In Nov/Dec 2025, Nevada Pavers & Stone completely renovated our front yard, and I can say they do great work at very reasonable prices. We decided to switch from a yard full of grass to a mostly-xeriscaped yard. The project included removing the existing grass, shrubs, sprinklers, concrete walkway and water lines and replacing them with pavers, rock, creek bed pebbles, shrubs, boulders, decorative lighting, drip system, electrical lines attached to timers, a mailbox pillar, and an additional step added to the entryway. After researching many companies and interviewing four, we ended up choosing Nevada Pavers & Stone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Rafael, the owner, spent a lot of time with us to determine exactly what we wanted and he was also very patient as we requested changes both before the project started and during the renovation, clearly stating if a change was included or if it would be an additional cost so there would be no surprises.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once he and his crew started the job, they did not want to stop until they finished. I mention this because often contractors will start a project, only to leave in the middle of it to work on someone else's project then return at a later date. We appreciated that this was not the case with Nevada Pavers & Stone. The crew was ready to work by 8 a.m. every morning, sometimes earlier. They worked hard all day, every day (at times they were actually jogging when transferring materials from the truck to the yard) and were respectful of our property and our neighbors' property, cleaning up as they went and at the end of each workday. They were also professionals - they knew what was expected and how to do it, and we never heard loud voices, questionable language, or loud music (in fact I did not hear any music at all, which I would not have minded). The project included many drip lines and electrical wire being run for shrubs and lighting, all of which are nicely hidden as they were buried under the new ground cover. Rafael also built a pillar for our mailbox, to which he added a decorative light on top and lighted address numbers on the front. We are very happy with our front yard. Wow, we cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Nevada Pavers and Stone. NV Pavers removed our 1960s-built retaining walls and driveway and completely transformed our property. The biggest takeaways are that NV Pavers provides an extremely high quality product at a very competitive price. First of all let me say that we spent a few months gathering bids and reading reviews before committing to Nevada Pavers. Rafael, his brother Juan, Robert and the rest of the crew were amazing! We had them put on in a 6 foot high block retaining wall and lay 1000 sf of pavers. They were extremely professional and exceeded our expectations. They not only were able to accommodate our every request put also ended up replacing our sprinkler system, laying new sod in the front and back of our home and kept us updated on a timeline throughout the process. They always left the job site clean and tidy at the end of the day. It was amazing to have someone give a fair and honest bid and not try to jack up the price. This company did good work. They built a rock wall for me and poured a concrete patio. Turns out they are not licensed to do concrete work and never told me. Using them has created huge issues for me. They damaged the foundation on my house. Amages my sprinkler system which they said they would fix. Didn't complete the agreed upon work. I have sections of my house now exposed to the elements and need to find more contractors to repair their work. And tried to charge me for work they were unpermitted to do that ended up costing me 3 times as much to fix. I would steer clear of this company! As a side not they would start doing work, wouldn't contact me at all and I would have to go out every single day they were here to clarify the work they were doing to make sure it was as we originally agreed. This was tedious in itself. I also had my concrete stamped, the stamping was incorrect and when I asked them to fix it they said its too hard to fix it and its better if they finish even though they had literally only laid the same into the concrete once. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. UPDATE: I have contacted the owner, and after begging and harassing me to remove my review the issues still stand. I asked to not meet up and he kept insisting that he come to my house to see the problems. I normally wouldn't have a problem with this but I do not want to deal with this company any longer. I offered to send pictures of the problems but that was not good enough. Its easier to work with other companies. read more

Specially Maria and Rafael are very bad with service commitment and did very poor job with my $16000 project in landscaping. within 6 months so much bad news like trees died, sprinkler systems whole front yard leaking and costing me another thousands with different company as Maria didnot schedule within the warranty year. We got 5 bids and his was the only company that cements the edges rather than metal edging. He came up with the design and we love it. His crew came earlier than expected and finished very quickly.
