I can't stop recommending Longhorn to anyone who will listen to me. I started my backyard remodel project with a general idea of what I wanted to accomplish - we needed to level the yard, replace and extend a caved in patio, build a retaining wall, remove rock and dirt and replace it with grass, and build benches around trees. Like most people do with major projects, I had a few companies come out to discuss and provide quotes. I was generally underwhelmed and started to think about delaying the project until we met Alfredo. Not only did he listen to my ideas and talk about how to accomplish them, but he came up with additional ideas that were even better suited to our ultimate goal of a family-friendly yard. And then he patiently explained material options so we could make a project that fit within our budget. When it was time to start construction, Tito led an amazing team. They were incredibly professional, and so accommodating to my requests for project tweaks and attention to small details. I really feel like we were given the all-star team. They took their time, and did beautiful work. My small family now has an incredible backyard to grow and play in. Don't bother calling these guys they will waste your time... Two weeks to return the call and then two more weeks and still no call with the estimate... Poor communication means probably poor service...... we had a one week job for them and they didn't even bother to give us a quote. read more

Alfredo, the business owner, responded right away to my inquiry, and came out to see me. The bid took a few days, but he did follow through. Questions answered. Very knowledgeable, very creative. I ended up going with a different business for this project, but I will definitely contact him for the next one. Noteworthy: I contacted six landscaping businesses, both via Yelp and their own websites. When many of them say ON THEIR OWN SITES that they will reply within two business days, everyone ignored me. After reading what great reviews Longhorn Landscaping has, I called Alfredo to get a quote for putting down small rock in flower beds and our side yard. He responded immediately by coming to the house then sent a bid right away. It was a fair price so we agreed, and I'm so glad we did. We are very impressed with this young man and his crew. They are polite, hard workers. Although our job wasn't a large one, they treated us as if it were. It's obvious they take pride in doing a fine, efficient job and even added some special touches to the yard such as a short, paving stone pathway using rock they found in the yard.
