitation. They even called a few hours after surgery to check on how she was doing, which meant so much. This place deserves more than just this review. I'm so impressed. Dr. Curtis, you've built something truly special. It's rare to find a place with this level of kindness, respect, and professionalism. Thank you for everything.

This is the WORST! WORST! DENTIST!!! I have ever been to in…read moremy entire life!!!! From all the Dentists I've been too all in Florida and this place is a nightmare! I had gave this place several chances and all the times were the worst the staff had no idea what they were doing kept dropping things on the floor.. but the Dentist Aeklavya Panjali was beyond rough with my mouth and continued to hit his utensils on my top teeth, he has no bedside manners, or knows how to treat you professionally and respectfully! I've never been treated so rudely from a Doctor! I highly recommend to do your research and go anywhere but here. I will NEVER be coming back here! Spreading my experience telling everyone I know to never have him practice on you. Not TO ME TIOM THIS DENTIST OFFICE IS A SCAM THEY STEAL FROM YOU!!!!!!!! THEY CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY FOR WORK THEY DIDN'T DO! And his Wife is the Manager of the facility so whenever I need to make a complaint or need a copy of my Xrays, they refuse to do so and say they are "very busy and hang up!" *The tooth pictured is the one that is giving me so much pain after the crown has been placed can't even eat on the crown'ed tooth . As YOU CAN SEE THERE IS Mercury in my tooth now because of him! I PAID FOR PORCELAIN CROWN! And I got this cheap silver piece that's making my gum line show now! Don't make the same mistake I did. I'm the process of trying to shut his practice down!!!!!

It was over a two-year Nightmare!…read more From 2019 and just Today! Yes today January 19th, 2022 thank God I can finally smile again after so stressful, painful, long, and very expensive process that Dr.Panjali left me in. I was an employee here and a patient but I am not rating this place as an employee but as a patient. I will try to make the story short but I can go for an entire year telling how this place gives me NIGHTMARES! I continue to have nightmares where I see Dr.Panjali and it is horrible. From just one veneer it ends up with four veneers/crowns, cracked tooth then failed implant (twice failed implant) and this was verified by two Doctors! I used to go to another dental clinic for the usual routine dental check-up, but since I was an employee in Sunshine Dental the previous manager asked me why not get the veneer/crown there and I'll get a good discount, I was new in the clinic and dental field so I didn't know any better, so I decided sure why not I wanna save money. (Worst decision I've ever made!) They convinced me instead of just getting one veneer why not get four crowns/veneers it will look more aesthetic (who doesn't want that) since I was a kid I didn't have that much confidence when smiling. So I made the appointment. After the procedure was completed, I noticed immediately the veneers and crowns of the shades are off, till now I remember, I describe them like the On and Off Christmas lights! Every other tooth was like white, gray, white, gray so I told Dr.Panjali my concern and he advised I sleep on it, and if you think they still look like that we will fix them. About more or less two weeks I have been asking my husband, mom, neighbors, and friends what do they think and they all agreed the colors didn't match and it was obvious. Dr.Panjali confirmed that too so we both decided to go ahead and redo the ones that are off, but in the process, he became frustrated, pulling harder resulting in cracking my tooth down to the root! ( I remember he was very rough like usual!) I was so devastated I couldn't believe it and mind you this is my front tooth that he cracked in two, I wouldn't care if it's in the back, I asked if a root canal will work or anything, but unfortunately, the only option is just to get an implant. He said no worries since He look at me like his younger sister he offered me a free implant (didn't want it at all because I've seen the process, it's very invasive and long) but that's the best option for me at that time. So I went ahead and did it, the implant was in, and with the follow-ups, he noticed that the bone is not growing around the implant, so he decided to take out the implant, do a bone graft, heal and reattempt the implant, so we did that. This time he was able to put on the implant crown did a temporary cement then come back, at that time I can already tell the crown is moving and its a bit painful every time I eat, but I thought it was normal since it's only a temporary cement, but when I came back to the next visit I told him that, and he looks very concerned and said the crown shouldn't be moving even though its a temporary cement, so he did X-rays again check the implant and said he doesn't understand. There's even a visit I brought my husband to make sure what was going on but on that visit he never say it's a failed implant! He even showed X-rays to my husband, even said it's probably hereditary (poor genes), that probably I'm low in vitamin D and C, even asked me to get my vitamin D and C checked. (Primary care MD confirmed normal lab levels) but still went ahead took a high dosage of Vit.D to help out. But with that last visit, my husband and I decided to go ahead and find another implant specialist and never come back to him. I struggled for more than two years, by that time everyone is wearing face masks so it helped me hide my faulty smile! My new provider assessed there was so much scar tissue and diminished bone, and gum tissue. But after the first attempt, the new provider got it right and fixed my teeth. Yes, I can literary smile now and I can move on.
