They were extremely inconsiderate toward my mother--who is 92 years old and in poor health who arrived on time for her scheduled appointment with the podiatrist, Dr Yu. The staff member, G Yu was very insensitive toward my mom. I tried to explain to G Yu that my mother had an open wound on her back and was in pain; despite having arrived punctually for her scheduled appointment, she was left waiting for over an hour and was the last patient to be seen. I was attempting to kindly intercede on behalf of my mother, who suffers from dementia and cannot speak for herself. G Yu completely disregarded my concerns and in retaliation she told me not to bring my mother back again. G. Yu appears to be the person in charge of the facility--the one who initiated the despicable act of patient abandonment--since the doctor simply complied when she asked him to discharge my mother and hand over her discharge papers. They are clearly in violation of ACA and HIPAA. I would like to remind this family medicine practice that they are not in China. We are in the United States of America, and people here have the right to be treated with respect and fairly. They advertise this website that does not exist: www.advancedmedicalfootcare.org. I would not recommend them at all!

The chaotic office for check in and check out, failure of everyone to confirm current medications, not having a fully operational patient portal, and failure to provide the expected prescription aren't what I expect. Update: I discovered Doctor didn't provide prescription then was not in the office this following week which is why I didn't receive the promised prescription by email. After another call to the office today, I was promised a "generic prescription" would be emailed. It never arrived so I left yet another message. It's amusing though that during this time I've received 3 surveys about quality of care at this office!

While other doctors and their staff let things slip as Covid took over, he has maintained the same high quality/expertise and concern for patients that he had couple years ago. Dr. Brodsky provided me with pros and cons of treatment options (including cost/time of recovery and where to get a walker.) When supply shortage meant the walker wasn't available, he approved another option within few minutes (thus ensuring I got walker the next day rather than week or more out.) I should heal in a few weeks enthused. Additionally appreciate that he treated me professionally. My friends took care of telling me to ditch shoes, get rid of loose rugs, and more. I highly recommend Dr. Brodsky who continues to excel.

I love Dr. Cavallo's office…read more I came here for an evaluation after I hurt my knee and went to Stamford Hospital ER and they told me I sprained my knee. A week and a half later my knee still didn't feel right. I made an appointment to go to Dr. Cavallo. He was real thorough. After he did the test. He diagnosed me with a torn meniscus in my right knee, he even said you can get a second opinion if I would like. He does a lot of them, he him self has even had the surgery. I was very surprised since Stamford hospital was so off with my diagnosis. Dr. Cavallo actually did my surgery and I was very nervous because this was my first surgery. He put me at ease and did my surgery perfectly. Recovery was long and one of the toughest things I've had to do through no fault of his. I also started physical therapy in the same office with James Caroleo and he and his team who have also been wonderful. I would highly recommended Dr. Cavallo office for your orthopedic needs.

This was the 4th podiatrist office to try and resolve my reoccurring right big toe ulcer. Doctor…read moreDenisa Riera diagnosed the underlying cause of the ulcer. The other (3) Doctors and practices simply tried shifting weight off the area with new shoes, and shoe inserts which would work for a few weeks, and then after the ulcer opening again they would just try skin grafts, or other inserts. I was referred because of the last open ulcer to Family Foot and Ankle Specialists for wound care, and Dr Riera was able to see the bone protrusion that others had missed/overlooked as the cause. After an out patient one day operation, the speed of my healing was so rapid compared with my history of other attempts proved to me that it was obviously the cause of my troubles. I cannot stress strongly enough that if you are not getting the results you expect from your doctor(s) to get a second opinion from Family Foot and Ankle Specialists.
