Now, technically, it's not hidden: it's perched on the south bank of one of Brownwood's busiest thoroughfares, but it's a humble building with a little green sign. What's inside, however, is a nice pair of proprietors and, most importantly, Blanton's Whiskey sold at retail. I got one of two bottles (with the letter "A" on the ornate cork, for those of you who collect Blanton's stoppers) from the shelf. Every inch of shelf space is accounted for here and the selection is surprisingly broad and deep for a small store. These people clearly care about their customers. I'm only in Brownwood once or twice a year, but I'll assure you those visits will include a stop at Classic.

We were greeted by the winemaker when we entered and she was more than happy to let us sample a few of the wines to see which bottle we wanted to buy. They also have a menu of delicious small plates of appetizers. We tried the Stuffed Figs, Salmon Toast, Brie Puffs and the Sweet and Spicy Salmon toast between the two days we visited. All of the dishes were amazing. Maybe the best thing of all is that 10 Mile is dog friendly so our pug was able to come in and relax with us!

I was with a friend of mine who had no idea this awesome little spot was even around. From the time you drive in to the property you feel like you are being transported to a whole different place. It is absolutely beautiful. We were the only ones there and it was so nice to sit outside and enjoy the birds and beautiful scenery while we had our wine. I ordered a glass of their Tempranillo and my friend ordered the Comanche Rose. Both were absolutely delish. We were greeted at the door and she was very knowledgeable about all the different wines they had. Which is great because a lot of times it doesn't happen like that. I was a member of a neighboring wine club but I leave half the year and they couldn't store my wine. Brennan said no problem! They will keep mine wine until I return. We had a charcuterie board and it was really good! The people working at the winery are top notch! The ambiance is great. Brian was in the tasting room and Marsha called me the next day after signing up for the wine club.

Opened the Yelp app and discovered a nearby cafe with not very many, but all good, reviews. We could tell we were close when all the cars in town were gathered in one spot - the Priddy Store. Inside there were perhaps 5 tables, a small selection of groceries and a kitchen that was busy serving up food to their customers.
