That being said, the negatives that I have are purely coming from a sanitation perspective, as I am also a New York State licensed waxer. Never once have I seen a single technician wear a pair of gloves. That is New York State law. I also can say with confidence that every single time the technician picks up Wax on a stick, she blows on it with her mouth, which is also against New York State law. No one has ever put pressure on the freshly waxed skin, which is a technique that I was personally taught in school, but make sure that I practice while working to ensure the least amount of pain for my clients. Lastly, this is more of a personal issue, but I feel no matter what time of day I come into the salon, whoever works on me has just eaten a meal and I have to hold my breath because of the odor being exhaled directly into my face. Overall, I think that the salon is conveniently located, and appears to be beautiful- the staff is very kind, but sanitation practices are not consistent at all.

It was my first time here and my first time getting a wax. The place is quiet and clean. I didn't make an appointment I just walked in (next time definitely making an appointment) it was very spontaneous. They have a 9 min late policy. If you don't call to let them know you're running late you might have to reschedule which is reasonable. Parking is convenient also.
