You can't take pictures inside but it's worth viewing. The grounds and carriage house are worth exploring too. The wine tasting provided at the end of the tour was rushed and underwhelming. It was a quick splash of painfully sweet wine in a gift shop. I wouldn't rush back for the wine.

Everything was organized and ready for our group. There were eight wines, each was well paired with an item, primarily cheese, but also nuts or chocolate. While we did not like all of the wines, the overall experience was great, which was down to the staff. Caitlyn (not sure if the spelling is correct) was phenomenal, we really enjoyed her hosting us, as well as the couple other staff that popped in. Worth checking out, especially if you have a group and can make a reservation. The location is a bit off from downtown, but the historical building also has a other shops to check out and a distillery.

The garden ceremony area was expansive with the sun shining over the fields. The setting made the perfect backdrop for the couple's photos, complete with wildlife in the background. After a lovely ceremony, we enjoyed cocktail hour and then moved into the reception space, which was exactly what this couple had dreamed of. The band played, and we danced the night away. Just note there's no air conditioning in the reception barn, but there are very large fans. Long Hollow Gardens & Vineyards was the perfect venue for this Bride and Grooms dream wedding. We bought General Entry tickets & wildflower picking tickets online a few weeks in advance. When we got to the gardens they asked for our names and directed us to park. Once inside we stopped over a the bar for a wine tasting - all of the wines are made in Tennessee on property - and bought 2 bottles for us to enjoy throughout the night. We also checked in for wildflower picking at the bar and were given glass jars to fill with flowers. The staff was very kind and helpful during that process. I also thoroughly enjoyed the free strawberry lemonade and regular lemonade that they provided guests, though some of my friends thought it was too sweet! Our one mistake was not going to pick flowers earlier in the night. We started when the sun was setting, but the area was so large that it was dark by the time we were finished. It was also the last week for wildflower picking, so there weren't as many left available as I imagine there is earlier in the month. We also ordered pasta from Pasta Gailfi, a food truck that was on site and enjoyed it at our table. If I were to do it over again, I would also bring our own food and a deck of cards or a board game for us to enjoy as well! It has the right feel and appearance now, and the young country boys who staff the joint are friendly, helpful and attentive. The place is well lilt and there is ample parking. Due to the location on the eastern edge of Gallatin, they're distanced from competition and thus the prices are a little higher than what you'll find in Hville or Nashville, but nothing outrageous. Part of the renovation was the inclusion of cigars and a walk-in humidor, but on this portion I think they underperformed. The humidor is small, the selection limited and the prices high. I'll still give them a try because the discount tobacco store a few miles away often has dried out cigars, but I found the $3 a cigar premium offensive. What is most disappointing to me about this location is the background music selection. Every time I visit they are playing gangster rap style music. I've complained about it. I mean, this is redneck central. This isn't even the hipster side of Gallatin. There are more trucks than minivans on this side of town, more tractors than you can count, and you're more likely to see the Stars and Bars being flown from a Ford F-150 than than the Yankee flag, and yet the staff tells me the owner insists on playing music that would be apropos in Bordeaux or Memphis. It's a minor thing, but indicates to me the management doesn't understand their demographic. I've asked the staff about it and they say the prefer Hank Williams or Johnny Cash, but the owner insists. So, note to owner: fix your music selection. Granted, the ghetto is geographically close, but your 'other' clients spend more per visit.
