Unfortunately, this winery just wasn't for us. The first thing I said when we walked in was, "It feels way too corporate in here," and the experience from there pretty much confirmed that first impression. We were greeted by a somewhat responsive human who immediately needed our first name, last name, and email address before we could even get settled. At one point I was thinking, "I'm sorry, should we have scanned a QR code and filled out an application before entering?" After waiting a few minutes, we were finally seated, but the service didn't get much warmer. Our server barely made eye contact with us, and overall the staff just seemed uninterested in engaging with their guests. Ironically, the only time we really saw employees smiling was when they were talking to each other. Maybe this atmosphere works for some people, but when I visit a winery, I'm looking for something welcoming, personable, and enjoyable. This felt more like a transaction than an experience. Service: was provided few crudités with the dip. Had asked for chips to finish the remaining dip. Was told they don't provide chips or extra crudités and was told the price to buy them. Quickly finished the wine pairing and moved on. Pretty decor, service disappointing. Interestingly, a winery in the same plaza not only offered not one but multiple bowls of chips and vegetables (at no charge and without our asking) along with complimentary dip when we ordered a wine flight tasting. Came in for lunch with my coworkers and made a reservation to secure our spot. It was a Friday afternoon and I was surprised it wasn't more busy. I ordered the grilled cheese with carrot and cumin soup. The grilled cheese was fantastic - super cheesy and warm and perfect. To my surprise and confusion, the soup was served chilled. It was still tasty but would have been nice to been informed upon ordering. I was disappointed that the bottle of wine we wanted to purchase was sold out, and that we weren't offered any alternative suggestions by the staff. We ended up with a bottle of the Chaleur Blanc which was fine. I'm giving 4 stars for two reasons: 1) The staff wasn't particularly helpful and the hostess was about as friendly as a sock, never once making eye contact and 2) The prices are too high for the overall experience. The food is fantastic, yes, but that alone doesn't warrant the price. You can have the best food around but if the staff is lacking and the overall experience is average, the prices should be better aligned, it's not like there aren't multiple other restaurant options nearby that make a good grilled cheese. All that said, DeLille is a staple in Woodinville and I'd still recommend it to visitors, but I'll probably save my money and hold off on visiting for a while. read more

This was a great experience! We started out having lunch and it took a bit of time. The portions were huge and we should have shared. My hubby got soup and salad. The soup was a cold potato leek and he hardly ate any as he was not a fan. I got the chicken sandwich which was very tasty. Others loved the nachos and the waygu steak frites. We did a winery tour & tasting here on a Saturday. It was us and two other couples. I haven't been here since 2008, when I participated in a Red Hook tasting, so it was cool to see how they repurposed the place (and kept a decal or two). The tour was fun and informative. We were extremely disappointed with our experience at DeLille Cellars. Our group ordered two Collectors Tastings, one Classic Tasting, and one Summer White Tasting, which gave us the opportunity to try a broad selection of their wines. Unfortunately, we enjoyed only a couple of them. Most were overly acidic, and some even tasted vinegary. We ended up discarding most of the wine. The service was also disappointing and extremely slow. It took more than 90 minutes to taste only five wines. Considering DeLille's reputation and premium prices, we expected much better wine and service. We will definitely not return and cannot recommend this winery. read more

Delille has a lovely space and this was in their library (or bibliotheque) and it was such a fun experience. Jayne lead us through the tasting and she was funny, knowledgeable, and made it even more entertaining and didn't make fun of us, even when some of us were convinced what was actually a white was a red. Oh DeLille, how do I love thee, let me count the ways... Now I am not a member, but I have several friends who are, and my VERY generous friends will sometimes invite us for tastings here. In fact, they've hosted us in the private rooms, inlcuding that second floor wall of wines room - just lock me in there for the rest of my life, please! The building itself is gorgeous and is shared with other tasting rooms in the area! 3 levels of beautifully decorated seating areas for tastings and we've sat in all 3 levels. But the 3rd is great, there is a nice patio and it's so pleasant to enjoy some tastings outsde on a nice day. Now about the wines, we love the D2, Four Flags, and the Grand Ciel. TBH I don't think I've had a wine I didn't like at DeLille. And pair it with that addictive truffle popcorn!!! So, (fill-in-the-blank), when are we going back again?! ;) read more

Very impressive tasting room, friendly and attentive staff, and decent but pricey wines. I made a reservation for the upstairs area which has comfortable seating with lots of natural light. There are outdoor patio areas too. Good number of staff means the pours come regularly and with lots of explanation, and the braised pork appetizer came quick and fresh, and was very tasty. As for the wines, I did the classic tasting and really only enjoyed the rousanne and D2. I felt the GSM blends were bland on the front and bitter at the end, and the sauvingnon blanc was ordinary. Bottle prices are very high and I don't think are worth it when compared to other wines in both WA and CA. You have to spend $70 to avoid paying the tasting fee. Parking can be a pain here. There are four other wineries that share this lot along with DeLille's restaurant, so good luck finding a spot anywhere. read more

This is typically our go to spot. My wife and I are members and we typically love this place. Tonight when we came we had a 530 reservation, and were told after we were sat that they stop serving tastings immediately after 5:30...a little interesting that we can't get a tasting when we're sat. So we got a bottle and between all of us we finished rather fast. We then waited for our server to order another, at which point we were told they were closing at 7 and shouldn't order it. A separate server the came up and started taking out plates and reminding us of the 7pm closing. The entire time we were there between 5:30-7 we were reminded of the 7 lol closing repeatedly by every server, even one that were not our server. We finally just left at 650 as it was clear that they were intent on getting out the door asap, so we obliged. Not the welcoming experience we've been looking forward to. read more

My grandmother has never been to a winery before so I wanted to make her experience was going to be special. Needless to say, Delille Cedars was perfect and impressed us both! Both the exterior and interior were decorated beautifully and right when we walked in, we were welcomed with sparkling Rose. We ended up buying the bottle since we enjoyed it so much. As for the tasting, we both decided on the August Flight (I'm writing this review late, I know- I apologize lol). Our server was very knowledgable and explained the best way to enjoy the wine while indulging the Grazing Board. Speaking of the grazing board, this is definitely meant to be shared amongst at least 3 people. There are a variety of meats, cheese, and fruit to choose from. The only complaint I have is that I wish there were more crackers but everything else was fantastic! If you want to enjoy great wine, food, and ambiance, Delile Ceedars is the place to go! read more

I was with a group of 8 and called to see if they could accommodate a group of our size. They said they could, and while they could not do a tasting, they could put us in a private room. This was especially great news, because we were at another tasting room down the road and they said our party was too large and they didn't have the space--despite having several empty tables-- and essentially turned our group away. Once we arrived, we checked in at the front and it was just a few moments for the private room. We were offered a small sampling of their Chardonnay while we waited. When we were seated, we were greeted by Don and he explained a few wine options and asked our preferences. A few people ordered by the glass, some ordered a bottle, and some N/A. Don was accommodating to everyone's tastes and preferences, especially the N/A options. We also ordered a few food items: truffle popcorn, kettle chips, bruschetta and hummus plate. All of it was fine, but I think the stand out for me was the truffle popcorn. Two of us got bottles to go, and I look forward to enjoying more DeLille wine at home. We had passed hors d'oeuvres, charcuterie stations, and drinks. Coordinated between another event vendor that did our entertainment with the winery. The food was good. The venue space is on the 2nd floor above the restaurant. Hostess was confused when I arrived and confused again when others arrived a few minutes early. They require a case of wine to be purchased per quantity of people attending. We took the extra wine home. They charge beer, cider, and soda per item used. Would book another event here. The only thing I didn't like was a charge for paying with a credit card. Giant parking lot shared with a winery next door. read more

We made reservations online for a wine tasting in their tasting room. They have a beautiful building with three floors and ample parking. When we were seated our table had a personalized "table reserved" note with my name on it which was a nice touch. We also got a complimentary rosé when we walked in which was a great way to start our tasting. The tasting was $25 per person for 5 different wines which we thought was a great deal. All of the ones we tried were blends and my favorites were the 2021 D2 and the 2020 red willow blend. Our server Diane was great at providing information and history of each of the wines. The second and third floors are for members only and they're both great spaces for tastings and hangouts with friends and family. It was very relaxing and a nice way to spend 1.5 hours. read more

've been to DeLille Cellars a few times with friends, and overall, I've always enjoyed the experience. Most recently, I visited to celebrate a friend's birthday with a party of 10. We were lucky to get a fantastic spot in the restaurant, but we made a reservation several days in advance, which is absolutely necessary if you're coming with a group larger than six. This place is super busy, so planning ahead is essential. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the wine selection is exceptional, and the food is always thoughtfully prepared to pair perfectly with the wine. Everything from the charcuterie boards to the entrees was as delightful as expected, and the staff are usually knowledgeable and attentive. However, the last time we visited, our waitress seemed to be rushing us to place our dinner orders and appeared to be a bit impatient. It wasn't a nice feeling and unfortunately made the experience less enjoyable compared to previous visits. It's the only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five, as everything else was great. Despite this one hiccup, I still recommend DeLille Cellars. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy fantastic wine and food, whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just out for a casual gathering. Really enjoy this beautiful location in Woodinville. I felt welcomed upon arrival, the staff are really well organized and attentive. The ambiance is nice and relaxed. They welcome you with a glass of bubbles which I appreciated, and as I was there for a tasting, the dedicated staff member walks you through the tasting menu. As more of a white wine fan, I enjoyed those the most, but their reds are good too, there is something for everyone. I look forward to trying their food on the next visit, I saw other customers food arrive and it all looked so tempting.
