I bought my cub cadet mower from these amazing people almost 2 years ago. I would leave them six stars if possible. I have had personal dealings with Dakota and Cody. They are amazing at customer service. Cody, one of the owners, actually spent over an hour of his time, showing me how to do general maintenance and didn't charge me for it, amazing. Dakota has such an incredible can-do attitude. After the recent storms, they were backlogged over three weeks and couldn't replace my mower deck spring but instead of turning me away, he sold me the part and gave me perfect instructions on how to do it myself. It's this kind of amazing attitude of not just saying no when it's easy but rather go the extra mile, and figure out a solution to my problem. I recently picked up my Echo cs310 chainsaw that I purchased from LL&G approx. 1 year ago (march/22). I brought it in because the chain jumped and when I tried to remove the cover. One nut came off while the other was stuck and the stud turned out. I brought in to have the stud fixed. He asked if I wanted the chain sharpened and I said yes if needed. This saw being a little over a year in age and buying it from here I thought it might have had some form a warranty. Boy was I wrong. Somehow, they worked in a $78 charge for work that in my view should have been covered under warranty and for work not authorized. They replaced my chain without a call or text when I only authorized a sharpening not a replacement which resulted in a $25 chain. Not to mention the half hour labor I was charged. I guess I should be happy they only charged half of their $85/hr labor rate. I also never received a notification that my saw was done. I stopped by after not hearing from them for a little over a week to check on it. They got 2 stars because buying wasn't nearly like this experience. I won't be back for new equipment nor service as it appears I don't have a warranty anyway. So when I left after picking up my saw I promptly went somewhere else to purchase my echo pas-225 weed trimmer that I had planned on getting while picking up my saw. Sad, the buying experience was pretty darn good and I think because of that I expected more from service. read more

I've used them on more than one occasion for both my mother's, and my lawn equipment in the past. Each time, I've ended up having to fix the problem myself or get someone else to fix it. I think it could be a female thing, because I haven't heard any complaints from men, and have from other women, but regardless, I won't be back. The last time I sent my riding mower in for spring tune up, they sent it back with too much oil and it was dirty old oil, the blades hadn't been sharpened much less changed, and tgey charged me close to $200. I didn't check the spark plugs & belts, but considering everything else, I feel certain those weren't done either. When I drove it for tge first time - immediately after they dropped it off, it had huuge clouds of white smoke coming out of it and chugged like it would die at any second. When I tried to drive it up a small hill, (that I regularly mowed) it did die. I called the company and the manager had it brought back to the shop, but I still ended up changing my own oil! They take your money but they don't do the work. read more

The only reason I gave this company a 2 star rating is because of the service department, one particular person was very helpful. The reason why the rating is so low is because of the front desk personnel, one particular older gentleman in a black shirt. This employee was very disrespectful and has a major attitude, he acted like my service problem didn't matter, he treated me as if he had a chip on his shoulder and was taking it out on me, the customer. I had to bit my tongue and not react back to him. His behavior was uncalled for and unexceptionable. I will NEVER return back to this place of business, I'm sorry if someone is having a bad day, but don't take it out on a customer. read more

I just picked up my mower from Longview Lawn & Garden and it works better than new. The mower vibrated so bad because of broken bolts holding the engine to the deck. They changed the oil, put the missing bolts in, cleaned the carb and put a new gasket on the crankcase. The price for the repair was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this company no matter what brand of mower you are using. My Lawn Boy is good for a few more years. read more
