Been to Long Shadows when it was at the old tasting room and the new location is much improved. Very modern interior and larger space. Service every time has been attentive and friendly. Our group decided to do the mixed flight and it did not disappoint. We chose to do the charcuterie board along with the flat bread. All very tasty and paired well with our flight. Long shadows reds (feather and Chester kidder) are some of my faves. If you're looking for a place to go tasting Long Shadows is a must.

New location is very large and cozy. Beautiful inside and out! Wonderful place to enjoy some wine and appetizers. Fortunate to have tasted their wines a few years ago. Brought some back to California and enjoyed later. I was excited to go back! We had an excellent and very knowledgeable person working with us. He didn't rush us yet checked on us often to see if we were ready for the next tasting. Long Shadow wines are excellent. Tasting Room is very inviting. There are many tasting rooms in Woodenville and this is a definite one to stop at. Make sure you make a reservation. Lots of parking and a nice area for a walk. There are two other wine tasting rooms in the same complex.

We are members here and made reservations to check out the new location and to taste. Location is very nice. Compared to the old location, more parking and bigger and brighter tasting room. Location is still new and you can tell staff are in training and probably they were short handed. We waited by the front desk to get some attention to be seated. Finally got seated. Service was very slow and each time our wine was poured we had to ask what we were tasting. There were delays between each pour. Totally get it, larger space, they have a patio upstairs so everyone is probably adjusting to the new location and space. It was also a gorgeous day so everyone was out tasting. Hopefully by our next tasting staff is up and running and service improves.

I came here for a wine tasting without a reservation, but was seated immediately in the beautiful interior, and given a wine menu to review. Jordan, who was taking care of me for the afternoon, was amazing - really well educated on the wines and great to converse with. I am very familiar with their Poet's Leap Riesling, so I am glad we have a tasting room in the area. I ended up going with the Mixed wine flight (which is $30), because I wanted to try a mix of varietals. I really enjoyed their Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay (it can be hard to find a nice Chardonnay!). Their Reds were bold, and I'm sure would be wonderful for red wine lovers (as I like white wines more), but they were still enjoyable. I ended up buying a Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc to go. The tasting menus are definitely on the higher price point, but the service was excellent, and the wines themselves are distinctive from other wineries. It was reasonably busy when I was there. They do have food options but I didn't need food at that time. Look forward to returning. There's plenty parking in the vicinity.

Do NOT miss this place! The ambiance and stunningly decorated tasting room are elegant and match the delicately crafted wine. Each wine we tasted starting with the light and complex Julia's Dazzle rosé, to the sublime smooth richness of the Sequel syrah provided a refined and high-quality experience. The staff are passionate about the wine, and it shows in their dedication to sharing stories about the grapes and the wine making process. I recommend this new tasting room in Woodinville located in the Old Redhook Brewery location with several other wineries.

Wow! What a beautiful NEW location for Long Shadows. Centrally located in the Hollywood District of Woodinville with plenty of parking. The main tasting room offers plenty of space for each party, fresh air when the large doors are open and sunlight. We are members and recently upped our membership so we can access the members lounge. The staff at Long Shadows is very knowledgeable about wine in general and happy to share as much or as little as you would like. The wine is amazing - every varietal and bottle always hits it out of the park. So don't worry about the reasonable tasting fee, as you will most likely be purchasing wine to bring home to enjoy later. They have small bites if you need something to nibble on.

Now, this is a treat! The tasting room is beautiful. We showed up early for our reservations (Woodinville tasting rooms are much closer than they appear on the map). The hostess was very gracious and had no problem seating us early. My husband and I did different tasting and loved all the wines. They're all collaborative wines made by world renowned winemakers. The Riesling is made by a German winemaker, the rosé winemaker is from Provence, the Syrah by an Australian, etc. But it's all Washington fruit. It's a genius idea and all the wines are stunning

JJ was the greatest server who properly educated us and ensured our experience was superb. I highly recommend ordering a wine tasting at Long Shadows as you'll will likely fall in love and ensure you leave with a bottle purchase! Flatbread was tasty as well.

Long Shadows was such a fun weekend wine visit! The service and hospitality was exceptional. Everyone had a smile on their face and truly seemed happy you were there. I loved the touch of having a pianist playing in the background. It was a great compliment to the cozy and beautifully designed layout. I especially liked all of the little pockets of areas to sit... the upstairs patio was a great option too! Now let's talk wine... I've been a wine member in other clubs and I can't wait to be a member at Long Shadows! Their wine was high quality and easy to drink with good company. I look forward to having dinner parties at home and pairing it with a great meal. From ambiance, service, quality, and amazing wine, you can't go wrong with visiting Long Shadows. I'm already planning my next tasting with friends!

05/24/2026 TASTING…read moreROOM I loved visiting this winery and can't believe I didn't the few other times I traveled to Seattle. They do a summer concert series, and it was the first one of the season. My friend and I got there early, and only one other group had started lining up for VIP. So we went to the tasting room and grabbed seats at the bar. They were offering a $30 "Take Away Flight" with both red and white wine options. I got three reds and the white that they promoted for the summer concert series. All of them were pretty good. I loved how the wine flight was presented (see photo). I would definitely go back just to hang out at the winery next time and drink more. SUMMER CONCERT SERIES I thought the concert would be well organized since this isn't their first time. However, the staff seemed lost when it came to when and where the VIP check-in would be. We had Soundcheck VIP tickets for Yellowcard, and didn't get to go in until like 45 minutes after the scheduled time. So that cut into the VIPs' early entry time. Fortunately we got to the merch tables right before they let general admission in. There were plenty of porta potties. A decent amount of food options. We got a burger and chicken fingers & fries. Of course they offered wine, as well as beer. You also had the option to buy wine bottles at the winery and bring it into the concert area. We sat front row, which had a great view, but it was also right in front of a walkway, so that was a bit annoying. Watching soundcheck and the concert itself was very fun. Overall a good experience, and I would go back!

Chateau St. Michelle has gone from 5 Stars to 3 Stars in my book - at least for GA concert seating…read more It's still awesome if you're purchasing reserved seating. What changed? Live Nation, who apparently is running the concert venue, is a KILL JOY. Total BUZZKILL. They have gone crazy with their non-sensical security rules. If you strictly adhere to the guidelines they posted, you can bring one chair and one bag that's 6x9 inches! Despite what they wrote on their website, they will also let you bring in one small, clear plastic bag of food per person. NO COOLER, NO BIG BAG OF STUFF, NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES (including water). No anything else, either. You can take more stuff with you on a commercial flight than into this venue. As I said, if you're purchasing reserved seats, this experience is likely closer to expectations, although even there I used to bring a small cooler. Not any more. So, what do they think? Some old fart is going to pack an Uzi in the potato salad? Give me a break. These concerts don't exactly attract a wild crowd. Biggest problem they're likely to have here is someone losing their dentures in the grass. Safety is one thing, but draconian, nonsensical rules that kill so much of the joy of the experience is another. Someone in our party had a reusable plastic shopping bag (you know, one of the ones we all had to buy when they outlawed regular plastic shopping bags). Not allowed. They put the food in a clear plastic bag at security so we could take it in (thank you!), but then they insisted that the completely EMPTY re-usable plastic bag be thrown away (or carried back to the car). Chairs and mats that everyone brought in often came in larger, solid canvas and similar material bags. Those were fine. But not the shopping bag. Make that make sense. (You can dismiss this entire rant as "modern problems." I get it. In the scheme of things, this isn't a big deal. But, it's just one more erosion in a long list of erosions of the freedom and joy we used to have. It doesn't have to be this way. We shouldn't have to fear for our very lives going to a concert like this. And, that's the basis for the draconian rules and the foundation for the experience.) Second issue - they cancelled the concert shuttle, but didn't tell anyone and didn't post any signs at the lot or anywhere else. People were cycling through that lot for a while. They said they didn't sell enough tickets to justify the shuttle, but the venue looked as full as it usually does to me. Regardless, they should have at least put a sign in the shuttle parking lot so people didn't have to sit around wondering. Then, there's the $55 dollar parking across the street that's, yeah - $55. Fortunately, there was another lot run by another group down the street for just $20 and the money went to local charitable group - so money better spent there. The venue is still awesome. It's absolutely beautiful. All the staff were very pleasant and nice. Many were obviously going out of their way to make up for the draconian rules about which many people were complaining. Traffic getting out was crazy, as usual - even for those just trying to walk off the grounds. That's typical. I would have thought they could have improved the "walk-out" by now (it's been years and never done well), but apparently draconian security took priority. I would give a big shoutout and thank you to the Chateau for keeping their winery store open for much of the concert and NOT jacking up prices. That's wonderful!! You can buy your wine at regular winery prices (which are similar to any other retail), unlike Marymoore Park where the cheapest bottle will be a $20 bottle selling for $80+ and values only get worse from there. I stuck to wine, so I'm not sure what they charge for other beverages. I might go back if I'm splurging for the reserved seats, but I'm not sure GA makes a lot of sense anymore. It's always a balance on security, but that balance has been completely lost. We're now into -- "those who trade their security for their freedom will end up with neither." That's a thing and it seems we're now on that road.
