    Hummus with Pita

I've had Longboards before but not from this location. The online ordering system was easy and I had zero issues. I arrived 10 minutes prior to the pick up time I indicated so I was ok with waiting a bit. The individuals working there were apologetic about the wait and gave me a cookie for being patient. That was super nice and not required. I ordered the Super A Bomb: Turkey, chicken, bacon, hard-boiled egg, mozzarella, pico de gallo, lettuce and ranch. It was huge! Definitely two meals for me. I really liked the combination of ingredients and I'd definitely order this again. I also got a side of hummus. It came with some grilled pita bread. It was also good and I'd order it again. I like that they have an option that isn't chips. I also got a kombucha. The pineapple ginger was super refreshing. They have several other wraps and bowls that look tasty so I'll definitely return and try some more items.

Longboards Wraps & Bowls is a culinary treasure in Kansas City, offering a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes. Among their standout offerings are the Cabo Beef and Chuck Norris wraps, both of which are exceptional. The Cabo Beef wrap is a harmonious blend of tender beef, fresh vegetables, and flavorful sauces, all encased in a perfectly grilled tortilla. This signature wrap has garnered praise for its freshness and taste, with one reviewer noting, Every single item that I have ever ordered here has been fresh and super tasty! Equally impressive is the Chuck Norris wrap, a bold creation that combines hearty ingredients with a spicy kick, delivering a satisfying and memorable meal. This wrap has been reintroduced to the menu, much to the delight of patrons, as announced on their social media: "The CHUCK NORRIS is back!" Beyond the delectable wraps, Longboards is known for its friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant maintains a high standard of cleanliness, and the service is both efficient and welcoming. Food was very good, fresh ingredients, and friendly staff. Tables were clean and overall had a great experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Longboards Wraps & Bowls is a must-visit destination for a flavorful and satisfying meal. The Cabo Beef and Chuck Norris wraps are particularly noteworthy, offering unique and delicious options that are sure to please.

Longboards is a KC staple. There are so many unique different options with combinations of flavors. I tend to stick to the Cabo chicken wrap. Definitely recommend that for first time visitors. The service at Longboards is quick and all employees I've encountered are friendly and easygoing. There's a good amount of seating for dine in and the restaurant is well kept / clean in my experiences. Longboards has expanded to many locations over the years and most in KC are familiar. Do stop by and give it a try if you've yet to do so. You'll be hooked!

We stopped in here early on a weeknight for dinner. I have heard great things about Longboards and I now know why. I was taken aback at the wide variety of cuisine offerings they have here. There's everything from Mediterranean, Thai, Hawaiian, Mexican, and cuisines from around the world. The decor inside is straight out of 1970s/80s surfer world. It's not hokey either, it actually makes you want to be an old school surfer and go bask in the sun. There are a few vegetarian items on the menu (Tofu and Veggie Noodle Bowl, Hummus and Veggie Quesadilla, Grilled Cheese Quesadilla and sides). I chose the tofu and veggie noodles with Thai peanut and sriracha sauces. It was a good mixture of sweet and spicy over rice noodles covered with veggies and tofu. It was quite good, but there was a large amount of celery in the veggie mix. That being said, I would definitely order it again because it was so tasty. Many of the items could be made vegetarian, but I wasn't sure if they would substitute tofu for any of the other proteins. I'll definitely ask the next time when I go back (because I will).

You know, this place seems cool, I've had it quite a few times through various avenues of tryin' things, but this place really let me down the last few visits. There's just not a good balance of sauce to rice to meat, and it just seems like something not made by a makin' place, but by my cousin, Richie. Richie's a good man, but he makes lame burritos. Maybe add more sauce, maybe thicken the viscosity by 14 percent, I don't know. I got a teriyaki chicken, and I subbed steak, and the steak was a little tough, but the flavor was lacking. You'd expect some kind of marinated flavor, or a good sauce, or something remarkable, but alas, it was not. It's a good value seemingly, at under $10, but the burrito is smaller than larger if that makes sense. They're trying to make it good, that's clear. But the flavor needs a few punches in the right direction, more robustness, something. Just tastes like something Richie made me before we headed off at 4 am for a tractor pull. They're opening one in Overland Park, so I'm excited to try that location. Perhaps they'll do better.

Love this spot! Great employees. Great prices. Amazing choices for wraps and burritos. The one with steak and shrimp was great. I love the mini burrito. Will definitely come back.

Picked up a cabo wrap for lunch today and was not disappointed! The wrap was fresh, yummy, and hit the spot! Next time I'll have to try one of the sauces with my wrap! I went inside to order, service was super friendly and food came out quick. Although I was grabbing a bite to- go, I'd definitely eat in. The restaurant has a chill vibe and plenty of seating.

If you're looking for a good place for wraps and sandwiches in KC, you'll get far more bang for your buck at Twisted Fresh. The wrap options are similar, but Twisted Fresh's ingredients are better quality, the flavors and textures are more vibrant, and the ratio of carbs to veggies to meat is better. The one thing Longboards has going for it are its hot wraps, which Twisted Fresh doesn't do. They're definitely not good for you and they're more rice than anything else, but they've got some great sauces and wrap combinations. If you're going to go to Longboards, I'd recommend the Thai Chicken or the Cabo Chicken/Beef. Both are Longboards staples and safe bets. Some of the lesser known items are less reliable.

Service was great, very friendly staff. Got my order pretty quick and had the wraps out in no time. Ordered the Cabo steak wrap. Great flavor and everything was cooked just right. The lobby was decorated in a pretty cool style and they had reggae music playing in the background. Pretty relaxing and chill. Prices were relatively cheap. Definitely recommend.

Have been wanting to try this place and finally had the chance between games today. Longboards is now my new favorite wrap place. The flavors and options here did not disappoint. The carne asada bowl had a little kick, with lots of flavors. The luau wrap had the rice inside cooked perfectly also amazing flavors. My only critique of the wrap would be depending on what side of the wrap you bit into would decide whether you're going to have a mouthful of pork v.s. rice/veggies. If it was mixed together before the wrap was rolled then you could experience all the flavors at once. Love the environment, it gave relaxing beach vibes. However, the decor is on that fine line where there's too much. While I'm at the counter waiting on food checking out the art, I also noticing thick layers of dust on the decor which starts to make it feel like clutter instead of a clean establishment. Amazing customer service, staff was very friendly and did great with suggestions.

Longboards is a long time favorite! This was my first tine to this location and it was fantastic! I placed an order over the phone and it was ready within 8 minutes!! The guys working were super friendly too!! So glad this location exists. I ordered the orange chicken wrap which is a "cool" one. It's got the perfect amount of sweet yet spicy! It was huge and packed full with chicken rice and veggies!! I would highly recommend longboards in general, but especially this location!

The restaurant itself is cute, peaceful and comfortable. The staff are up and beyond. The wrap I had, I could only eat half. It was huge: huli huli wrap. The chicken was flavorful and bits of pineapple, Romain lettuce and rice made the wrap with 2 meals. Oh and the bathroom-gender neutral with a Dyson dryer. If you visit this location, don't forget to use it. Ofcourse I'll be back. This place is special.

Thank you for this experience…read more Seriously. Because now I know one place I will never come back to. Around 10:30 PM I was sitting in my car trying to decide where to have dinner. I had never been to Hawaiian Bros before, so I figured this was a good chance to finally see what everyone was talking about. Google said you were open until 12:00 AM, so I drove over. I got there around 10:50 PM. Everything looked normal. Or at least I thought so. I spent about fifteen minutes deciding what to order. Only after that was I told some ingredients were already gone, so part of the menu couldn't even be made. Why wasn't that the first thing your employees told me when I walked in? I changed my order. I ordered dine in. Nobody said the dining room would close early. Nobody said I wouldn't be allowed to eat inside. Nobody said a single word. Around 11:15 PM my food came out in plastic containers inside a plastic bag. Strange for dine in, but okay. I was hungry. I sat down. About fifteen minutes later an employee came over and told me I had to leave. I honestly laughed because I thought she was joking. I asked, "Your restaurant closes at midnight, right?" "Yes." "So why am I being asked to leave at 11:30?" "It's company policy." Okay... Show me the policy. It's not on your website. Nobody mentioned it before I ordered. Nobody mentioned it before I paid. Nobody mentioned it while my food was being prepared. The only thing I heard was that I had to leave. Now here's what really bothered me. When I walked in around 10:50 PM, there were four military members sitting inside eating dinner. They stayed inside while I was waiting for my food. Nobody interrupted them. Then a few minutes later, the rest of us were outside eating on benches while the restaurant was still officially open. That made absolutely no sense to me. If the same rules apply to everyone, then apply them to everyone. If your dining room closes before midnight, change the hours. If customers can't eat inside after a certain time, put a sign on the front door. If half the menu isn't available anymore, tell people before they spend fifteen minutes choosing dinner. Don't wait until they've already paid. And definitely don't sell someone a dine-in meal just to send them outside before your posted closing time. The crazy part? The food wasn't bad. The service destroyed the entire experience. I came here expecting dinner. Instead, I got a lesson on how fast a good meal can be ruined by poor management and employees who clearly didn't want customers there anymore. Kansas City has too many restaurants that actually respect the hours they advertise. Next time, I'll spend my money at one of those.
