Rubina was the best and left awhile ago. I have followed her to her new suites but I decided to come here out of convenience since she is currently in Massapequa and I didn't have time in my schedule to go. The older woman who is usually always there by the eyebrow station is very friendly but not that great at tinting brows. There is a Spanish-looking lady that also works here who was in the middle of doing lashes last time but was able to tint my brows and they came out nice. I would recommend her. I apologize for not knowing names! The front desk woman was clearly very sick when I came into the store but was still there being trained. Not sure why the business would risk clients getting sick. Lastly, I am not sure if the owner is a woman with short hair who brings her daughter to the shop, but she is very rude. For those reasons, I will not be returning. read more

Worst MISTAKE! PLEASE if you're considering getting lash extensions here save yourself the pain. I now have a handful of lashes left on my eyes and a stye. I went about two weeks ago for lash extensions. I was very hopeful as I had previously gotten my browns threaded here and had a nice experience with that. I SHOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS. I can say with certainty that the ladies doing the extensions are not licensed. I was first told I needed to strip off the old set of lashes I had. This process left my eyes burning and red for days. The lashes were nice to look at but it soon became apparent that the lady had glued them DIRECTLY TO MY SKIN. To make it worse they were obviously glued to multiple of my lashes as well as multiple false lashes. Again I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt as I never want to make waves. However, a few days ago my lashes started falling out in clumps and I developed a stye. I called last night and was very reasonable, I wanted to speak with the manager and she wasn't available so I left a message and was told I'd be called back today. Never got a call so I called, I was told the manager wasn't in. I expressed how disappointed I was and midway through speaking I could hear the manager in the background coaching the lady on the phone to tell me I'm making it up and it's not their fault and I would not be receiving any compensation. I've attached photos below of my eye as well as the clumps of lashes that fell out with my own. Absolutely piss poor disgusting management. Will never go back and will make sure nobody I know will. Please save yourself the time and money and just plain anguish, do not go here. read more

I was going to this location for the past couple of years. I always used Rubina and love her. The last time I was there I bought a package for my eyebrows, which I did not use yet. I have money on an account not used for services yet. Rubina left the store so I don't have any reason to go back and ask for my money back since I never used the package and their policy is not to refund you your money that you have not used for any service. I would never recommend this place it's a sham. How could they keep your money for services never rendered. I highly recommend not to go to Bombshell Brows anymore! DO NOT GO HERE THEY RUINED MY EYEBROWS I had gotten a brow lamination and eyelash lift . I spent $250 on the service and when I told them my eyebrows were curly, falling out, bald spots from being over processed they said they couldn't fix them so I had asked for at least a partial refund and they were so rude and refused me. The manager with purple short hair was SO unprofessional and had such a nasty attitude. As I was talking to her and explaining to her my situation, she turned her back and walked away mid conversation. I almost felt like she didn't want to help me because of the color of my skin. That's how uncomfortable this woman made me feel. I haven't stopped crying over them ruining my eyebrows and to be so unsympathetic towards my feelings was just the icing on the cake. I will never ever come back to this place again. I have been living in bellmore for years and i will be telling everyone I know in the area about my horrible experience and to not come here. I bought the package, first visit was great she used a tint that was a good blend for my coloring. Second visit no tint. But discovered I have issues with the wax they use, fun. My third visit was my disappointment tint was just too dark. For my remaining visits, no tint and will need to go elsewhere for the waxing. 3 stars for atmosphere and effort. Really beautiful studio. The staff was friendly. I told the tech that I wanted my lashes thick and full. I showed her inspiration pics from their site and felt that she understood what I wanted. It took her about an hour and a half to complete the job so I knew when I was done they were going to be popping. They weren't lol. Too thin, too spacey and way too natural looking for my taste. The most unprofessional service establishment I ever encountered. My daughter went in for EYEBROW LAMINATION. They tinted her eyebrows with the lamination. This is not what she requested . When she told them she didn't want the tint, she was informed to wash off the tint . The help didn't inform her she couldn't wash her eyebrows for 24 hours. NOW SHE HAS CURLY EYEBROWS!!! She paid cash and no one gave her a receipt. She was told to come in for a refund . When we went in for a refund they wouldn't give us one. The receptionist was rude and used foul language because we didn't want a credit . With such a bad experience we didn't want to go back . I don't recommend this establishment! They don't know what a service business means. They are only interested in taking your money and not a long term relationship!!! The owner never is available and never comes in!! Ruined my eyelashes completely. Don't NOT go here. Burned the whole entire time I was getting my eyelashes permed. My lashes came out so overly permed that my lashes were completely folding into my eye crease. I had to go in my trip to Hawaii with completely ruined and sore lashes. I went to Bombshell Brows in Bellmore to get lashes for an upcoming wedding. When I left the lashes looked very natural and I was happy but after a few days they started falling out and I had a space between my lashes. I went back to Bombshell brows and asked if they could replace a few that had come off. It had only been a week. The manager said you want a 1 week fill in. I said no I want them fixed. She said I would have to pay $49 dollars after I just had spent $119. I refused and they would not do it. I would not go back there. They were not nice about it. She was like you pay to get nails filled in. I said after 3 weeks. Don't know why she brought that up it had nothing to do with my lashes. Rubina did my lashes and I can't even explain how bad they are. 1. lashes are glued to my eyelids 2. during the process she kept opening my eyes to move the tape and pull the glue off my bottom lashes, which made the glue seep into my eyes and it kept burning 3. shes very rough and kept scratching and pinching the skin around my eyes with the tools 4. she overcharged for me for the bombshell when these aren't the bombshell lashes. i've gotten the bombshell done before by raw and there was so much volume and it was perfect. rubina messed up my experience with this place. Eh, overpriced. Rubina put on good eyelashes and eyebrows, but she also remarked at how oily my skin was and sighed in irritation with me...rude. I thought beauty places were supposed to make you feel beautiful. I also needed to hold my own fan to dry my lashes while she looked at her phone? I didn't know I worked there! Lastly, I'm 9 months pregnant. I needed one minute to sit up after laying down for so long because I just naturally get dizzy at this point. I came here for the first time. I was not aware that I needed an appointment but the girl there was extremely accommodating and helpful. I did the brow wax. After she shaped and filled in with pencil and highlight. I ended up loving the look that I purchased the brow kit. They do literally everything there and have a bunch of different packages. This place is really chic. I love the decor and as soon as you walk inside you are greeted by friendly beautiful girls who make you feel very welcomed. First time there and I was assisted by Sandra B. She was so professional and consulted me on my eyebrows. She gave me tips on how to continue to let them grow and suggested other products for me. I didn't feel pressured or rushed. She took her time and definitely did what I had asked! She cleaned my eyebrows and gave them a bit of a shape. They're not where I want them to be but pretty darn close. Excellent service I must say. The only not so good thing I can say is that for eyebrows I feel like $18 is a bit too much.
