I attended the Big Rig Truck Show On Bald Hill with my family patriarchs. My dad & his older brother my uncle. Both retired Teamster truck drivers. They LOVED this show. The show itself gets 5 stars by me. What a great event for folks like me & my fam who love and live the big rig life. Not many events for us to attend especially on Long Island. The average person would rather see a car show or some kind of food festival so we don't have many options. This show fulfilled our small niche. Hats off to the family that put this show together. It was a great testament to the underserved niche of truck drivers who love what they do & lets them strut their peacock feathers. There was many beautiful painted & chromed out trucks to see but my favorites were the old models. It also was a great place to run into people you haven't seen in years and catch up. My dad & uncle got to reminisce on the old days and compare stories of B models, quad boxes, no power steering and overall crazy times. They charged us an extra $200 in hidden housekeeping fees. When we protested, they said "well....maybe we'll just charge $150," suggesting that they were slapping on extra fees randomly with no policy behind them. When we pointed out that there was absolutely nothing about the condition of the RV that wouldn't be easily taken care of in a routine cleaning, they informed us that they don't clean the RVs after use, but only "wipe down the surfaces." This is disgusting under any circumstances, but in a pandemic is unconscionable. Steer clear.

Unfortunately I cannot warn people enough about using this business. A few months ago I had such a…read morehorrible experience with them that I'm finally writing the review. From the time I walked in the door everything was handled unprofessionally. The girl sitting behind the front desk was extremely rude and sitting on her cell phone. Not to mention her pants were unbuttoned like she was lounging at home with her foot on the desk. When I asked to speak with the owner I was given an attitude & a loud sigh as she reluctantly put her phone down and went to get him. Once the owner came up to speak with me, he seemed to have no idea of the situation I was speaking about, you would have thought I was speaking another language. He immediately ushered me off to speak with who I assume is the shop manager & walked away. This man was immediately on the defense Leaving me little room to voice my concern. I almost felt as if he tried to intimidate me out of my complaints (which he barely let me explain). After feeling Disregarded and unheard I walked out & felt the need to warn the Public about using such a poorly run business. Although in the end my truck was repaired properly I would never expose myself to such a shit show again. Take your trucks else where, this place a a joke & over priced.
