Yazoo is a Nashville area staple. They have recognition around the country for a good reason. The brewery space is large and even has a huge patio which was really chill. Perfect for a nice day. I ended up ordering a flight with a good mixture of IPA's and sours. Their sour program has been top notch as of late and would suggest them if you're looking for some funk. You can't get a bad beer here, but if I could only choose one it would be their Sue stout!

This is a hidden gem located in Madison. It was a genius idea to collaborate with Grille Shack. Their food is delicious! Don't skip the fries. They have a beautiful patio with a great view of trees. If I'm back on this side of town again, I'll be back.

Excellent brewery close to Old Hickory, TN. Family and pet friendly with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. There were 5 adults and 1 toddler in our group and the outdoor space was ideal to relax and let our toddler have some fun. It was a chilly afternoon but one of the workers came out and let the fire pit for us which made it very cozy! We didn't try any food but the beers and ciders were delicious.

I love having this friendly neighborhood hang in Madison! With fire pits, board games, delicious food and beautiful views, you definitely won't get bored while drinking a beer at Yazoo. The Grillshack next to the bar sells good burgers and fries, we were pleasantly surprised to see both black bean burgers and Impossible burgers on the menu for vegetarian friends! They dyed the beers green for St. Paddy's day as a nice festive touch. The beer was super affordable and tasty too, I'd definitely come back to take a tour of the brewery

Brewery tour was fun - they were generous with the samples they gave. Place was clean and large with lots of seating. They had board games to borrow which was cool. Bartenders friendly and helpful with recommendations. The french fries were some of the best we've had. Parking was ample. Will definitely come again. Edited to add - And the beer was amazing!! Can't believe I forgot that part!

Very good burgers - the "Hot" wings were a little hotter than tobasco tasted very good

Grill House burger and fries with what's left of a Morning Glory IPA pint .

Great beer and service! Everyone was very polite and hospitable, they took time to make solid recommendations. Atmosphere is open, inviting and casual enough that it makes it easy to talk to strangers and locals. If I didn't mention it, the beer is great and they have nice diversity.

I am so disappointed in this Grillshack burger I got at the Madison location in the Yazoo Brewery.

I have always loved the location in East Nashville and have been eating there for years and I had no idea they opened one in Madison where I live. When I found out yesterday, I immediately called in a order and picked it up and brought it home. When I saw the size of this patty compared to the bun and compared to all the burgers I have ever eaten at the one in East Nashville. I was so disappointed. These patties have shrunk over half the size that they used to be and it was really salty. I have never been so disappointed in my life in a hamburger. The french fries were spot on delicious but this hamburger... For $13 you would expect a little more meat.

#32 - When planning a trip to Nashville for Ben's birthday, I have to map out the local breweries for him of course. This includes checking sites like Groupon that offer deals on drinks or in this case, a brewery tour that includes beer tasting. Naturally, our first stop for our little vacation was a brewery before we even checked into our AirBNB. Yazoo has since moved to a new location, but the location we visited in the Gulch was great. We got there early and it was a good thing we did. The place filled up and quick! We got set up for a 12pm brewery tour and while we waited, we did a flight. Luckily, the beertender knew we were going on the tour so advised us against doing any beers (some of their flagships) that we would have on the tour, leaving more options for us to pick. Great service on that! On our flight we had Grisette, Foudre Noire, Cream Ale, Yazoo 15th Anniversary Ale, Hop Perfect and Daddy-O Pilsner.

Fantastic wedge salad and Black Beauty beer.

On the food it looked good. Hamburger looked like the fave with fresh locale bread and cut fries. The beer was as fantastic. I had the Black Beauty X 2. Unique dark beard with a sweet bite. The bluff over looking the Cumberland was nice. Plenty of chairs and tables. Families were picnicking and at least 12 had their dogs. It was trivia night and and about 40 folks were playing. Funny thing is as a kid I use to hunt back in that area. I wish I had visited earlier in time.

    Flight!

Hubs actually was exploring our route and discovered this place so we bookmarked it in case we had time. Both times we visited, we were kind of strapped for time so we have yet to go on the tour. They do allow for tastings of their many boozes but they limit it to 6 or 8, which is very smart. I think we did not have that many our recent trip. Since we purchased 6 bottles our first trip (they give a discount for 6+ bottles), we were already familiar and wanted to try some of their new items. Both times we visited, we brought in our dog and she received a lot of attention. They have dog toys so of course I had to buy her one each time. Now those are really expensive! The prices vary for their bottles, maybe averaging about $55. Some are cheaper and many are more expensive than that. They also sell merchandise in the same room you do the tastings. We never have time but they do free tours and I wanna say they last about 45 minutes. It is in the middle of nowhere so it's not like you can make a day out of it any stay in town, while filling up an entire itinerary for a day. We really enjoy their bourbon and keep stock of the Blueberry and Mint Julep flavored bourbons. Everyone is always hospitable when we visit and that motivated us more to support them!

They sanction the controlled chaos, and on top of that, they serve beer! Putting axes in the hands of beer guzzling lumberjack wannabes sounds like a recipe for disaster. But to their credit, Faxons keep a close eye on their patrons. They'll even help with your technique. That's throwing technique. You're on your own with how you tip your glasses. You'll have your choice on who or what to chop up. You can toss a blade into the skull of a zombie or something more woodsy like a duck. You won't even need a hunting license. Just have your significant other fill out the permission slip (aka the waiver) so that you can participate in the carnage. If an axe is a little too extreme, you can try your hand at tossing a different dangerous projectile. They have a couple of dart boards just waiting for you to pierce their numbers. They come complete with chalkboard so that you can keep tally of how many holes you make. I'm guessing they'd prefer the holes in the boards rather than the wall. There's always the chance of the beer that's lubricating your inside, finding its way onto the axe handle and making it as loose as you. But as I mentioned earlier, Faxons keeps a close eye on the proceedings. You should be able to make your way out with all your appendages still intact.
