What a beautiful wedding weekend!…read more Thank you for letting us host our wedding here this summer! We were so lucky with the weather, keeping cool with just a short shower just before the ceremony. Everything was so green, the lake crystal clear for our wedding photos, and oh the food! The barn is a beautiful venue, with naturally colored beams and stained glass windows hanging over our party. We draped the banisters and beams with vines and placed battery pillar candles along the walls. Gail and Pecco had beautiful lighted stars already hanging from the top beams. It was magical all the way up to the fireworks at the end of the night, thanks again to another talented resident of Andover (just ask Pecco). The gardens and field were the perfect places to hold our rehearsal dinner in the tent and setup the ceremony by the apple trees. They have a natural wood/vine arbor installed which we decorated with fresh sun flowers and greenery from the Blossom Shop (also amazing!). I can actually share what it looked like, since weddingwire used our setup for their virtual tour: weddingwire.com/biz/the-... Aside from the venue being pristine, Chef Brian MacKenzie (brianmackenziecatering.c...) and AJ (Brothers House of Smoke) put on a culinary show for three days through the weekend. Everyone said this was the best wedding food ever, which was corrected to simply: the best food ever. We had smoked brisket and barbecue the first night, to gazpacho and filet the next, ending with a beautiful brunch spread. If you are looking for the perfect New Hampshire weekend getaway or intimate wedding weekend, we highly recommend this place!

We arrived around 7 PM after an easy 3 hour drive from the Cape. Patrick enthusiastically welcomed us. We had brought our dinner and wine and he set us up in a little table, providing wine glasses and offering us homemade cookies for dessert. These little touches meant a lot. The Inn from the outside, is quaint. Inside it's got little touches to create a warm welcoming vibe. This place is perfect for families with the game room and indoor pool. The common area had a game room and small library (old titles). The big screen TV was used most of the night of our stay by some cute kids. Our room was small and featured a double bed which was a bit tight for us. The bathroom was equipped with L'Occitaine apothecaries. Such a nice touch. The shower was hot and there were plenty of towels. One thing Patrick alerted us to was, the place is not quiet. He was right. Doors slammed and voices could be heard easily. You could hear water running, toilets flushing and more. With that said, we went with the flow and by bed time, it was silent. We are used to B & B's so expected this noise factor. Thankfully, our neighbors went to bed early. The room rate included homemade breakfast. They serve delicious gourmet tea and good coffee. There was homemade muffins (wish they were hot). I chose an omelette and my boyfriend chose the egg sandwich. Our server was really sweet and did everything to insure our experience was wonderful. The food was good and filling. We departed at 8 AM to hit the slopes for first tracks. The only negative was the smell of pot pourri that permeates the public areas. I am highly sensitive to smells and was uncomfortable. Thanks Patrick for being a kind host.

We had a very small ceremony outside. The grounds are breathtaking and the rooms extraordinary. The food was outstanding from a scrumptious breakfast to an outstanding barbecue for our guests. He was always present to lend a hand. The weekend was a huge success thanks to Patrick, his staff and the beauty of the New Hampshire Mountain Inn, most certainly a place to you must stay.

Charcoal grills, clothesline for hanging suits/ towels. floors needed a severe sweep/mop immediately upon arrival. No extra linens for pullout sofa that's seen far better days.- privacy is lacking as window curtains do not cover windows in their entirety- put up towels (neighboring Cottages are close) parking is lax as next door cabins appeared to use both sides for parking. Grounds are plentiful for kids to move about. Overall fairly priced however things like privacy are a must at any cost!

Tearing this place down will be a great improvement to say the least. We booked for 3 nights but left after the 2nd night as we were afraid of picking up a disease. The place was filthy. The coffee maker didn't work (not that I would have used it anyway), the pots & pans were filthy as well. We didn't shower the entire time there. The water pressure was non existent. The game room was locked up leaving a set of horse shoes outside for the only entertainment. Overall, the place sucked big time and was not worth 1/4 of the price. The owners had clearly given up on the place and should feel guilty taking anyone's money. Too bad, we stayed here 5-6 years ago with different owners it was great.

The bridal suite for preparations was good size and - what can I say - it's the little things! They had a sewing kit available, safety pins, bobby pins, hair spray, combs, brushes, spray deodorant, razors, lotions, pads, tampons - EVERYTHING - that was something that might be needed!! And the view in the back for pictures was GORGEOUS!! The staff were amazing!! Coming down and bringing a snack platter, asking if we wanted something to drink (alcoholic or non). Very considerate and happy to do all that they could to make the event special and as stress-free as possible. They were the most accommodating people we have met! My other daughter was in charge of the decorating and said working with the place and staff was wonderful. Very few, if any, restrictions on decorating. They allowed her to go in days ahead of time to start decorating. (This was dependent upon any other functions, but we were lucky that there were no others at the time) And the food!! What can I say except that it was EXCEPTIONAL!! And they even catered to one of our guests that needed gluten free -making sure that the marinade of the steak was gluten free or they would cook her a separate steak without the marinade, and without us asking, they even made her gluten free biscuits!! And we brought this up to them only a couple of days prior and they happily accommodated! If anyone is looking for a venue for any event, I HIGHLY recommend Mojalaki Country Club.

It's in Belmont about an hour from Ossipee Lake and about a half an hour from Lake Winnipesaukee. It's a cute set up with a few tenting sites as well as a majority of RV and cabin sites. Definitely a seasonal place we're regulars spend their time. Quiet hours are after 10pm and fire had to be out before midnight. There are privacy fences around the few tent sites. When we forgot our paddles for one of our kayaks they let us use one for free. They had paddle boards and kayak rentals as well. The beach area was as nice as it could be but it did have a lot of floaties and a good amount of guck on the bottom. It wasn't a deep lake and it was filled with river weed and plant like to the surface just after the beach. Definitely don't want to fall in out of the beach area ! The owners hand delivered ice and fire wood whenever we called the front office, among other things. They wouldn't take our tips either. They even had a small store. All in all the place is cute, the owners are nice and when we were in last minute jam they were very accommodating !!

This year was the first year that mangy was horrible as the camp ground was sold to modern America and it use to be a family owned camp ground . No one was ever there to meet us to check us in or there when we had to return the gate key . The first visit my uncle who is handicap the bathroom shower seat broke when he was on it , one of the mgt was there and did nothing but put a sign on the bathroom "use caution shower seat broke " 5 weeks later they kinda fixed it. We started a fire and half the ground from the site went up as the site was full of pine needles and leaves that were never cleaned up. We were asked to move our car from the overflow parking lot when the same lady told us to put it there. The last night of our stay in Oct of 2023 there was domestic with a gun at the entrance and not one person of mgt was there but my husband was with the police. I am so upset with modern America They every went as far as not renewing another family memebers seasonal because she asked very nicely when they thought the shower seat would be fixed (after 4 weeks) she politely stated there are lots of elderly and disabled in the park an she was just wondering .
