I'm giving a 3 because there isn't much in the area, so it's nice to have them as an option, rather than driving into Deer Park or Chewelah. We didn't try the ice cream, just the pizza. We ordered the Chuck and a 4 piece breadstick. We did ask for light on cheese and olives and mushrooms on only half the pizza. Now, if this is "light cheese" then I can see why people say they're generous with toppings. I think they gave us the full pizza amount of olives and mushrooms in just the one half. Is this the best pizza I've ever had? No. Is it better than a frozen pizza, yes. So I was very grateful to have it as an option and we will likely be back to try the ice cream, but it was pretty expensive at around $40.00 for a large pizza and 4 breadsticks. They do charge you $1.50 to bake it, which we knew ahead of time. Give them a try, because it's good to be able to support local businesses rather than chains. read more

This place is great! We've always had awesome service here. We've come to loon lake every summer for the past 6 years and we always get the ice cream here at least once. My husband has been coming here over summers since he was a kid. Portions for ice cream are always giant! I recommend getting the smallest size and you'll still be overly full if you eat it all. read more

They were out of lettuce but server kindly explained it's because they demand good quality lettuce for their customers & had ran out- which I appreciated. One of our favorite places for ice cream! The scoops are HUGH! The prices are dirt cheap! What more can you ask for from this tiny little storefront? Don't come in here expecting a fancy, high butter fat ice cream (I think they serve Dreyer's?) Do be ready for a serious overload of dairy. I would give zero stars but that wasn't an option. Waited in line for 15 mins, let another customer cut in front of us to pay for her pizza, to be told we could not order three milkshakes, the menu clearly offers small/large for sizes. Two families of 4 plus more that were in a group together, came in behind us, and we were told they couldn't make milkshakes because the people behind us would have to wait too long. I don't know if they need another blender or worker, in order to offer something clear being advertised, walked away gravely disappointed. Will not be returning. If this is something that takes too much time you should take it off your menu. read more

Yelp led us to this "dive" which turned out to be a gem. Pizza and ice cream was very good! Big portions for the ice cream. I don't agree with some other reviews about price though. I thought it was a tad spendy. I would've given it 5 stars but having to pay $1.50 for water is too much, especially with a family of 5. Evidently this establishment is anti-President Trump. It is the only reason I can come up with why someone locked the door. It was open 2 minutes before when a party of three enter the restaurant. I was wearing my Trump 2020 baseball cap. The time was just after 7 pm on 24 Jun. I will be sure to pass this tidbit of information along to my friends and family in the area. read more

Don't let the smallness of this place keep you from stopping. It is spotless inside. Be forewarned though that it can get dam busy on a holiday or weekend. I counted twenty people in side while we were there, and this place is not that large. The ice cream is of high quality and for the price which is not that bad you get more than you would think. As for the pizza, it is not bad but not great. It definitely doesn't compare to say Benedito's. But if you are in Loon Lake and are hungry than this will pass. The pizza has a very odd flavor to it that is not familiar too any pizza I have ever eaten. It is not bad but very odd. They do put a lot of toppings on and the price is on par with other places. One thing I can't fathom though is why they insist on using canned mushrooms, What are they thinking. I would like to give them 2 1/2 stars but can't. read more

The one and only thing that was a positive out of our experience was the pizza was delicious. The service was just awkward and rude. The gal working was very unwelcoming as if she had no interest in helping us. We asked questions and she responded very short and acted almost bothered that we'd even ask. I stood waiting to pay for 5 minutes with no acknowledgment so finally sat down confused on what to do. I felt so awkward and to be honest we almost left while our food was being cooked. We would have gone somewhere else but everywhere else was too far a drive for how tired and hungry we were. I also think it was very overpriced. 6+ years ago when they were in the older building, they were something spectacular in the way of ice cream portions for the price... It was bliss, and the thought of a massive sugar rush ending in a chocolate colored glaze on my face made me quiver with anticipation... Fast forward to May 2014, things have apparently "improved" from the way that it was... Meaning the portions are still larger than most, and cheaper than some (you hear me Baskin&Robins!?), but there has been a bit of a price hike between $1.50-$2.50 more for their various (humorously named) sizes from the "infant" to the 1/2 gal mega monster... The new building just a stones throw away from the old is very clean and "sleek" for Stevens county. The pizza DID NOT look appetizing in the least, (leave an old slice of Totinos under a heat bulb, you get the idea) and was in itself half the price of an entire frozen pizza, but the ice cream wasn't bad. Will I be making the 30+ mile drive for this ice cream, no way, but it's definitely not half bad... read more

Small family establishment in loon lake. The thin crust pizza is loaded with fresh toppings and then covered, and I mean COVERED in their cheese mix. Delicious. A large pizza is less than $20 and can compete with top pizzas from any big city. read more

When we walked in the door it was so quiet and appeared that there wasn't anyone there. After we stood there for what seemed like a few minutes a woman that was tucked away in the corner said, "hello." We ordered a SMALL pizza with two toppings and paid over $15. It was okay and not worth the price. I should have taken a picture of their soda fridge to show how FILTHY it was. I'm not sure how the place stays in business. Maybe it's the ice cream. read more
