The dining room is spacious and clean. Friendly service comparing to other fast food Chinese places. This is why I am giving it 3 stars. After reading many positive reviews, I decided to order a few items to try. I got lo mein combo, 3 dishes, and an order of chicken wings. Came out to around $66. I wouldn't mind paying if the food is worth it. It is not. A huge let down. 1. They forgot one of my dishes. And instead of refunding back to my card, they are giving a " restaurant credit" promising they will remember the next time I come in. 2. Walnut Shrimp - I am used to Mayo creamy glaze sauce. I had to call to make sure they gave me the right because the sauce was red. They told me it is their version of the sauce. Red because of spicy flavor. Not spicy at all. Tasted like cocktail sauce. Very disappointed. 3. Kung Pao Chicken - barely any chicken. Lot of peanut and celery. Seems like they replaced the chicken with sorted vegetables and peanut. No flavors. Tasted like the forgot to add in soysauce. I will not be returning.

Pretty good For "fast food" Chinese. The chef made everything fresh in the wok and the ingredients were of high quality. I ordered the chicken with Chinese vegetables and it came with a nice variety of veggies in a tasty brown sauce. Choice of rice and egg roll. Good spot for a quick hot lunch on a chilly day!

Chicken and vegetables, white rice, and crab Rangoon

We tried this restaurant this evening on a whim, and I already can't wait to go back! The crab Rangoon is the best I've had in a long time and the chicken and vegetables was also supper yummy! This is the food pregnancy cravings are made of

The reason for 3/5- I am so disappointed. Out of all the times that I have eaten here I have never…read morebeen disappointed. I usually come here for dim sum, and it is upsetting for me to say that my husband and I should've chose somewhere else to eat for dinner. For dinner, we ordered fried rice and chow fun. Those two main entrées were okay. You can't really mess up those two fillers at an Asian restaurant. We ordered scallion pancakes- they came out soggy and soft. Not even crispy like how they usually are. The flavor wasn't there either. If I wanted microwaved scallion pancakes, then I would've bought them from the store and made them myself. My husband ordered the short ribs- they were bland and tough like rubber. It had a funky taste to it that he couldn't describe and he had to force himself to swallow it because he didn't want food to go to waste. I ordered the chicken feet- this is one of dim sum's signature dishes and I am so upset I didn't even get to enjoy one of the dishes I always order. It was dry and the flavor wasn't there. The service was fantastic. They checked in on us and made sure our water was filled. The timing of the food coming in and out was fine. The ambiance was inviting. There was a sense of urgency and I appreciated that.

You do have…read moreto pull off of a busy road straight into the lot, but it's easy to find in the strip of stores and there were plenty of spaces. By the time I grabbed our food and headed back out, the front spots had already opened up again. We did two lunch specials for around $20 total, which feels like a steal for how much food you get and how good it was. We ordered the Chicken with Cashew and the General Tso's lunch specials, both came with soup and a side. The cashew chicken was seriously incredible. A lot of places overload this dish with veggies until it turns into chaos, but this one was balanced with the right mix of ingredients and is easily one of my new favorites in KC. Only bummer: hardly any cashews. Still delicious, but I wanted a little more cashew love. Crab rangoons were hot and crispy with a solid filling even after a bit of a drive home. The fried rice had great flavor, and the steamed white rice was bouncy and soft, not that kind with crispy dry edges. Both soups were spot on, and THANK YOU for including wonton strips. A lot of places skip them and it really can make or break egg drop soup for me. General Tso's had great flavor, but the chicken pieces were a little big and it wasn't very spicy, even though we didn't order it no spicy. Not a dealbreaker, just something to know if you want that classic kick. Inside is clean and cute with tables for about 8 to 10 small groups, the front desk is toward the back, and everyone was kind and helpful. As an Elite, I also loved seeing their Yelp pride around the restaurant. Overall, super solid lunch specials and I'll absolutely be back!!
