I have visited here several times. I like longhorn but the quality over the years. Like so many other locations has declined.

Small sample of what the entire floor looked like...throughout the entire restaurant. I have never seen a filthier restaurant. Food and trash all over the floor from the entrance to the back. Food under our table and in our seat. The appetizer was warm at best BUT served with plates that although they had recently been washed still had food on them. The place was busy and the waitress was kind and had a goo attitude BUT, hire someone to just keep the place clean. read more

It took over an hour from the time we placed our order until our food was ready for pickup. To be fair, it was a very busy Wednesday night, so that likely played a big part. Just a heads up--there's a side door you go through to pick up your order, as they don't bring it out. We also never received a text letting us know it was ready, which was a little confusing. Wow! This was incredible. Had the baked potato soup and probably should have stopped there. Wasn't bad. Then ordered the chopped steak with mashed potatoes. Supposed to also come with a salad according to their menu. Let's put out there that I was sitting at the bar. Soup comes out nice and hot. Entree comes out. No napkin and no silverware. So used my spoon from the soup. Mashed potatoes were drenched in butter. Like it made movie popcorn look dry. The mushrooms in the mushroom sauce were whole instead of sliced and tasted like they weren't washed. This is bar far one of the worst meals I ever had. read more

Stopped by this restaurant on way back from Atlanta; wait time not too long, though we were informed at first that there would be no wait time; hostess attitude was a bit lacking in pleasantries, but not overtly rude. We were seated within 15 to 20 minutes. Our waitress was fantastic! We received our orders in a timely manner, and everything was good. We started the meal off with the cheesy spinach dip that came with warm and tasty pita chips. We also ordered spicy chicken bites, which were delish. Of course, no eating is complete at Longhorn's without the complimentary yummy bread! For my "main meal" I simply ordered the shrimp and lobster chowder, along with a small strawberry/pecan salad (hearty portion for a side item). I noted though that my soup was starting to get watery as it became less hot. It seems that though the soups are served hot and very creamy, as the soup cools down, it is less and less creamy. :o) In any case, my mom ordered the grilled salmon, my daughter had the parmesan-crusted chicken, and my husband ordered a burger. Very friendly and welcoming. They are always very busy yet fast and efficient service. I've been here 5-6 times and it's always been great.

So of course I came in for just a drink, I don't really do too much ordering when it comes to restaurant chains and food. I think the bartenders name was Amber or Amanda I low key forgot. The bar was clean, the restaurant didn't have many people but there was way more action at the bar and the surrounding tables. The bartender didnt have to serve the surrounding booths so she wasn't that busy. My drink, the Texas Long Horn Margarita was good but not better than the other locations I've visited. At this point I just sit back and observe, I don't complain or say much because everything just goes into a review. The experience was quick and even though it wasn't memorable, it also wasn't bad so that's a plus. read more

This is the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. I ordered a medium rare sirloin steak with broccoli and my broccoli was missing. The steak was significantly undercooked and barely seared. They took it back and brought out my broccoli. The broccoli was barely cooked and cold so they took it back. Then the second steak they bring out looked the same so they took it back. By the third steak, I realized it was the worst tasting steak I've ever tried. The manager never came out and Longhorn didn't even discount the meal. Unbelievable. read more

Food was good , service decent BUT they keep the bar area so cold it is not tolerable. We came here in December, they had the AC on blowing cold air. We asked them to please adjust. They didn't and decided not to come back because we were so miserable due to the temperature. Today we gave it another chance and nothing has changed . Very same today. Even the bar tenders say they have complained and they still Keep it too cold. To spend this much money and have a miserable experience is not acceptable. We won't be back. I came here after a long day of travel due to it being close to my hotel. When we got there and sat down it took a while for a server to come. I was finally getting up to let someone know we were there and the server finally appeared. Henry's service was great. After we ordered our food we waited a really long time for..Henry came over and reassured us two different times that our food would be out soon. The person I was with, food came out and then I sat there and waited as the server told me the kitchen made my food wrong two different times. After eating I decided to order a drink..then I wanted another one and was told that the bartender isn't serving anymore and she already did last call. I had the server go back to her and tell the bartender I never got last call so I don't see why I can't get a drink. He came back and said you can ask her she's right there but she said she's done. So I asked for the manager. When Melissa (manager) came over she was extremely rude from the start and didn't even want to hear me out..immediately telling me that she can't serve me because it's past closed. I told her I would have had my drink if the server didn't have to go back to the bartender and ask if I can get a drink 2 different times. She said well technically per Georgia state law I can't serve you more than one drink at a time...meanwhile the person sitting across from me has 2 beers sitting in front of him. She goes, "I don't know why the server did that" instead of trying to back her server up..she completely threw him under the bus. That is not manager/team material if you're not standing by your employees. After we kept going back in forth..I said well technically you guys didn't check my ID either so per Georgia state law, that should be happening so if we want to play technicalities let's play it both ways. The poor server stood there in Aw because he couldn't figure out why everyone was giving me such a fight about a shot. All I wanted was a last call like everyone else in there. They didn't even have to make any cocktails or dirty anymore equipment. I literally just wanted a shot. Not sure why the bartender had such an attitude about serving a drink when she had a full bar to clean and still people in the restaurant. Ultimately, it was an awful experience and I feel bad for Henry that he has to deal with that awful bartender and manager giving him such a hard time. Traveling for work, I stopped in to have dinner and possibly watch the NFL Draft at the bar. As I sat down, I noticed the other 8-10 customers at the bar did not have food, drinks, or menus in front of them. Everyone was pleasant chatting or on their phones, being very patient. The bar tender let us know it would be a little while and everyone again was understanding. After about 15 min, all we had were then menus, so I got up and went to the Outback, which was very good, service and food. read more

SERVICE AND FOOD WAS NASTY!!! We came for my friend birthday dinner and the server was just terrible. First we did not get silverware the silverware and plates was DIRTYYYY... We got the bread before our silverware and the bread was COLD AND HARD... My friends ribs tasted like the animal itself... So sad. Rainy Saturday night. We called ahead to reserve a time / table for 3 people. Upon arrival we were told a 2 hour wait. After speaking with on duty manager we were seated 45 minutes later. It took a server about 15 minutes to come see us for the first time. Drinks then took 10 minutes. About 1 hour and 20 minutes after arriving we were finally asked to place our order. 45 minutes later our food arrived. Cold, dry, wrong .... I just didn't eat. The servers were great but the management there is totally apathetic and laughed at me like I was trying to hustle 18 dollars from her. Side note, my company pays for my meals so theres no reason for me to do so. I did not receive an apology or even anything else to eat as compensation. It was my birthday, so I decided to treat myself. Ordered the ribeye, loaded baked potato, house salad with blue cheese dressing, and raspberry tea. My waitress, Mia, brought out a fresh baked loaf of bread, and freshly made tea. So good! Salad was nice and crisp, dressing was tasty. Steak was perfect for me at medium rare, and the baked potato was huge, loaded with goodies too. Best Longhorn's I have been to. I must have hit the steakhouse lotto here since quite a bit of the reviews aren't very good. I came early, at 5pm, so maybe that's why. I will be back during my work contract here! read more

I like Long Horn, their salmon is usually delicious, and I can't remember ever being disappointed with their service. All that changed this evening. The service was awful, I waited nearly an hour to get served. When the salmon arrived, it was undercooked. I'll eat at Long Horn again, but not this one. read more

We eat at Longhorns in Albany Ga at least 4 times a week. We always sit at the bar and get the best service. We love all the bartenders, but Brenda, Stormi, and Candice are our favorites. So disappointed! Went for my birthday dinner tonight. We sat at the bar, usually good service there. First of all, they did not have my usual wine choice. I took a chance, fortunately did not get a long pour, as it was a yucky wine. Settled for a Sangria. It was good, but not worth the cost. Finally ordered, but took a while for food to be delivered. Salad delivered, immediately followed by our meal. Salad should have been delivered with time to enjoy before entree before entree had time to get cold. Not once was bread offered. Would have loved some extra butter for my potato but was never asked how my meal was once it was delivered. As it was my birthday, my husband inquired about birthday offerings. They said a scoop of ice cream ... so he asked for one to go. Sat and sat, then husband finally asked again for a bill. Much much much higher than expected. I generally have good experiences at LongHorn. This night was a cold night with a long wait outside. It was the Friday night before a Saturday Valentine's and many couples were out, but I was just out with a buddy and he decided he wanted to eat here. It was a 45-minute wait, so we took a stroll to Target for about 30 minutes with the buzzer. When we finally sat down to eat it was a fair wait for the server to introduce herself. Kayla was her name and she was a bit timid, but seemed okay. I ordered a sweet tea with lemon and my buddy had a water and a Montana Mule. He raved about them before we arrived. He described it as a Jim Beam with a ginger soda and a lime. I'm not sure how that sounds to most people, but it sounds disgusting to me. We had to wait quite a while for any of the honey wheat bread to arrive and, when it did, they only gave us half of a loaf. After we ordered and everything we requested more and Kayla advised us that it was going to be a bit because the bread is frozen and then cooked. I'm not sure we were meant to know that. Either way my sweet tea arrived without lemon and it was positively nasty. I should have just requested a water, but I waited til she returned and I requested the lemons I originally ordered. I added some lemon juice to my tea and it was still pretty nasty. I can't pinpoint what the problem was with it exactly, but it didn't taste fresh. I never finished the glass. My buddy ordered a Wild West Shrimp appetizer for us. It came at the appropriate time and it was pretty good, but it was very greasy and soggy. I don't think they had the heat up high enough on the oil or they just didn't drain it properly. I ordered the 11 oz ribeye with a baked potato with just butter and sour cream. I ordered it medium rare and I asked for some creamy horseradish on the side. My entree arrived without the horseradish, but the waitress followed shortly with it in a small bowl before I ever asked for it. The steak was cooked well, but it lacked any real sear. The meat just looked plain across, but it was cooked as I ordered it. It did lack any seasoning, though. It just needed some salt and maybe some cracked pepper to bring out some of the flavor a bit more, but it was lacking. I added some table salt to the steak and it was just right. The baked potato could have used some more sour cream, but the waitress didn't really come by enough to make any requests, so I just ate everything. Overall it was a good 4 out of 5 on the food considering it is a chain restaurant. My friend had the same thing basically, but he ordered his steak with a parmesan crust. It came out with a load of cheese on top broiled to a liquid goodness and a flaky brown crust. He said it was very delicious and he paid a compliment with a clean plate. The worst Longhorns I have ever seen . Called at 1100 am to see about a reservation for 6 pm dinner for a large party . Was told must call back at 5 pm for 1 hour and to be put on list . Called at 500 and told large party ahead of us at that time . Arrived at 5 22 pm and waited over 2 hours when decided to leave after being told they were waiting for a party of 27 to leave . One of the members of our party went to talk to one of the members of the party of 27 that she knew . That table had broken up and they were seating smaller parties. We were still waiting and being told at least another hour . We left after being totally frustrated and at 9pm at another restaurant we received a phone call from Longhorn that our table was ready . They made no attempts to accommodate. We will never visit the Albany Ga Longhorn Steakhouse again . And that makes us sad because we love Longhorns and a birthday celebration was ruined . read more

Longhorn is not a place I would typically choose on my own accord for several reasons, but I ate here twice while working in Albany for about a month when my coworkers were going out, and my experiences here were actually pretty pleasant. The ambiance is nice, if a little overdone. They have some really beautiful paintings, but the cowboy theme is very aggressive. Prices are SUPER high, so be prepared for that. The food is actually very good, so the prices are almost worth it. I've ordered the fried pickles, stuffed mushrooms, and salmon dinner, all of which were amazing. The service both times I went was WONDERFUL. One of the managers took a photo of a painting I liked and printed it out on nice glossy paper, which was just above and beyond. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating as well. Overall, I wouldn't come here based on my own personal preference, but the food is tasty and the service is excellent, so I'd recommend it to others looking for a hearty meal, if they don't mind spending a few extra bucks. read more

Our waiter was Jackson and he was absolutely fantastic! He was very friendly, made sure we had everything we needed and never let our glasses get empty before offering a refill. Jackson didn't know it but tonight was our 9th wedding anniversary and our experience was 1000% better because of him. Yesterday around 5:30 PM we stopped to eat since it did not seem to be packed with cars. Walked in and there was about 10 peoples sitting in the seats waiting to be taken to a table. There were numerous empty tables and I said why are you still sitting here? There are waiting for waiters and waitresses to show up for work? This was the second time this has happened to us. This is also poor management on the higher ups and who they hire. For sure we will go to Tifton from this day forward. A disappointing day of appetizers. Haven't been here in a while and now I remember why. The cheese curds were lukewarm and not very tasty. The calamari was lukewarm and just ok. The new wings were hot and seasoned well. I had ordered a cup of the potato soup; however sent it back when it arrived at my table cold. Needless to say, I won't be back for another 6 months.
