She's also so sweet and so incredibly nice. I previously had another makeup artist lined up months before my wedding. But about two months before the wedding day, this other makeup artist had to cancel due to some understandable reasons. This lead me to frantically contact multiple makeup artists near the Sacramento and Oroville area. Luckily for me, the moment I talked to Olivia on the phone, I knew I wanted her to be my makeup artist. Just over the phone she sounded so sincere and helpful. I quickly scheduled a makeup trial a few weeks before my wedding day. Olivia drove out to Oroville for the bridal makeup trial. She was very attentive as to the kind of bridal look I wanted and even suggested a few things when I didn't know what style/color to choose. When I was done with the makeup trial, I was more at ease with my wedding planning because I knew I had found a great makeup artist. I even went to a makeup store after our trial and bought a lot of products she used and recommended. She just gives off that trustworthy (and cool) vibe. As for the day of my wedding, she was amazing! She met my maids-of-honor for the first time and was really quick to know what foundation color and style to do for them. She was also so much fun! She felt like a friend joining us with our girl talk and laughter. She even helped one of my maids-of-honor with her hair. She went above and beyond. Oh! I should also mention she uses air brush foundation. I was having an outdoor wedding and the air brush foundation felt really light and it didn't drip off my face during my 2 p.m. (90 degrees) spring ceremony. Yay! The reason this review is so overdue is because I recently had my makeup done for my own wedding and was thoroughly disappointed. The entire time I was comparing the girl's work to Andrea's. Andrea uses an assortment of quality products, really listens to what you want, and identifies and plays up your best features. She didn't just paint some foundation on me and move on to the next thing like this other chick. She highlighted, contoured, moisturized, and did all she could to make sure our makeup had staying power for the whole day (it did!). She applied individual lash sets, which looked amazing. And overall, she's just a sweet, lovely person to spend a morning playing with makeup with. Her prices are extremely reasonable, especially for such great service and quality of her work. Not only was she the best communicator, but she was so incredibly reassuring that she understood what I was looking for and would not make me look like I did at the first trial. Being from SF I had no time for a make-up trial with her, but she did squeeze me in the day before the wedding to play with my hair and talk colors for makeup. Upon meeting her I hugged her. I just knew I was in the right hands. Hair trial super sweet and effortless, she knew exactly what to do based on what I wanted. The next morning she was right on time.
