After a year of delays and excuses, the contractor filed for bankruptcy and left us with the footers and framing completed but nothing else. Thankfully, most of the materials were on site with the exception of our lattice tubes. We checked around with several different contractors and felt like they were either trying to price gouge us or didn't have the skill to complete the project at a high level. Then, we contacted Cody at Padgett and Sons. Cody was quick to come out and assess the status of the project and to figure out what materials were needed to complete it. It was clear Cody wanted to make things right for us, so he offered to finish the job at a reasonable cost and was transparent on what the process would entail. We had no hesitation or concern that it wouldn't be completed to the standard we wanted. Even before signing contract, Karan got to work contacting the city to figure out what would be required to get the project completed. Unfortunately, it required cancellation of the existing building permit under the old contractor and applying for a new one. Cody was quick to get the new building plans put together and submitted. Once the plans were approved, Cody sent out a very knowledgeable crew, Bryan and Matt, to finish the job for us. It started with them installing the materials on site and then ordering the missing materials. Once they came in, Bryan and Matt returned to finish the project. By the time the project was done, Bryan and Matt were like old family friends. After the project was complete, Cody and Karan coordinated with the city to have an inspector come out to approve everything. The inspection went smoothly. Our pergola saga started in February 2025. We contracted with Padgett and Sons in April 2026, and the entire job was completed by July 2026. We're blown away with how Cody, Karan, Bryan, and Matt made the time to finish our project. Not just that, they really made sure we were happy with the end result, which we absolutely are! There are a lot of pergola contractors out there but I can tell you from firsthand experience, Padgett and Sons is the real deal. They aren't a fly by night company, and they stand by their work. We can't thank them enough for helping us when we were in a really tough spot. We highly recommend Padgett and Sons to anyone looking for a reliable company to complete their shade structure/pergola project, as they are quality people that deliver beautiful results.

Sin early may Steve has ghosted us , no texts no phone calls. I have reached out to the NV Contractors board and have filed an abandonment case against your company. i asked Steve over a month ago for a refund due to the lack of response and not doing the job as promised. I am regularly having to repair the system as lines are popping off or splitting. this season I will be forced to tear up his work in order to put a regulator before his valves, not pleased.

Requested bids and designs to remove all the grass in the backyard, install sitting walls around trees with flag stone steps and zero scape setting. We wanted 3 mounds with larger rocks around with native plants. The crew started everyday at 7am and worked until 4pm. They were always on time and worked a full day. This job was completed in 2 weeks. They delivered a porta potty, bobcat in front of our home. They put cones for safety. They are very organized, when dirt, rocks were delivered they moved to backyard. Then they swept the street and/or driveway to keep clean. He is very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, respectful, and always offers thoughtful suggestions without being pushy. For this project, he came by about three times and did several things: moved the sink and toilet plumbing about a foot to the left (this was my request because I plan to install a handicap-accessible shower in the future), installed a new cabinet and toilet, mounted a mirror with hidden electrical, replaced outdated lighting with recessed lighting, and handled drywall work and prep for paint. Check out the before and after pics! 2) Garbage disposal replacement: I called him on a Friday, and we were able to schedule for Monday. He showed up right on time, finished in about 20 minutes, and cleaned everything up afterward. He's efficient, professional, and just genuinely nice to work with. Imagine if you needed to call for an installation issue or repair. He might just avoid you. I even told him when I got him on the phone from my work line that if he couldn't do the job it was okay, just let me know so I can move on. I just think that is a sign of what you might get for a follow up. So my suggestion for improvement is don't be afraid to say that you are not right for that particular job. It happens and then there would not be a reason to review. Disappointed because I like to support local businesses. If there was a zero star I would give that for the lack of respect to customer.

Jose was great. His men did an excellent job of removing existing driveway pavers, repacking the base and installing existing pavers. They made sure all irrigation lines were not damaged and if so were repaired. They arrived on time and were pleasant to work with. Due to some family issues, I didn't pick out my own pavers. I just described a color scheme I was interested in and Rafael did the rest. Jose and his team arrived on Monday morning and they worked like a well oiled machine. Each man had a job to do and they did it. No wasted time chatting or planning. In Nov/Dec 2025, Nevada Pavers & Stone completely renovated our front yard, and I can say they do…read moregreat work at very reasonable prices. We decided to switch from a yard full of grass to a mostly-xeriscaped yard. The project included removing the existing grass, shrubs, sprinklers, concrete walkway and water lines and replacing them with pavers, rock, creek bed pebbles, shrubs, boulders, decorative lighting, drip system, electrical lines attached to timers, a mailbox pillar, and an additional step added to the entryway. After researching many companies and interviewing four, we ended up choosing Nevada Pavers & Stone. Rafael, the owner, spent a lot of time with us to determine exactly what we wanted and he was also very patient as we requested changes both before the project started and during the renovation, clearly stating if a change was included or if it would be an additional cost so there would be no surprises. Once he and his crew started the job, they did not want to stop until they finished. I mention this because often contractors will start a project, only to leave in the middle of it to work on someone else's project then return at a later date. We appreciated that this was not the case with Nevada Pavers & Stone. The crew was ready to work by 8 a.m. every morning, sometimes earlier. They worked hard all day, every day (at times they were actually jogging when transferring materials from the truck to the yard) and were respectful of our property and our neighbors' property, cleaning up as they went and at the end of each workday. They were also professionals - they knew what was expected and how to do it, and we never heard loud voices, questionable language, or loud music (in fact I did not hear any music at all, which I would not have minded). The project included many drip lines and electrical wire being run for shrubs and lighting, all of which are nicely hidden as they were buried under the new ground cover. Rafael also built a pillar for our mailbox, to which he added a decorative light on top and lighted address numbers on the front. We are very happy with our front yard. If you need a landscape design company, Nevada Pavers & Stone, LLC should be on your very short list of companies to contact.

My backyard was a disaster-overgrown weeds, diseased grass and dead bushes. Jose came in and gave me a very fair estimate to fix my backyard. We pulled up all the dead grass and did a simple xeriscaping design to give my yard a fresh new look. He came when he said he would come, cleaned up beautifully when the job was completed and I am so happy with the results. If I have any other landscaping needs I will definitely call Jose again.
