I just want to give a shout-out to Dave and Stacy of Longship RV Support. I have had an Aqua-Hot problem with my motorhome since new. I have owned it for about 7 months now. Dave and Stacy came to my RV site and, in just a couple of hours, had it working the way it should. This is after I spent a Month at a dealership and had about 75% of the parts in the unit replaced. I do not normally give praise to companies for doing what they say they do, as it is expected, but Longship was outstanding. Dave and Stacy were at my site exactly at the time we agreed on, and even setting up an appointment was great. Dave's workmanship is OUTSTANDING! This is not something I say very often as I'm a retired engineer, but he totally impressed me. His knowledge of the system was also well above what one would expect from a mobile repair guy. I have been all over this great country with my RVs, and I can truly say that the people in and around Sevierville, TN, who have an RV of any sort, are very lucky to have a company like Longship in the area! read more

I needed a place to stay while working over the road and was getting pretty tired of living out a suitcase in a motel so I had this brilliant brainy idea to buy a camper after all how hard could it be? (lol) Well, needless to say if you don't know what you're doing it can be disastrous but when you have a husband and wife team that own a RV repair company in the neighborhood also known as Longship RV and repair Camper life just got a whole lot easier especially when I call and they're able to take care of me that same day or for sure the next. David Houg with Longship RV Repair in Sevierville, TN helped me figure this out! HE IS THE BEST!! He is an Aqua-Hot certified repair person. He reached out within 2 minutes after my FB post needing help. He spent over an hour on a Sunday afternoon doing video chat with my hands and his brain. I'm in Clover, SC. Per his instruction I showed pics, tested, metered, pushed a couple buttons and other stuff. Long story short it was the DC High Limit Thermostat switch. I pushed the reset button on it even though it was not out. That apparently did the trick. It is working as it should now and I will be checking on it every hour or so just to make sure its not going to act up again. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND DAVID HOUG!! Dave is very professional and knowledgeable. I hired him to do an inspection on an RV I am looking at buying. I live in Las Vegas and the RV is located in Tennessee. I needed him to be my eyes and ears on the ground. The inspection was very thorough and the numerous pictures he sent gave me an accurate depiction of the condition of the RV. We are very happy to have met David at Long Ship mobile RV service. We are staying at a local campground in Clinton and our washer dryer combo went out in the RV. I called to schedule an appointment for the next day; which I was happy with to begin with however the dispatcher at Long ship mobile realized that they were already at the RV park where we were staying so they came right over and diagnosed the problem. My washer and dryer was 19 years old and although he could probably work on it, he knew that there would not be any parts available. His suggestion was to buy a new one at Camping World in Knoxville which we did. He picked it up for us, delivered and installed it the following day. Super great people in the office and David was a delight! Sure wish that we had a business like this in California where we live! read more

We were one month in to a five month cross country trip, headed for Florida and 90+ degree weather when our a/c went out in Pigeon Forge. We called at 5:30pm, they were at our site first thing the next morning - and we had a new a/c unit installed and running within 24 hours of our initial call. Amazing - we didn't even need to alter our travel schedule, they came to us and the cost was reasonable. Great people, outstanding customer service. Highly recommend! read more
