Nope. Doesn't even look open most of the time. They don't take care of the grounds or outside. The ice cream machine doesn't work. It looks frightening when driving through the drive through that they actually might still be serving food out of this building. There might be one car in the back parking lot occasionally. The worse food ever...I would rate a negative star if possible. Sooo much grease it was drip from it. We ordered 3 meals none of them were correct. Of the 10 parties in the restaurant--all 1s and 2s-- nine were awaiting meals at the same time. Three were delivered in 15 minutes. At that point I requested a refund and left. read more

The worker was polite. The food may have been leftover from earlier in the day. It was not hot-out-the-fryer. The fish were different colors like cooked at different times. One fish had burnt bits on it. The other one fell apart. The fries were brown and crunchy. The hush puppies were very oily. The best part of this was the packet of malt vinegar. I was excited to see under new management but this is not going to make it. That is a shame as we can use a good fish place here. read more

I'm seriously never giving this place a chance again! Went to the drive thru only to sit there for 10 mins before being told to pull up to the window to place my order. There was one truck in front of me that placed their order and I sat for another 10+mins! The car that was behind me as well as myself, both backed up out of the drive thru and left. Ridiculous for dealing with that on a Friday night at 7:30pm. The manager needs to be fired and the owner better pray things change or else they deserve to go bankrupt. Even KFC is always looking for help ALL THE TIME, but they get your order taken quickly and the food is always good! I'm over you Long John's...middle finger up! read more

We were starving from traveling and after finding a camp ground decided to get some seafood...Kansas you have to be kidding me...if I could rate -0, I would! We pulled around to the drive thru (Corona virus has eat in closed) and three employees were out back smoking. OK. So we put our order in drive thru speaker, gal at other end was "Aloof" to say the least, (I believe she was talking to the three bone heads who came in from their smoke break- we had to repeat our order 3 times and she STILL got a simple order wrong! Upon going to drive thru window and getting home the hush puppies were obviously old and one was even hard as a rock!! Simply disgusting & disgraceful and I went right to the lap top to put in my review! Hey manager and owner...you really should redo your restraunt practices and get decent people to work for you!! Absolutely atrocious. The service is always slow, the people working are rude and clueless, and the food is hardly ever edible. If you want A&W, keep driving the 30 minutes east to Russell because this one sucks. You will also end up in the bathroom firing from both ends. Do yourself a service and keep driving. read more

This was one of the worst experiences ive had at a LJS. The employees were rude and just talked around and walked away as i was about to order. The cashier didnt ask what size drink i wanted and by the time i got my receipt i realized he over charged me. Then when i got my meal it looked like it was slapped on and messy. My onion rings werent rings, they were small pieces of onion and mainly fried batter. However the guy did bring the food right to me at the table which was nice. The rest of the employees were ride when i went to the counter three of the employees and i think one of them was a manager due to her shirt looked agitated and didnt even ask me if i needed anything as i stood there waiting for someones attention to simply ask for a box to take the food home. It looked like pther employees were joking around with someone off shift or just a friend. The only i thing that was decent was the hushpuppies. On my upcoming road trip i will NOT as stop at this store. The employees were rude, food wasnt good. You might as well go to a restaurant and ask for the crap deep in at the bottom of their frier bc it was just that terrible. read more

Avoid this place at all cost. The food was horrible, the atmosphere was worse. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat, now it literally is the worst place in town. One of my favorite things here was the crabcakes, the ones I got tonight were small 1/4 of the size they used to be and tasted like rancid tuna. The hush puppies tasted like they were cooked in burnt oil. I just finally got my food. I ordered my food at 1:13 with nobody ahead of me in line or at the window. I didn't receive my food until 1:34. We ordered 2 simple meals with no add ons or special features to them. If you need something quick, do NOT stop here! By the time we got our food, there were at least 3 people behind us. Even if they knew there was gonna be a longer wait then normal, it would have been nice to communicate that to us. A simple "I'm so sorry but it'll be a few more minutes." would have been appreciated. read more

I never had that much bad experience in my life at any kind of restaurant. Workers were playing with each other. I ordered 12 pieces of fish they give me 11, instead of 12 hush puppies gave me 9, no coleslaw, there should be 4 corn they gave just one. I asked one extra plate they brought when I was leaving. It had been a while since I had eaten at this LJS and will definitely be a LONG time before I attempt to eat there again. The pieces of fish had hardly any "fish" to them and were so tough they must have been sitting since lunch. (We ate at about 5:30 pm). Shrimp was tough also!! One of the worst meals I have ever paid for. Never again!! LJS used to be one of the better places to eat, so disappointed! No stars read more
