I came here a few weekends ago and absolutely loved it. JM Cellars is stunning! As soon as I stepped onto the property, I felt like I was transported to a secluded forest retreat. The earthy decor blends in with the beauty & lush greenery that makes up Woodinville. The wines are rich & smooth and the staff is fabulous- big shoutout to Becky! :) Parking is pretty limited so you will need a reservation, but they have valet staff to greet you as soon as you come up the hill. Can't wait to come back soon and bring some of my friends!

JM Cellars is a beautiful place to drink wine and have a great time in gorgeous surroundings. However, the wines poured were not in "my style," too fruity with little body. The experience seemed less about the wine and more about having a drink in a "romantica" spot. However, I used to be a wine guy for restaurants decades ago, and I came to Woodinville to learn about and taste great Washington wines, not just to have a good time. The people pouring were hired for their gracious demeanor, not for their knowledge of the wines. The wines we tasted were explained on an accessible app. Hey, I get enough of the impersonal computer world in Seattle. Drinking and enjoying wine should be all about people, exchanging ideas with good joy and laughter. I don't want to stare at my phone while tasting good wines. Maybe it was caution in this time of Covid. If so, I get it, but I still thought little of the wines poured. Yet, we had a nice time and everyone at the tables around us were enjoying themselves. Most people "just want to have fun," and don't take vino as seriously as I do. JM provides a gorgeous place to get that buzz on. Enjoy.

So happy we were able to experience this beautiful winery by walking in. Unable to do a tasting, but we purchased a bottle to enjoy outside. The Syrah was fabulous as to be expected in WA. This parking / valet situation is a little frustrating here and you do feel some pretentious vibes from clientele and service. Overall, will be back and enjoyed the wine and beauty of the wine room.

What a cool place!! We sat out back near the gas fire pit, which was surrounded by Adirondack chairs, to enjoy the tasting. It was a pick-up day, so very busy. Definitely dog and kid friendly. They have a nice mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. There were 4-5 tastings, geez...I lost track, all of which I enjoyed. The outdoor space feels really close to nature, lots of greenery, huge mossy trees. The atmosphere was casual and trendy. Loved the fire pits. They have a wood fire put out front too, both good for crisp sunny days. A hidden gem!!

Had a group of 40 people. The most beautiful winery in Woodinville. Indoor/outdoor spaces are classy and open. Great event planning staff and day-of. Made it easy to work with outside food vendors. Just wish the lawn games were more accessible from the main space.

The ambiance of this place is on point. It's cozy and has great inside and outdoor areas. In particular, the outside areas are nice for drinking/tasting in several areas, there's a fire pit, and there's also a short (5 min?) walking path to a little pond. The tasting was okiedokie. The tasting we had was their standard and it was a lot of different red blends. I didn't fall in love w any particular wine I tried but I still have to give it up for the beautiful and comfortable space. We also shared a cheese platter and crackers. I believe parking was valet only but free (but of course we tipped our valet). There's only one gender neutral bathroom that we were aware of.

Lovely winery, hidden in Woodinville. The gal pals and I planned a wine day and JM Cellars was where we started. For a group of eight of us we made reservations ahead of time where we had our own table in one of the semi-private rooms. There was only one other large party in the room we were in. For large groups or celebrations I'd highly recommend making a reservation, as the experience is much better than just showing up and being in the central part of the winery. It gets crowded on a Saturday, so the more secluded area we were in was particularly nice. It's a $20 wine tasting fee, where we tasted five different wines. Wine was solid. It's not my favorite wine, but I enjoyed what I tasted. I naturally gravitate towards red wines and much was the case here, as I thought the cabernet sauvignon was the best. The entire space was just beautiful. I love the different private tasting rooms, the outdoor patio and even the maze within the building that I discovered when trying to find a bathroom, because it feels like a large house instead of a winery. JM Cellars is not visible while in Woodinville, as it's up a hill that's off the main drag, so it's nice that they have valet parking here. I'm glad my friends and I began our wine day here, making it a great start to a fun-filled day.

Fantastic experience. Wonderful staff. Very accommodating. Great wine selection and cheese board. Beautiful setting. Will return!

This place is so beautiful. You are treated well when you come here. First they have valet parking since the spot are tricky to get into. Then when you walk in it feels like home (because it is a home). It's cozy with tons of fireplaces. The staff are wonderful, so sweet, and are knowledgeable. Plus they are not pushy with the wine or the wine club like some other places. I think they have one of the best wine club deals. Anyway, when you go to taste each wine, they have a card and you can see how long you can keep it as well as what vineyard it came from. It's just truly one of the best wineries in Woodenville. A must visit! But please remember to check their business hours. I know that's one of the hardest things for wineries in Woodenville.

This is a fun spot for outdoor tasting on a nice day and the Château is a very popular event venue; weddings in particular. The selection of wines are "collaborations" with local wine makers especially Sparkman and Gorman. So, you won't be served a DeLille wine. If you recognize these names you know the wines are good. A little pricey in my mind but that's subjective. I really enjoyed our two servers who were knowledgeable about the wines, of course but also the aspects of the collaborations. And, they didn't hesitate to offer suggestions when we asked about other wineries and tasting rooms we might visit. Why 4 stars instead of 5? Simply because the outdoor tasting facility is rather unrefined (graveled patio, temporary serving station/wine bar and trailer restrooms) due to the fact that it is under construction. I am not qualified to rate the wines.

The place was perfect for a friend get-together, large groups, and small groups! My friend and I both got a white wine tasting flight and even sampled one of the reds as well as a welcome drink! The awkwardness began immediately upon arrival. Our host greeted us with a welcome pour, only to take the glass right out of my hand to ask for our IDs. From there, we were escorted past the lively front of the tasting room all the way to a secluded back room. We assumed it would fill up. It never did, and I truly believe being isolated back there is what set the tone for the lackluster service that followed. Our first server came to introduce herself, and then minutes later, a younger woman came out to announce she was our "real" server. The whole interaction left us feeling profiled for our age, which was frustrating. We are frequent wine tasters and members of multiple wine clubs. We were not the inexperienced guests we were apparently assumed to be. The flight format was not to my preference either. All wines were brought out at once, and our server gave only surface-level explanations of the first three before saying she would return for the last two. Because we were tucked away in the back, she had no way of gauging when we finished, and by the time she came back, we were already ready to leave without ever receiving the last two explanations. The wine itself was not good to me. We ended up dumping most of it. At $60, this was a complete waste, and we will not be returning. I wanted so badly to love this place, and I genuinely wish the experience had been different.

05/24/2026 TASTING…read moreROOM I loved visiting this winery and can't believe I didn't the few other times I traveled to Seattle. They do a summer concert series, and it was the first one of the season. My friend and I got there early, and only one other group had started lining up for VIP. So we went to the tasting room and grabbed seats at the bar. They were offering a $30 "Take Away Flight" with both red and white wine options. I got three reds and the white that they promoted for the summer concert series. All of them were pretty good. I loved how the wine flight was presented (see photo). I would definitely go back just to hang out at the winery next time and drink more. SUMMER CONCERT SERIES I thought the concert would be well organized since this isn't their first time. However, the staff seemed lost when it came to when and where the VIP check-in would be. We had Soundcheck VIP tickets for Yellowcard, and didn't get to go in until like 45 minutes after the scheduled time. So that cut into the VIPs' early entry time. Fortunately we got to the merch tables right before they let general admission in. There were plenty of porta potties. A decent amount of food options. We got a burger and chicken fingers & fries. Of course they offered wine, as well as beer. You also had the option to buy wine bottles at the winery and bring it into the concert area. We sat front row, which had a great view, but it was also right in front of a walkway, so that was a bit annoying. Watching soundcheck and the concert itself was very fun. Overall a good experience, and I would go back!
