My cousin was actively texting me while in the salon still, and stated "We are at expo nails. We're trying to see if there is a better nail salon around here" after I asked where she went and got nails done. Here are some other things she texted me while in the salon still: - "And idk who did them, she didn't talk to me the WHOLE TIME" - "Ik, and I am not even good! We had an appointment for 6 of us in the bridal party on Friday afternoon at 1:30 2 were just getting pedi's one was mani only and the other 3 of us were both. We understood we probably wouldn't all go at the same time, but maybe 2 and 2 and 2 would be great. Needless to say, at 4pm 3 of us still hadn't been started, and we had rehearsal starting at 6. Once the bride told them what was up and that we had been there for over 3 hours, they hastily made up for their lost time.... The kicker? No one was charged the same price at all!!! In fact none of the prices even matched their advertised board price!! Unfortunately since we were all pressed for time, none of us knew of the price gauging (in my case I was charged for almost the same as the brides shellacked nails and all i got was a simple color on the pedi!) If you have an afternoon to kill and some money to burn this place might just be alright for you. I mean the finished product wasn't bad, and it did look nice (as long as you weren't the last girl in the group to go) but the service and the attitude and the fact that even making appointments for 6 people that didn't seem to matter, will make me never come back again... Ken tried to remove "ingrown nails" that were not giving me any pain or notice. I wound up bleeding pretty good on my left big toe. He also used the dremmel to remove regular polish-I tried to stop him saying "this is just regular polish" - and I should have left right then but didn't. Now my nails are weak and breaking while my big toe got infected and I had to go to the podiatrist. Turns out Ken left a chunk of nail in there and likely used dirty tools so I had a wicked infection. I had to get 2mm of my toe nail removed and a slice of the skin. Can't wait to see the dr bill. don't go here. Pay a few dollars more for a clean salon that autoclave instruments.

The hair stylist who welcomes us ignores my moms question of whether or not this is The Hairline. The stylist at the counter doesn't say anything, just takes my information and goes to find another stylist to do my hair. Obviously, I must be in the right place if theyre taking me, right? RIGHT??? She went with my vague idea of what I wanted, kept as much length as possible while giving me layers to relieve weight of my thick hair. She didn't rinse the shampoo/conditioner off of my scalp as much as I would have liked, but I have insanely thick hair, so I dont hold it against her. 3/4 of the way through my cut, I try to connect to their wifi. Im from Nebraska, so I have no signal in St Marys. Low and behold, the only business wifi to come up is The Fringe. Thats when I discovered I was poached, and I didn't even have service to let The Hairline know it had happened. After my cut and style, I happily paid and tipped Terri, since she was an innocent bystander in this nonsense. To my knowledge, she didn't know I was poached. After I left The Fringe, I eventually found The Hairline and went in to apologize and tip my should-have-been stylist, since I took up her valuable time when she could have had another client. YA'LL. I found out that The Fringe constantly pulls this with clients! They have people come in looking for The Hairline, and won't say that they have the wrong business, and will just steal them!
